Our expectation is that 70% or $6,700 will come from the weekly offertory. Parishioners contributed $5,691 for the week ending August 28st. Open to all parishioners. 2nd Collection This Weekend: The Catholic University This week s 2nd collection supports The Catholic University of America (CUA) and its scholarship fund for needy students. CUA, located in Washington, D.C., is the national university of the Catholic Church. Many priests and professional lay ministers throughout the US obtain their education from CUA. 4 What s Happening at OLOS NEW Fall Mass Schedule The new Fall Mass schedule begins September 10th as follows: Saturday: 4:30 PM AND Sunday: 7:30 AM, 8:45 AM and 11 AM (EXCEPT for Sept 18th Mass at the Lake at 10:45 AM only) Coffee hours moving back to O Connell Hall Beginning September 11th Registration for Religious Education Classes NOW open You can now go to and register your child or children for Religious Education Classes which begin September 25th. You can also complete a form at Coffee Hours or by stopping by the Rectory Office. ECO-TIP OF THE WEEK: Water is a precious gift. Practice Water Mindfulness: assess your water consumption and make efforts to reduce the amount of water you use. A few examples/tips: 1) You can save up to 5 gallons of water per day if you brush your teeth without running the water. 2) Cut 2 minutes off of your shower time! (you can do this by shaving with the water off, or lathering up quicker). Reducing the amount of time you spend in the shower will conserve more than 10 gallons of water per shower. 3) Visit the link below to calculate your water footprint.
