3 Core Values Agapé Baptist College exists as a ministry of Agapé Baptist Church. At the essence of Agapé Baptist College is our certainty in the power of God, the inspiration of the Scriptures held in the King James Bible, and the belief in the Local New Testament Church. Purpose Agapé Baptist College has a well-defined purpose. Training Spirit filled men and women of God for the ministry! Passion Agapé Baptist College is sanctified for those men and women who long to know God and who thirst for His Spirit, those who would rather die than not know the breath of God in their lives and ministry. Agapé Baptist College is not for the superficial Christian who is not driven to live for God, but for the Christian who must serve God or be without a purpose in life. We are committed to training church planters and pastors (and their spouses) who seek to serve in the USA, or on the foreign field. Our Evangelistic Atmosphere Faculty, staff, and students go soul winning weekly and participate in the evangelistic ministry of Agapé Baptist Church. Our Fundamental Emphasis We are fundamentalists and use the term proudly. We believe in a literal Hell which has fire and brimstone and a literal Heaven with streets of gold. We stand for the King James Bible and the local New Testament Baptist church. We believe a biblical local church is reproductive planting and growing daughter churches consistently and steadfastly. As a result of that belief the primary purpose of Agapé Baptist College is the training of spirit-filled Baptist preachers and church planters. 3
4 Doctrinal Statement Scriptures We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally and plenary inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed, and therefore are the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to Man. The Scriptures shall be interpreted according to their normal grammatical historical meaning. The King James Version of the Bible shall be the official and only translation used by the college. John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 4
5 Administration Bro. James L. Clemensen, B.A., M.Ed, D.D. Founder Bro. James Clemensen served as a California Highway Patrol officer for 13 years, before entering full time Christian service. Bro. Clemensen and his wife, Kathy, started Agape Boarding school in their home in Stockton, California. The Lord blessed, and the ministry soon outgrew their home. They went to several locations before the Lord allowed them in 1996 to settle on a 40-acre piece of property in Stockton, Missouri. The ministry continued to grow as well as Bro. Clemensen s vision to help the next generation. The school went from 40 acres to over 500 acres, from several small outdated buildings to a campus that includes two full sized gymnasiums, an outdoor swimming pool, an amphitheater, a rodeo arena, three barns, an indoor riding arena, 2 football fields, a baseball field, an outdoor floor hockey court, a commercial kitchen and dining facility, a welding shop, an auto mechanic garages, and many other buildings. Bro. Clemensen vision continued to expand. The fall of 2018 we saw the start of a vocational school in welding and Agape Baptist College was established. These ministries are allowing Agape Baptist Church to have a greater impact on the next generation. Pastor Joseph Grande, B.A. Chancellor Pastor Joe Grande has been pastoring for 28 years. 8 General Information CAMPUS LOCATION Agapé Baptist College is located at 822 West St. in Stockton, Missouri just at the edge of town and is a ministry of Agapé Baptist Church of Stockton, Missouri. Agapé Baptist Church operates Agapé Boarding School for troubled teen boys and Agapé Christian Academy for grades K-12. It uses ACE as its curriculum. Agapé Baptist Church and Boarding School is located at East 1400 Road, Stockton, Missouri. Financial Information Agape Baptist College is a small Bible college dedicated to preparing people who are called to serve God and help to furnish them for that purpose. We are a ministry of a local independent Baptist church. The college offers various plans for the student who is serious about his calling and training. Please see below some of the options available: 1. Pastor s Gold Plan: This plan provides for young men or women who come with their pastor s highest possible recommendation with a full work scholarship. Men will work fulltime in the ministry of Agape Baptist Church and Boarding School, a minimum of 40 hours a week while maintaining a G.P.A. of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Each semester they would carry an academic load of no less than 12 credits and no more than 18 credits. Ladies would follow the same plan while serving in the ministry of Wings of Faith girls boarding school. This work scholarship program provides for hours of credit per semester. It also provides for room and board. All other fees must be paid by the student. It is also expected that each student enrolled in this plan will be involved on the weekends in the outreach ministries and services of Agape Baptist Church. 2. Pastor s Silver Plan: This plan has the same description with the exception that the scholarship is a tuition only scholarship and room and board are to be paid by the student at the current published rate. The work portion of the scholarship requires 20 hours of work in the appropriate ministry (as mentioned above) and the same weekend ministry involvement. Students who wish to participate in either of the above plans would be expected to arrive on campus 30 days before the start of the semester. During that 30-day period each student would be introduced to the program of Agape Baptist Church and Boarding School and trained to serve in the program where their skills best suit them. During this time, they would live in the dormitory facilities and have access to the dining hall during meal times. Only after this 30-day period will any student be allowed to register for classes. 8
9 3. Full Pay Plan: A student may pay full tuition and room and board and not work on work scholarship while enrolled in Agape Baptist College, but it is still expected that they will be active on weekends in the outreach and services of Agape Baptist Church. Tuition Rates, Fees, and Scholarships: Application Fee $50.00 Registration Fee $ Room and Board per Semester $1, Tuition per Semester $1, Vehicles Registration $25.00 Valedictorian Scholarship (Valedictorian of current year and must have at least 5 in your graduating class) $1, ($ per semester) Pastoral Scholarship (Father must be the Senior Pastor of a like faith church) $3, ($1, per semester) 9
