Kumla Dinner Our annual Kumla Dinner will be January 19th from 4:30-7pm. Sign up sheets are in the narthex and the FLC lobby for ways you can help! Helmar Bible Institute begins a new study in Philippians titled: Joy In Jesus. The class runs from 7-8pm and begins January 9th. All are invited. To help with planning, please sign up in the FLC lobby or register with Pastor or Sue. Adult Sunday School- Fred & Beth Alexander are leading a class on the Parables of Jesus at 9am in the basement. Legacy Basketball at Helmar begins with practices on January 5th & 12th beginning at 9am. The cost is $80. Contact Don Davidson, ; Lee Swank, , or Lee@LegacyFamilies.org for more details. The Helmar Musicians would like to thank our dear church family for the generous and thoughtful gifts we received. Announcements Year End Giving- Please have any contributions to the church in by 9am December 31st to be recorded for this year. Keys For Kids devotionals are available in the FLC lobby. The Children's Ministry Council (CMC) would like to invite everyone to help the kids of Helmar in the coming year. There are signup sheets on the narthex bulletin board for the various events and programs that we run throughout the year. We need many volunteers and the CMC would love your help. If you would like to help out in the nursery or just make some yummy treats, there will be many opportunities where you can help! Thank you! Cantata DVD s are now available. Sign up in the narthex if you would like one. Giving Statements Anyone who requested statements last year will automatically get them this year. If you are new or didn t get one last year and want one, please contact Sue in the office. They should be out early in January. Our Announcement list is the best way to hear about last minute cancellations due to the weather. Please let Sue know if you d like to be on our Prayer Chain, Announcement or Newsletter lists.
