1 July 22, 2018 Morning Prayer Service 8:00 a.m. Prelude Call to Worship Leader: Oh Lord, open my lips. People: And my mouth shall proclaim your praise. Leader: One thing I have asked of the Lord, this is what I seek: People: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life; ALL: To behold the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in his temple. Especially we thank you for opportunities for rest and recreation the regenerating gifts of the Holy Spirit activities shared by young and old fun and laughter every service that proclaims your love You make all things new, O God, and we offer our prayers for the renewal of the world and the healing of its wounds. Especially we pray for those who have no leisure people enslaved by addictions those who entertain and enlighten those confronted with temptation the church in North America... Once we are strengthened by your presence, raise us up to be shepherds ourselves who tend to those who fear and dismay so that our lives may reflect our Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ. Prayer of Confession (Unison) God of green pastures, we confess that we can get so busy and distracted that we lose sight of your love and care for us. 5 Announcements July 22 Flowers today are given by Joanie Kleckner in honor of 31 years of sobriety. Presbyterians in the Middle East Please join us after worship today in the Fellowship Hall to hear some positive news about Presbyterians in the Middle East. Nancy Fox of the Outreach Foundation will present a program about brothers and sisters living their faith in Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, and Iran. Coffee Fellowship in the Summer Join us in the Fellowship Hall before church at 9:00 a.m. and afterwards at 11:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome! Morning Prayer Service at 8:00-8:30 a.m. meets every Sunday in the summer through August, except there will be no service on August 12. Save the Date! PCCR golf day will be on Sunday, September 9 coordinated by the Mission and Outreach Committee. Traditional golf outing at 2:00 p.m. on the Lake Estes 9-hole course; miniature golf outing at 6:30 p.m. at the Estes Park Center-YMCA of the Rockies. Proceeds support two mission co-worker couples serving in Presbyterian World Mission. Nametags The Membership and Hospitality Committee would like to encourage the congregation to wear your nametags on Sunday mornings, if you have one, in an effort to make our visitors feel welcome and put a face to a name. Who knows? You may be the one to make someone choose to return to our church! If you do not have a nametag, please inform the church office. The plan in the near future is to update all the nametags with our new church logo. The Journeys Class meets Sundays at 8:15 in the Library, with class beginning at 8:30, through the end of July.
