2 live on mission together. Today is Help Week where we focus on understanding the meaning of the Gospel and how to share it. We want to be with Jesus through Scripture (the Bible), prayer, and discussion. Find game ideas on the website. Gospel Discussion: Student Prepare & Speak Prepare to speak. H highlight the verse that speaks to you. E explain what the passage means to you. A apply what God is saying in these verses to you. R respond to what you ve read in pray and action. Speak to group. 1. Read Scripture Out Loud: John 1: Context: The Gospel of John emphasizes both the humanity and divine nature of Jesus. Jesus was God in the flesh. In Jesus we can see the beauty and glory of who God is. In Jesus we can find grace, truth, and salvation. Like the people in this story, we are invited to come and see Jesus. To understand who He is by spending time with Him which we call, being with Jesus. As disciples of Jesus our lives point other people to come and see who He is for themselves. 3. HEAR: Tell what spoke to you through the HEAR method of reading these verses. Bottom Line: The Gospel invites everyone to come and see the beauty of Jesus. Discuss in groups and pray. Get into groups and ask each other the HEAR method about these verses. Create space to connect with each other & encounter the Holy Spirit through prayer.

3 live on mission together. Today is Overcome Week where we hear a student share their story of following Jesus. We want to become like Jesus by overcoming obstacles in our faith journey. The distinguishing mark of a disciple s life is that there was a time when you turned from your sins and placed your faith in Jesus. 1. Begin by telling about yourself. Your name, personality, and something fun about yourself. 2. What was your life like before you began following Jesus? Example: What was your attitude like? What were some things that you struggled with and words that you felt like defined you? 3. When did you come to know Jesus/get serious about your faith in Jesus? 4. How has following Jesus made your life different now? 5. Would you like to share your favorite Bible verse? 6. What is the one thing you wish everyone knew about Jesus? 7. Would you pray for everyone? Create space to connect with one another and encounter the Holy Spirit through prayer.

Community Service Project: House of Hope 1. Watch House of Hope video at. 2. Get in groups and pray for the ministry of House of Hope. Create space to connect with one another and encounter the Holy Spirit through prayer.

Introduce student video. 2. Share favorite Bible verse and something meaningful to you from the video. 3. Pray Response & Follow Up 1. Invite students who like to talk/pray with someone more to talk to a Student Leader. 2. Student Leader give them a journal with their favorite verse and contact info in it. 3. Invite them back to FP, to their church, and to walk along with them as a new follower of Jesus.
