5 Important Year-end Reminders FINANCIAL NOTICE 2019 envelopes are available in the Overflow. Even if you are an online giver, please pick up your envelopes (it helps us ensure no reuse of your number) If you no longer wish to have envelopes, please the church office receipts available late Feb. Heart to Heart 2019 Applications are now available on the church website for new & returning team members. Plans are underway to travel to Pikangikum, Weagamow, Fort Hope, Big Trout, & Curve Lake in late May/June. Exact dates to follow. Application deadline is January 10, For more information contact Jennifer Thank you for your continued prayers for baby Serenity. She is doing much better, but is still in Toronto with her mother & grandmother, awaiting test results. They will be there for a few more weeks, possibly even over Christmas, so please pray for comfort & peace as they are far from their home & loved ones. Service Opportunities SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES: There are opportunities to serve in the Sunday School ministry and in the Kids Club ministry. If you are able to help, please contact either Pastor Kathy. FABRIC NEEDED: If you have any leftover fabric (suitable for clothing), please drop it off in the labelled box by the library. The material will be made to make dresses for girls in Africa. NOTICE REGARDING THE LARGE PRINT OUR DAILY BREAD: The January/February/March 2019 large-print edition of Our Daily Bread was mistakenly printed with articles from The corrected copies are anticipated to arrive by mid-january. 6 Prayer & Scripture Corner You are invited to the Monday Night Prayer Meeting. Come and Add Your Voice to the Prayers of our Church and our Community. All are welcome. The meetings are held weekly at 7pm in the Overflow room (at the top of the stairs from the main parking lot doors). PRAYER FOR STRENGTH, HEALING AND COMFORT Lord, you are our healer, our Great Physician, you know our needs and the needs of those in our congregation and our community. We pray for those who need your healing touch, we pray for those who need your restoration of body, of mind, of soul. We pray for those who are shut-in, grieving, or lonely. Lord, we ask that you would strengthen and guide with your compassion and grace. In Your Son s Holy name, we pray. Amen.
