2 Mission in Rwanda For Christ and His Kingdom [Seven Day Mission reflections of Dr. Angulus D. Wilson] Operation Rwanda Day one Today the brothers and I set out for Africa. Our first stop was San Francisco. We are loaded down with luggage/gifts to give to the saints. We've had great fellowship, prayer, reflection and testimony to what God is doing. Operation Rwanda Day Two We have spend the entire day in the air or in airports. The team and I are tired it's been over 24 hours of different time zones that we have either driven in or flown over. We land in Amsterdam Europe in Few hours where we will have several hours of a layover. Then we will take our last 8 hr flight to Rwanda. I'm glad to be going home again. it's a beautiful country laced with pain and suffering. Getting to see Kilara again, Richard and Lady Goret is worth the trip. The Lord has been good to me, to give me family all the way across the globe. I look forward to seeing Evangelist Richards work and his new evangelism initiatives, and Kilara's Elementary school for children in Kigali. We will also establish a relationship with a new Pastors association in the City and in the Rural Province to provide seminary training for Reflections of the Day Page 2

3 leaders in the country.my prayers are for God to use us. Thank you lord for my brothers, please bless them in a special way. Lord give me some rest I'm really tired and can't sleep! Day 3 from Rwanda " We made it into town at 9:00 pm Sunday night...its Monday now and I Just finished the Assembly of God church in katombe Kigali... had to preach in the dark the electricity was out. Our host pastor was honored that we preached anyway...15 other pastoral leaders from the Katombe association were there, and supportive of efforts to serve them. It was a good congregation of the Lords people gathered In the house tonight! A beautiful church in the heart of the City, on a large piece of property with a Vision to expand and grow that they may serve others well. I bless God for this assignment I feel my help coming from the Lord. I preached from 1 Samuel 22:1- "A Savior for Keliah"... great response from all that shared with me. Day 4 From Rwanda Incredible break thru today! Just when I thought I have no more to give and believe that I'm at the end of my strength the lord shows up and blows my mind. The king David Academy had 700 students who were on fire for God! We inaugurated an evangelism club for students today that are committed to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. I preached to them about Davids victory over Goliath and how to get the victory over the Giants in their lives! I was so blessed. When I gave the invitation to salvation and prayer, that altar was filled with young people who desire to walk with him, and seek his power in their lives to Reflections of the Day Page 3

4 get victory over their giants that they face. The King David Academy is a boarding School for Students. it is well serviced, and has a great Director who has opened her heart to ABI and wants to entree into a covenant that will bless students with kingdom training. When we return (if the Lord delays his coming) we are invited to host the ABI conference here at the School. Praise God for open doors. After preaching at the academy I travelled into the neighborhoods of Kigali and got a good look at Rwanda-Inner City. We came to preach at the Katombe Ministry Association pastors meeting. There were 17 pastors committed in attendance, and all were committed to ABI for ministry training and we celebrated in the word and preached to them about the tragedy of loosing your cutting edge from 2 kings 4. They were thoroughly encouraged to not loose their edge in ministry. That evening we ended the session-conference preaching on the persecuted church from Acts 16:25 "At midnight Paul & Silas Prayed and sang Praises to God" It was a full house and ABI awarded certificates to 75 students who attended our 2 day seminar on ministry training in the local church. It was a Holy event and filled with joy and gratitude for the work of the Kingdom. [Today was a good day!] Day 5 From Rwanda [an incredible day!] We took gifts to the village, visited a baby church plant 2 years old. The faith church was filled with excitement. Pastor Jackson was more than happy to receive us. We each preached a short sermon and encouraged the church to love one another, honor the pastor and honor the church community. We handed out hundreds of clothes, and purchased bibles. All you could see was joy & thanksgiving on their faces...and there was Reflections of the Day Page 4

5 also some anxiety on the faces of some of the people because they are so poor and don't have much, unemployment is extremely high and poverty has them incarcerated. We tried to encourage them to have good relationships with others and not argue or fight over the gifts. They were very poor and very excited over our presents that we brought to them. Some cried, smiled and gave thanks. We prayed over the gifts taught them how to give their best to God and to one another. I'm exhausted now. Preaching my heart out, and giving them the best that I have-with every thing that I have. The drive was long...2 1/2 hours over broken roads, bridges, and steep mountains, But I bless God for His amazing strength and grace for giving me the opportunity to do anything for him. I'm reminded about the Apostle Paul and feel the same as the did about this great gospel..."i am the least of those who should have this position." [Amen] Day 6 The Day Spring Primary School Saving the best for Last is an over statement about our day to day. We fellowshipped with 300 primary grade students, we ate with their faculty and administration, watched their student presentations and dreamed of doing mission together in Rwanda. [Please see This school is no stranger to the work of the Lord,,they are a band of missionaries committed to reaching their neighbors for Christ. It is a public School with a vision for Christian education. While they are rich in the things of God, economically they are struggling and could use some partners to come along side and to help them to do the work of God. My classmate-brother is the founder, director and visionary for this ministry. Reflections of the Day Page 5

6 Kilara Oruni has done a great thing is following the will of God for this mission. Im looking forward to working with him through ABI to equip children for the Kingdom of God. Conclusion: The week has flown by us and we have tried our best to serve God with every ounce of strength. I want to thank Rev. Billings, Deacon Mcbee, and their wives for the support and the love that have shown Sharon and I for playing a part in this major renewal, relaunching, and re-invisioning of ABI in Rwanda. If Jesus doesn't return in the next 5 years we pray to focus our international work on the region with he worlds greatest church "New Beginnings Community Baptist ".
