1 Volume 4, Issue 5 R a d i a n t L i v i n g W o r s h i p C e n t e r May 1, 2011 The Radical Radiant s Missions Statement The Mission of Radiant Living Worship Center is to advance the cause of Christ through informative preaching, inspiring ministry, and innovative soul winning. To be a place where the anointing of God flows freely and causes all believers to be radiant, radical, and righteous and to shine and soar to the Glory of God. Message From the Bishop Radiant Living Worship Center 4837 N. Dixie Highway Deerfield Beach, FL Post Office Box 305 Deerfield Beach, FL Office: (954) Fax: (954) RLWC@radliving.org ADDRESSES: BishopPelt@radliving.org Pastor Anthony Pelt LadyPelt@radliving.org First Lady Millicent Pelt Womenofwisdom@radliving.org Women s Ministry RADgirls@radliving.org Girls Club Ministry Musicministry@radliving.org Michael Chinnery Finearts@radliving.org Tracy Haynie/Janit Garner RADyouthministry@radliving.org Youth Department Solo@radliving.org Single s Ministry Victorybible@radliving.org Collegiate Ministry Communications@radliving.org Communications Ministry Mensministry@radliving. Preparation for Manifestation As we bask in the Glory of Easter, we now turn our hearts to 50 day period between our Lord s resurrection and ascension. During this period, Christ poured into His disciples to prepare them for the indwelling of the Blessed Holy Spirit. As believers, we must not only celebrate the fact that Jesus is alive, but we must also make ourselves available for the purpose, progress, and promise of the Kingdom. Jesus came that we might have life and have it to the full (John 10:10). The body of Christ is to be the visible habitation of the Lord. Through sanctification, God prunes our doubts, restrains our devilish desires, and disciplines our flesh to put us in the position to receive the presence and power of the Spirit. Radiant, I want to challenge you to take some time each day to meditate, pray and prepare for God s blessings to be manifested. Be Radiant, Bishop Anthony T. Pelt

3 VOLUME 4, ISSUE 5 PAGE 3 Spring Tea 2011 RLWC Women of Wisdom you did it AGAIN! Our 4 th Annual Spring Tea was absolutely fabulous. We filled the room at E. Pat Larkin s with about 300 women. The tables were beautifully decorated, the atmosphere was filled with love and laughter. How pleasant it is for SISTERS to come together. The theme this year was Yesterday, Today and Forever More. The skit was written by Sis. Crystal Capre. The focus of the skit was God never changes, He is the same and He is going to judge SIN. The skit expresses in the message how some people are going to miss Heaven because they are not living right. Sometimes we look at others and what they are doing or not doing and feel because we are doing a little better it s okay. But remember, we must live our lives according to the word of God. The skit was comical, yet it had a serious message. Job well done! Again, I want to thank all of the women of RLWC for your hard work and labor of love. Look at what we can accomplish for the Kingdom of God when we work together on one accord. Only what you do for Christ will last, so keep working for HIM. God bless each of you, Lady Millicent Pelt RAD Debutant 2011 Radiant Living Worship Center proudly recognizes Miss Jabberwock 2011, Debutant Camille Aliesea-Renee Royal crowned Miss Jabberwock 2011 on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the Jabberwock Cotillion, Visions of Loveliness. The Cotillion was held at the Marriott Heron Bay Resort Hotel in Coral Springs by the Pompano Beach Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The Jabberwock Cotillion sponsored by the Pompano Beach Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is an annual event that recognizes teenage girls in grades 11th and 12th who have successfully completed the Debutant program. Through the program, participants learn the value of community service, etiquette, conflict resolution, the arts and a myriad of other meaningful and relevant topics for finer womanhood. This seven month long program ends with the cotillion which is a formal introduction of the young ladies to society. Camille is a senior at Deerfield Beach High School where she is an honor roll student and participates in the Future Florida Educators of America. She is a faithful and avid volunteer with the Jim and Jan Moran Boys and Girls Club in Deerfield Beach. Camille is an active member of Radiant Living Worship Center where she serves in many of the church ministries. Camille is a member of the media ministry, an active member of Ray of Sound, and an active member of Radgirls. Camille is the daughter of James Royal and Corliss Royal. The Women of the Pompano Beach Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Radiant Living Worship Center is very proud of Camille Royal and is praying for her continued success. Camille, may God Bless you and keep up the good work!

5 VOLUME 4, ISSUE 5 PAGE 5 Gospel Stage Play Sinking Sand Filled with heartwarming humor, inspiring songs and the healing power of faith, Sinking Sand is an unforgettable musical (ministry) theater experience. Sinking Sand brings endearing characters to life in a story that combines real-world heartache with joyous laughter. It s lively and fun, with terrific characters forced into compelling conflicts everyone can relate to and songs that range from poignant to high in spirits. Sinking Sand is the story of a single mother chasing dreams and goals that seem to allude her grasp as she struggles to provide for her all-to-sneaky teenage daughter. It is the story of a Church Girl who finds herself tangled in the webs we weave even though the warning signs are all around. It is the story of manipulation, extortion, and being betrayed by the one you think loves you to the point that one s reality is put into question. And then it s a story of hope, redemption, healing, and restoration with a shocking twist. Though this is a gospel stage play, each scene has a powerful message that should encourage each individual that attends, that it is never too late to give your life to the Lord, and that we always have a friend in Jesus no matter where we are in life. This is a must see production. This dynamic production was written and directed by Radiant s very own, Debra Hanna and Janna Chinnery; and produced by Minister Michael Chinnery. Also, starring members from Radiant Living Worship Center; Minister Tracy Haynie, Debra Hanna, Ackimo Charles, and Felicia (FeFe) Moore. There is only one show: Saturday, May 6:00 p.m. Suncoast High School Auditorium, 1717 Avenue S, Riviera Beach. Tickets are $20.00 in advance and $25.00 at the door. For tickets contact: (866) or Something to think about... Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone? What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it? What if we gave it to Kids as gifts? What if we used it when we traveled? What if we used it in case of emergency? This is something to m a k e y o u go...hmm...where is my Bible? Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities? And no dropped calls! VS
