Yuen s Commissioning Service Join us on Sunday, December 2, during the morning service as we send our friends and IBM missionaries James and Susie Yuen, along with daughters Anna and Elise, on their way to Hong Kong. Continue to pray for them as they travel and settle in to their new home. ABF Christmas Parties Announcements IBCS Lessons & Carols Join the IBCS family as we commemorate the coming of Christ with a ceremony of Scripture readings and carols. The College Choir, Chamber Singers, and Handbells will present selections focusing on our Savior s humble birth in a manger. The concert will take place on Thursday, December 6, at 10:00 a.m. and on Friday, December 7, at 7:00 p.m. in the church foyer. Sunday, December 9 has been set aside for our annual ABF Christmas parties. Please contact your ABF leader to verify time and place. If you don t attend an ABF or haven t attended one in a while, this is a great time to get involved! Join our family this season! TBC Christmas Celebration What Sweeter Music This year our church Christmas Celebration will be part of our regular Sunday morning service on December 9 at 10:00 a.m. The church choir and orchestra will be joined by the International Baptist College & Seminary Choir to present What Sweeter Music. There will be no Sunday School or Adult Bible Fellowships that morning. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to hear about Jesus!

3 Giving Tuesday November 27 TOPS for Kids, a tuition tax credit organization helping students receive tax dollars for their education, is joining in Giving Tuesday this year. On Tuesday, November 27, you can help Arizona kids by donating. 100% of all donations that day will be given in scholarship to deserving students across the state. Also on Giving Tuesday, TOPS for Kids will have a drawing for a $250 scholarship (to be awarded in their February disbursement). Visit or call TOPS (8677) to donate or for more information. HOW IT WORKS You can make your tax credit donation on Giving Tuesday, November 27. You can still recommend a student or school to receive your donation. You get your donation back dollar-for-dollar tax credit when you file your taxes. Book of the Month Sunday, December 2, is our bookstore sale! Praise Him for His blessings in your life! Pray for each person and pray for those in need. Bless those around you with words of comfort. Word Luke 16:1-7. What had this unfaithful steward been doing and what did he plan so he would be comfortable the rest of his life? Why do you think this man behaved like this? How do you see these characteristics working out in our culture? (Hint: Figuring out how to cover sin instead of confessing!) Luke 16:8-9. What does Christ commend about this wicked steward? Why do Christians live for today with no thought for tomorrow in eternity? How can you be like this steward, but in a godly manner to receive Christ s eventual commendation? Luke 16: What do the cultural Christians say about this level of dedication? Why do you think they do this? How will you make changes in your life to live out the Great Comission? Witness Who is hurting in our church? Who has a need in our church? Who can you invite to your group? Who could use a word of encouragement? Redeem the time of ministry that God gives you each day!
