Please sign up on the sheet in the CIC if you are willing to respond to a need in our community if called upon by Reverend Dennis Shaw, Director of Missions, Yadkin County. Please provide your name, contact number and list your area of experience (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.). Fellowship Meal Sept. 13, 6:00 pm The menu will be: Lowes fried Chicken, with mashed potatoes, beans and biscuits, desert and drinks. Will need a firm head count by Sunday the 10th since we are ordering the chicken. Please, Please sign up asap. We need planning time so as to not waste food. Offering September 3: + $9, Building Fund $ Open Discussion...ever thought about what Bible states... scripture confirming "Age of Accountability". Would you be interested in an "Open Discussion", to discuss and learn other people's thoughts and knowledge?... Sorry guys, this is a ladies only. Meet September 15th (Friday) Devoted Hearts Classroom, at 10:15 a.m. Purpose of September gathering is to see if there is a desire to start this group. Discussion with light refreshments will be from 10:30-12:30. If enough interest we will discuss different topics for discussion each month. Please pray about attending and ideas of discussing. FLOWER CALENDAR FOR If you would like to put flowers in the church during our new church year, please look at the calendar in the east hallway and write your name where you would like to do the flowers. JOLLY FRIENDS NEWS Dues are $20 per year if you would like to be a member. **NOTE: See Dates for Jolly Friends and See Sign-Up Sheets in the CIC, east hallway, for more information. NOTE: Be in the Family Life Center 15 minutes before leave time. Events, Dates, and Times are subject to change. October 5: Trip to Mabry Mill and Chocolate Factory CLOTHING CLOSET We need infant and all children s clothing and gently used toys for our giveaway in November. Storage on 3 rd floor with clothing. HURRICAN HARVEY RELIEF If you want to send a check. Mail it to NC Baptist Men, PO Box 1107, Cary NC Designate it to Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. 100 % of this money will be used for this disaster relief. Please be in prayer for the hurricane victims and the volunteers as they go to serve. This event is unprecedented in recent history. They will be many affected with loss of hope. Pray for them that they find the Hope that is found in Christ. Gaylon Moss.

5 Brotherhood Chicken Stew with Trunk or Treat and Silent Auction Put this event on your calendar for Oct. 29th. During this event, we will collect food for our food give-away at Thanksgiving. For the month of September, please bring: 1 pound bags of dried pinto beans boxed mac and cheese. We plan to do 200 boxes, so that means we need 200 of each item. There is a sign up sheet for Trunk or Treat Cars in the CIC. We need at least 20 cars. The box for candy is located on the pew in the west hallway. We will need lots of candy or small items.
