2 Worship and Praise Service August 16, 2015 Welcome to worship at First Christian Church! Each week we offer two different worship services: 8:15 am service features traditional worship and 10:30 am service features modern worship. Cody Monkman will share the communion and offering devotions this morning. When communion is served, we invite all Christ Followers to participate, partaking of the bread as it is passed and retaining the cup until we can all partake together. Today we continue a five-week look at the various parables of Jesus from the Gospel of Luke. This morning, Greg Taylor, will preach on the parable of the rich fool from Luke 12. Barb O Donohue will be with us this morning during both services. Pokot jewelry will be available in the church foyer this morning.

7 Dewitt County Write Stuff for Kids is looking for school supply donations for the school year. This organization helps 500+ children in Dewitt County get the supplies they need for a successful school year! Please feel free to drop off donations in the box in the church foyer or bring to the church office.
