Once again, this area covers a broad base of ministries including: Deacon Ministry Widow s Banquet, Deacon s Retreat, homebound ministry, hospital visitation, prayer ministry, Lord s Supper, and other unique needs. 5 2019 Adult Discipleship & Education Luke 24: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations Our primary vision for adult discipleship is for our people to engage and be transformed by His Word. When we are saved, a desire fills us that encourages us to love others. We put away old traditions and routines. We take on His Truth and share it with those He puts in our paths to love. Christ s salvation came at great cost, and compels us to be willing to get uncomfortable for Him. Obedience to Jesus brings with it a sense of joy that is shared and spread as we get our hands and feet dirty through service. Corporately, this happens through: Sunday School Our classes meet each Sunday morning for a time of study and enrichment in His Word. Community Groups We meet the fourth Sunday afternoon of each month in small groups, for a time of intentional fellowship. id Wednesday Each semester we offer multiple Wednesday night classes which specifically target areas for growth for our body. These are facilitated by our staff and members. Men s and Women s Ministry Regular events promote spiritual growth and fellowship for our members. Mission Trips We intentionally serve in Tulsa, in Oklahoma, the United States, and overseas to share the Gospel and encourage others in the faith. Life on Life (LOL) LOL are groups of two that meet regularly with a design to specifically promote discipleship at an individual level and pace. 4

6 2019 Music and Senior Adult Ministry Our response to what the Lord has done is to make much of Him in our expressions of worship. For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hand I sing for joy (Ps. 92:4). The 2019 budget provides resources for these ministries in the following areas: Choir Ministry Adult choir musical collections and Sunday morning anthems, Handbell music and maintenance, children s music resources, resource subscriptions and ministry supplies. Piano & Organ Maintenance Seasonal tunings and general maintenance. Licensing & Software Christian copyright licensing, rehearsal licensing, worship planning software and lyric subscription. Worship Team Music arrangements & resources and rehearsal tracks. Honorariums Audio/Visual Weekly operations & supplies, general repairs and equipment replacement. Senior Adult Ministry Assists with monthly & seasonal activity expenses. 5
