Today, we celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Easter. We read from John 10:27-30. In this Gospel reading, we learn and understand why we often hear Jesus referred to as the Good Shepherd.

Each of us is one of Jesus sheep we hear his voice, he knows us, and we follow him.

2 Today, we celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Easter. We read from John 10: In this Gospel reading, we learn and understand why we often hear Jesus referred to as the Good Shepherd. Jesus taught his disciples: My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can take them out of my hand. Each of us is one of Jesus sheep we hear his voice, he knows us, and we follow him. Jesus has given us the path to eternal life, to life forever with God in heaven, if we choose to believe and to follow him. Practice listening this week. Listen to the voice of Jesus as you pray. Listen to mom and dad when they ask you to do something. Listen to a friend who might feel sad or lonely. Listen to the sounds of nature that God has given us in our beautiful world. When the week is over, think about something you learned or heard this week that you might have missed if you hadn t been listening carefully. For More Fun:! Read John 10:27-30 in your family bible.
