1 Grant #1 $2,000 Grant #2 $4,200 Scholarships - Wyoming District Lutheran Schools Pastor Training in Sierra Leone There are currently 4 Lutheran Schools in the Wyoming District, Martin Lutheran Grammar School, Sheridan, WY; Mt. Hope Lutheran School, Casper, WY; TrinityLutheran School, Riverton, WY and Trinity Lutheran School, Cheyenne, WY, which provide Christian Education for the children in these towns. This grant in the amount of$2,000 equally divided between the schools will help provide additional edeucational materials for the schools. We ask that You bless each of our schools, the students therein and the teachers which continue to teach your word. Please bless each student as they come to know You better in their lives through the power ofthe Holy Spirit and they reach out to others in love and compassion. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen The Lutheran pastors in Sierra Leone, Africa, receive instruction from LCMS missionary pastors who are in their country to teach and train them. There are pastors of the Wyoming District who have gone, assisted and taught in Sierra Leone. To further this training the Wyoming DistrictLWML voted to contribute $4,200. This grant will be used to help defray the expenses of the pastors going to Sierra Leone, the materials for teaching the class and materials to take into the field. You have commanded us to go and teach. We pray that You would guide us and lead us, by Your Holy Spirit, as we go forward to tell others in the world of You and Your love. Be with those pastors who they venture into worlds far away from home and guide them as they lead others to You. In Jesus' name. Amen

2 Grant #3 $3,000 Tell the Good News About Jesus Convocation The Wyoming District LCMS provides convocations to educate and equip people of the district through evangelism topics, witnessing opportunites and encouragement. Convocation have grown in attendance and participation since This grant in the amount of$3,000 will be dispersed over the next 2 years and will help to defray the cost of travel, hotel and meals for presenters. Grant #4 $5,000 Trinity/HOPE - Feed the Haitian Children The purpose of this grant is to help meet the physical needs of the hungry children in our Lutheran schools in Haiti, by providing a hot lunch for 100 students each day. As we feed them physically it will provide opportunities to feed them spiritually with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The amount of this grant is $,5000. We are aware that we need to feed the children in all ways, not just spiritually but physically as well. We ask that the money we send will provide food to nurish these children and help them to grown in their love and understanding of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In His name we pray. Amen

3 Grant #5 $1,000 Grant #6 $3000 Wind River Indian Mission Vacation Bible School is an important outreach to the children on the Wind River Indian Reservation. This grant will help provide Christ centered tracts to be distributed during the Clothing Giveaway at the Wind River Lutheran Mission, thus facilitiating the outreach ofthe mission. There are many unchurched people in the world today, some of whom are located right in our own back yard. Empower us with your Spirit to reach out to others with the love of Christ. As we keep them in our daily prayers may we be moved to support those who reach out on our behalf. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen Hands of Mercy - Poultry Project Hands of Mercy is a partnership with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sudan. To reach people with disabilites it has two goals; to share the love of Jesus and to teach marketable training skills. This grant will provide for the purchase of 100 U gachicks; purchase chick starter and feed; purchase a three wheel bike for delivery of eggs; purchase anitbiotics; purchase egg crates and washing supplies; and help purchase an ongoing supply of ingredients to make their own feed. We ask that You would watch over the people of Sudan as they take on the task of caring for these young chicks. Guide them as they struggle to raise these chickens. We would ask that You watch over these special people as they struggle with life where they live. Send your Holy Spirit to guide them through the Gospel which the Hands of Mercy proj ect proclaims. All this we ask in Jesus name. Amen

4 Grant #7 $3,500 Grant #8 $5,000 Wyoming District Teachers Conference Food Co-op Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne A Teachers Conference is held each October to help train and educate all the teachers of the Wyoming District. This grant in the Many students from around this country and the world attend amount of$3,500 will help pay for presenters, mileage and other Concordia Seminary as preparation to serve God's people throughout expenses, as well as provide materials for those attending. the world. Some have given up careers to come to the seminary without the financial flow of funds that they had before. You provide teachers to help educate our children and help them to grow in their Christian faith. May Your Spirit be with the teachers as they gather together to learn more of you and your love so that they can share it with their students. Please bless their conference and time together in Jesus name. Amen One way the seminary helps is to provide students access to the Food Co-op which supplies between 75% to 85% offamilies food and household needs each month at no cost to the student. This grant will help provide assistance to help purchase perishable food items, such as eggs, milk, ground beef, fruits and vegetables for the students who attend the seminary. Please bless those students attending the seminary. We ask that You bless the food and other items that are purchased and given through this valuable resource. May these blessings enrichen their lives and bodies to enable them to serve to you. All this we ask in Jesus' name. Amen

5 Grant #9 $2,000 Grant #10 $4, Orphans - Kenya Wyoming District School Scholarship Support There are about 1.4 million children in Kenya who are orphaned by AIDS, and an estimated 8% of Kenyan adults are living with the lllvvirus. Ministry partners aim to guide at-risk children into the homes of loving families and under the wing of Evangelical Lutheran Church of Kenya congregations to help youngsters become educated, responsible Christian adults. The cost of one orphan is $400 per year for home-based care, including food, education, and spiritual support. We ask that you will watch over the orphans chosen to parttake in this grant. We ask that you guide them, take care of them and lead them to learn to know Jesus and grow in the knowledge and understanding of His love for them. Grant healing to those who are suffering and comfort to those who have lost loved ones. In Jesus name we pray. Amen Educating the youth of our congregations and communities is part of Christ's charge to us. Sometimes even the modest cost of tutiton is too high for some familes who desire a quality Lutheran Christian education for their children. This grant will provide $1,000 in scholarship funding for each of the 4 Lutheran Schools in the Wyoming District. We ask that You bless all families and help all of us to grow in Your love. Bless the children that attend our Lutheran Schools throughout the Wyoming District. Help those who desire a Christian education for their children to accept the funds offered so that every child may come to know You and grow in the knowledge and wisdom of Your love. 6 Grant #11 $3,300 Equipping God's Servants Computers for Bible Translators God commands His children to let the Word of Christ dwell in them richly. Without the work of Bible translation and Scripture engagement, people cannot have the Word of God on their hearts because it is not available in their mother tongue. This grant is to help provide funding to purchase laptop computers, peripherals and software to help equip national translators for their work in Bible translation and Scripture engagement. We ask that You be with the workers as they translate the Bible into tongues and languages that people can understand and therefore come to know Your son, Jesus Christ and the salvation that comes only through Him. Help them to be a blessing to all who come into contact with their work, that your Spirit may produce faith through the Gospel. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
