He takes us into places of nourishment, refreshment, and rest. Thanks be unto our loving Savior! My Jesus is with me. Even when the darkness hides Him and shadows trouble me, He is right there to assure me of His protection. Nothing is beyond His ability or desire to save me! Great is my Lord! God feeds us with goodness. We are flooded with blessing, in places we would not even imagine we could be blessed. God continually surprises us with new mercies that keep us into His everlasting care! The Hoyleton Ministries are dedicated to helping all people realize the quality of life that God intends. Their staff provides compassionate care to thousands of children who have, through no fault of their own, entered the child welfare system. Your donation helps to provide the resources necessary for the Hoyleton Ministries to care for the most vulnerable members of our communities. christmas fund The Christmas Fund for the Veterans of the Cross and the Emergency Fund is one of the four special mission offerings of the National United Church of Christ. This special offering provides direct financial assistance to retired and active United Church of Christ authorized ministers and lay employees and their surviving spouses, including pension and health premium supplementation, emergency assistance, and Christmas thank-you checks. Envelopes for this offering are in the bulletin and will be collected today. kindercottage There is a collection box in the Narthex for donations to help support families who use Kindercottage services. Donations will be used to pay for family fees at Kindercottage while the parent(s) is seeking employment so the child(ren) may continue to attend Kindercottage. For some children, the meal at Kindercottage is the only balanced meal they receive in a day. We are also collecting paper products, cleaning products, nonperishable healthy snacks, and canned or boxed foods. There is a box in the passageway for these items. Community hope center Community Hope Center (CHC) will be closed on Friday, December 28. Our next opportunity to serve at CHC will be on Friday, January 25 from 9:00-1:00. Please contact the office if you are interested in going to CHC. Monday Morning Reflections Come join us at Maedge s on Monday mornings at 10:00 a.m. to have a cup of coffee, discuss the sermon, read scripture together, and talk about whatever is on your mind. nursery A parent must accompany their child(ren) in the Nursery as the Nursery is not staffed. Livestream is available for viewing the service in the Nursery.
