October 2018 Accept the work of Christ at the cross The Lord is waiting for you. YOUR VICTORY IS YOUR FAITH (Isaiah 54:2/ Jeremiah 29:5-7/1 John 5:4) The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the God of the movement Mercredi en Montagne is waiting for you... He has introduced us into a season of multiplication and abundance and to live it you must manifest the faith, for YOUR VICTORY IS YOUR FAITH! «For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.» (1 John 5:4). Do you know that God loves you? By love for you and by pure grace, he has already accomplished all and he has given you everything: «All are yours; and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God» (1 Corinthians 3:23). He also says: «And in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority» (Colossians 2:10). What are you expecting from God again? Do not be ignorant beloved, do not wait for him to come again and do things in your life, all have already been done on the cross of Golgotha. Just believe and by faith, seize what he has done for you. THE LORD IS WAITING FOR YOU. Maybe you have not yet consecrated your life to Him, seize this opportunity, open your heart to him, receive Him in your life and act according to His will. Raise your voice and do this prayer with faith: «Lord Jesus-Christ, I need You, I open my heart to You. At Your feet, I drop my burdens and I allow You to take total control of my life. I ask you to forgive me for all my sins and by Your blood, purify me. I dispose myself to do Your will. Through Your Holy Spirit direct me in all Your ways, I abandon myself to You. Thank You for saving me. Amen!». If you have sincerely done this prayer and with faith, believe that your sins are wiped out, enter into action with the Lord, leave at His feet all your subjects of worries and receive with joy your glorious heritage as a CHILD OF GOD. If you are not yet a member of a local christian community, ask God to guide you to one of them in order to exercise your faith. Be blessed in the name of Jesus-Christ! 1
Accept the work of Christ at the cross October 2018 THE VISION MERCREDI EN MONTAGNE Mercredi en Montagne is a movement inspired by God for the restoration of lives and families. It is grouped in prayer cells. God's plan through this movement is to take a person into darkness, present Jesus Christ to him, follow him up so he may be transformed and manifest the character of Christ. His life becomes a testimony that favors the salvation of his loved ones (family, neighbor, colleague etc.) The particularity of this christian movement is that it works only around the Word of God. All dogmas and religious practices are not considered. It welcomes anyone, believer or not. Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, themes of edification are developed every month in a booklet that is multiplied and distributed for free and the Lord raises in his people a spirit of devotion and sacrifice for his glory; it is the reason why the edification meetings are held every Wednesday afternoon in the different prayer cells (Douala, Yaounde, Bafoussam, Bagangte, Bamendjou, Bangou, Ebolowa, Kribi, Garoua, Foumban and Longueuil in Canada). The booklets are also regularly distributed in Bertoua, Yagoua, Maroua, Foumbot etc. Anyone connected to this ministry must fast every Wednesday to commune with the group and pray. This program allows members to continue serving God in their different assemblies on Sunday morning and other days of the week. One of the goals is to reach all the cities of Cameroon and to continue the evangelization actions abroad with the christian booklets. The given teachings contribute to restore many families, couples, youths etc. Business leaders are won over to Christ and fear God in their activities. Intense prayer programs multiply throughout the year to raise true intercessors. To achieve its goals, the movement has a website and has developed an application MEM to facilitate access to messages. A printing unit is already operating to produce the maximum number of booklets per month. The vision still has a way; it progresses according to this instruction from the Lord: «Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities» (Isaiah 54: 2-3). Praise the Lord! 2
October 2018 Accept the work of Christ at the cross PROGRAMME: EVERY WEDNESDAY 05 A.M 06 A.M Morning devotion (Praise, worship, prayer, meditation) 01 P.M Bible reading and prayer 06 P.M Closing prayer and end of the fasting A great union of prayer (each person in his corner) is constituted every Wednesday. Fasting without neither drinking nor eating, is observed from 00 am to 6 pm. Note: From Monday prepare yourself in prayer for the fasting. MAKING A CHOICE ABOU T DELICATE QUESTIONS Each of us makes many decisions every day. Most are morally neutral: the clothes to wear or what we are going to eat. But we always have more important choices to make. We do not want to be mistaken or incite others to sin. How to make such decisions? Here are some questions to ask ourselves: Does my decision support the testimony for Christ? (1 Corinthians 9: 19-22) Is it motivated by the desire to help others know Christ? (1 Corinthians 9: 23 and 10:33) Does it help me to give the best of myself? (1 Corinthians 9:25) Does it go against a specific command of the Bible and lead me to sin? (1 Corinthians 10:12) Is it the best choice? (1 Corinthians 10: 23 and 33) Does it reflect a selfish concern or the concern for the interests of others? (1 Corinthians 10:24) Is it inspired by love or by a personal interest? (1 Corinthians 10: 28-31) Does it give glory to God? (1 Corinthians 10:31) Is there a risk of inciting someone to sin? (1 Corinthians 10:32) NB: This exhortation is taken from the Bible Louis Second 21 version (page 1799) Other biblical excerpts are taken from New International Version (NIV). 3
Accept the work of Christ at the cross October 2018 KEY MESSAGE OF THE MONTH Accept the work of Christ at the cross Life in Christ begins with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. That's why it's important that you understand and accept what happened and changed the life of human beings. This will help you make a new start and live the new life that the Father offers to his children: «When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins» (Colossians 2 :13). At the cross of Golgotha, Jesus Christ made possible your deliverance from sin and the renewal of your whole being; all glory is his. 7 October 2018 Accept the work of Christ at the cross WEDNESDAY, 03 OCTOBER 2018 THE WORK OF CHRIST AT THE CROSS Jesus Christ is my savior! You hear this statement from the mouths of many believers and you too have often said it. Yes, he is the savior of the world! Jesus Christ did not become the savior of the world by election or by a simple declaration of God the Father, but he agreed to pay the price of salvation: His own life! «You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation» (Revelation 5: 9) Yes, Jesus Christ was put to death to redeem you because the devil had corrupted you and removed you from God. You had become unknowingly an instrument in his hands to fulfill his will. Spiritually, although alive, you were dead. That's why you could lie, steal, juggle, slander, bewitch, in short, commit all kinds of evil. But, glory be given to God because Jesus Christ redeemed you! He took your place at the cross to save you from all these curses: «When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins» (Colossians 2:13). What happened at the cross of Golgotha (which in Hebrew means The Place of the Skull)? The body of Jesus Christ was sacrificed, He was pierced on the side: «Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water» (John 19:34). Note three important facts: Golgotha (place of skull, place of sacrifice), pierced (torn to create a passage, direct access to God the Father is now open), blood and water came out of his body. The sacrifice was perfect! You no longer need to sacrifice animals and shed their blood on the skulls of ancestors to wipe away your sins or to cancel any curse on your life as the Jews used to do or as many African tribes still do today; just accept the work of Christ on the cross. His pierced rib let the blood flow which blots out all your sins and the water that symbolizes the Word of God cleanses you from all impurity: «He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption» (Hebrews 9:12). It is also a proof that God has forgiven you by blotting out all your sins. ALL THE EVIL 5
Accept the work of Christ at the cross October 2018 DEEDS THAT CONDEMNED YOU WERE NAILED TO THE CROSS: «having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross» (Colossians 2:14) Wow! Jesus Christ performed on the cross of Golgotha FORGIVENESS, TRUE LOVE AND THE DELIVERANCE OF HUMANITY FROM SIN, EVIL AND HELL. Indeed, he who was perfect, who drew crowds, took on all of your sins and those of all humanity (your adulteries, your infidelities, your lies, your drugs, your sorceries, your idolatries, your cheats, your abortions, your prostitution, your thefts etc.) and crucified them: «God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.»(2 Corinthians 5:21). It is therefore the body of sin that has been destroyed on the cross. These sins that made him ugly and disgusting: «He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him» (Isaiah 53: 2b). Sin makes ugly, spiritually and physically, Christ accepted this ugliness so that you become beautiful. Jesus Christ carried your cross. Yes, the cross that weighed on his shoulder represents the heavy weight of your relationship with God the Father and with your neighbor. This relationship must be of great value to you and must remain upright, functional: «Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, Love your neighbor as yourself» (Luke 10: 27b). Jesus Christ bore the burden of love and made possible love for God and for men. Both are important: «Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen» (1 John 4:20). Accept the work of Christ at the cross and live your divine nature. Prayer: Thank you Lord for this painful and wonderful work of redemption and salvation of humanity, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. 9 October 2018 Accept the work of Christ at the cross WEDNESDAY, 10 OCTOBER 2018 REVELATIONS OF THE WORK OF CHRIST AT THE CROSS The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple» (Psalm 119: 130). The revelation of the work of Christ at the cross illuminates and reassures, it inspires trust in God and promotes intimacy with God. «But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins, because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased ; then I said, Here I am--it is written about me in the scroll--i have come to do your will, O God» (Hebrews 10: 3-7). Yes, performing rituals each year to receive forgiveness of sins is null and void. It is thus impossible that the blood of an animal (subject to Man) takes away the sin of Man. Only the body of a holy Man can be given in exchange (in sacrifice) for the body of another man defiled by sin because they are of the same nature and thus to definitively take away his sins. It's like trying every time to clean a phone that has viruses and the same viruses come back to break it down, you better get rid of it and change it by another phone. That's why Jesus Christ became a Man to give His holy body in exchange for the body of Man stained by sin. He said: you prepared a body for me... Here I am...it is written about me...to do your will. The mission of Jesus Christ on earth is clear: God formed a body for the ultimate sacrifice that definitively annuls all other animal sacrifices and puts an end to the power of sin. On the cross of Golgotha, the body of Christ hanged took on the sins of men. He took away from each body their sins and laid them on his own body which was originally holy: «Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.» (Isaiah 53: 4). Yes, he took away sin and all curses that it brought in your life and in the life of your offspring, and carried them on him: He discharged you to take charge. He took away your old man and put him on the cross: «So let us understand that the man we were before (old man) was crucified with Christ so that sin in his strength is reduced to helplessness and we no longer serve sin as slaves. For the one who is dead has been declared righteous: he has no longer to give account for sin» 7
Accept the work of Christ at the cross October 2018 (Romans 6: 6-7). Concretely, the body of sin, your old man, your sinful nature has already been crucified. The body of sin found in Jesus Christ on the cross of Golgotha, represents the veil that stood between God and you: «Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God (have put a veil between you and God); your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear» (Isaiah 59: 1-2). It was therefore necessary that this veil (the body of Jesus Christ charged with your sins) be torn so that you would be delivered; that you have access to the Father by piercing the side of Jesus Christ: «Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water» (John 19: 34). The veil of the temple (the body of Jesus) was torn apart (Matthew 27:51). The blood shed has cleansed you of your sins and has blotted out all curses on your life. Remember the blood that Moses recommended to the Israelites to sprinkle on the lintels of doors so that the angel of death would not strike in their houses: «Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt» (Exodus 12: 7 and 13). It prefigured the blood of Jesus that was sprinkled at the cross of Golgotha on whoever believes and cancels all forms of curses. Glory to God! The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses the robber, the crook, the prostitute, the liar, the slanderer, the proud, the thief, etc. you just need to believe and accept it. Water also came out of Jesus side, it is the Word which is henceforth accessible to all: «Thus, there are three witnesses: The Spirit, the water and the blood» (1 John 5: 7-8a). Three elements that bear witness of the action of Christ on the cross. Be no longer ignorant about sin, Christ has delivered you. Prayer: Glory be to God for these revelations that enlighten me. I am no longer a slave to sin in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen! 11 October 2018 Accept the work of Christ at the cross WEDNESDAY, 17 OCTOBER 2018 THE PURPOSE OF THE WORK OF CHRIST AT THE CROSS Jesus Christ did not go to the cross for you to lament and to perform every year ceremonies of his mourning (On Good Friday, you wear the black, you do novenas, you put ashes on your forehead, you organize his funeral etc.). What good is it for you to remember the death of Jesus Christ and to lament if your own life does not change? What good will it be for you to mourn a loved one and walk in sadness if his life does not teach you? Laments are sources of sadness, sorrow, and for what? God does not want you to be sad: he said, «Be joyful always» (1 Thessalonians 5:16). The Christian who mourns Jesus Christ has not understood the power of this salutary work for his own life and the love of God. That's why Jesus Christ said, «Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children» (Luke 23:28b). Jesus Christ gives you this instruction: Weep no more because of my suffering on the cross, but weep for the sin and curse that weigh upon your life and your family; weep over your descendants who are cursed because of your sins; cry and be aware of the disastrous situation of your family (the chains of curse that exist, the children do not get married, activities do not prosper, diseases are transmitted from father to son, divorces multiply, alcoholism is transmitted from generation to generation, etc.) Jesus Christ draws the attention of Men to their own situation and that of their children in order to incite them to repent. Yes, He wants you to realize the pain he suffered because of you, the suffering he endured for you, the great love he showed for you to be delivered from your sins. He wants you to believe and to accept this powerful work in order to receive your deliverance. Your tears will never deliver you from sin, only your awareness of the harm that Christ endured because of your sins and your decision to change will be salutary for you: «When he came to his senses, he said, How many of my father s hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired men» (Luke 15:17-19). The prodigal son did it; God is waiting for you to do the same for your own life. Be aware of your sinful life and the spiritual misery in which 9
Accept the work of Christ at the cross October 2018 you are plunged and decide to return to God the Father for Him to give you a new start. Whatever the extent of your sin, get up like Bartimaeus, make the leap to Jesus Christ and drop your dirty old coat. People may discourage you but do not give in, take the leap forward to Jesus Christ, the saving leap: «a blind man, Bartimaeus (that is, the Son of Timaeus), was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me! Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, Son of David, have mercy on me! Jesus stopped and said, Call him. So they called to the blind man, Cheer up! On your feet! He s calling you. Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus» (Mark 10:46b-50). The Lord is patient with you, but do not abuse it. Be aware of your sinful nature and get up, make the leap to Jesus Christ and abandon sin. The main purpose of the cross is: THE DELIVERANCE OF HUMANITY FROM SIN: «For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life» (John 3:16). If you happen to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, look at your own life and ask yourself this question: Was this great sacrifice worth doing when we look at my life today? If you understand and accept the work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Golgotha, you will worship and praise Him with all your heart because He did for you what no creature in heaven can do for you. He proved his love for you by giving himself as a sacrifice for you. The cross of Jesus Christ must therefore immerse you in worship and thanksgiving. It must raise in you the desire to live an intimate relationship full of joy with God. Accept that Jesus Christ gave Himself for you and receive your deliverance Prayer: Father, I give you thanks for the work of Christ on the cross for me. I accept it and I receive my deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. 13 October 2018 Accept the work of Christ at the cross WEDNESDAY, 24 OCTOBER 2018 RECEIVE THE LOVE OF GOD, RECEIVE YOUR DELIVERANCE T o have the revelation of the work of Christ at the cross is a very good thing, to grasp it is another and to receive one s deliverance is the goal. You now know the depth of the act that Jesus Christ performed on the cross of Golgotha; how do you behave about your sins? How do you see your life now? You know now that God loves you, have you received his love? Do you live the love of God like a bride who has just discovered her future husband? Does the love of God burn in you? Are you really united to Christ? Beloved, all these questions can be summed up in one: Have you grasped the revelation? How to grasp the revelation? «In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus» (Romans 6:11). To grasp the revelation is to consider that you are now what God said and to see that your life is now what God did for you. God said that your sins are forgiven, do not feel guilty anymore, do not see yourself as a poor sinner anymore: «Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus» (Romans 8:1). From now on, if people insult you, remind you of your old life, condemn you for your sins, consider what God says: 'there is no longer any condemnation for those who are united to Christ' and remain in joy. God said that sin and its strength are reduced to helplessness: «So let us understand that the man we were before (old man) was crucified with Christ so that sin in his strength is reduced to helplessness and we no longer serve sin as slaves» (Romans 6:6). So if any sin wants to return to your body to make you a slave again, remind it that it lost its power. Speak to the sin that tempts you and keep it at the cross where it is now. If your old man with his bad habits (anger, non-self-control, pride, magic, masturbation, etc.) wants to resurrect and make you believe that you have not changed, remind him that he was crucified on the cross of Golgotha and he is destroyed, you will see that his lie will have no effect on you. God said that you are now blessed because of your obedience: «But showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep 11
Accept the work of Christ at the cross October 2018 my commandments» (Exodus 20:6). See your life filled with blessings, consider your offspring already blessed and even if you face difficulties, it does not cancel your blessings. Stop positioning yourself under the family curse by declaring for example, 'in our family, we are diabetic, adulterous, etc.'. God has brought you out of this curse: believe that it will no longer have effect on your life, even on that of your children. If in your family there are divorces, acknowledge that you with all your descendants have come out of this generational curse. God said that he disarmed Satan and he gained victory over all his agents: «And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross» (Colossians 2:15). You have power over Satan because Jesus Christ disarmed and humiliated him. See yourself victorious over all the agents of the enemy. Consider your life victorious over all attacks of the enemy. God said that he strongly loved the world, Jesus Christ showed you a very great love: «For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life» (John 3:16). Consider the love of God and be happy. Do not say that no one loves you, believe that God loves you and be happy. Accept the work of Christ at the cross, receive the love of God, receive your deliverance by faith in the name of Jesus Christ! You must live your new life in Christ. Unite with Christ and just believe. Accept the work of Christ at the cross, recognize that it is your body of sin, your old man that remained crucified on the cross. Receive the love of God, receive your deliverance. The Lord is waiting for you! Prayer: Father, be blessed for the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, I am henceforth free from all sins in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. I invoke the fire of the Holy Spirit to consume any point of contact between a member of my family and the world of darkness in the name of Jesus. 5. I overthrow any satanic altar present in our houses, villages, and sacred places in the name of Jesus Christ, and I bind every spirit contrary to the Holy Spirit. Saturdays: Prayer for Cameroon and the world 1. (Proclaim Psalm 68: 5-13) I give thanks to God for Cameroon, the life of the rulers and the peace that reigns there. 2. In this electoral year, I invoke the Holy Spirit to reach out to all citizens so that peace will come from the bottom of hearts and the troubled areas will regain their serenity. 3. I block the path to any satanic project that aims to steal and kill souls precociously and I overthrow all evil power that wants to prevent the spread of the gospel in Cameroon and in the world, in the name of Jesus Christ. 4. I break down all the fortresses of Satan installed through demonic lodges and contracts that still keep souls in captivity in our country and I proclaim their liberation in the name of Jesus Christ. All Sundays: Prayer for the Body of Christ 1. (Proclaim Psalm 8) I give thanks to God for the Body of Christ, for the Christian assemblies I attend, for all other assemblies, whatever their denomination. 2. I rise against every form of division in the Body of Christ and against all false doctrines, every satanic altar, every false gospel in the churches, in the name of Jesus Christ. 3. I declare that the Body of Christ is led by the Spirit of God, and that all show the fruit of the Spirit, that we all love God with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our mind; that we love our neighbor as ourselves. 16
October 2018 Accept the work of Christ at the cross GOOD TO KNOW 2018 CONVENTION: POSSESS VICTORY BY FAITH (END) 2-The great or the strong faith: This type of faith comes from God himself and is based on the knowledge of Christ, your daily exercise of faith, as a muscle that develops itself through sports exercise. It is developed by your desire to let the Holy Spirit act. «When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel» (Luke 7 :9). This man understood the authority and the power of the word, he recognized it in Jesus Christ. This faith confesses positive words and firmly believes. «They said to Joshua, The Lord has surely given the whole land into our hands; all the people are melting in fear because of us» (Joshua 2:24). It stands firm, it perseveres «You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised» (Hebrews 10:36). The Lord expects from you a determination to manifest His word. It s not because it has not succeeded at the first or the second try that it will not work! Persevere, believe, meditate on his Word; above all, exercise your faith constantly: «Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.» (1 Corinthians 15:58) C) T HE FA I TH THA T B R ING S F OR T H VI CT O RY Whatever the size of your faith, it must have solid foundations: The Word of God and the revelation of God. 1- Faith based on the Word of God: It IS WRITTEN The Lord wants you to believe, and to be convinced that what he says is true. It is this faith that brought you into salvation. Yes, you listened to his Word and you accepted it, you opened your heart to him and you became his child: «Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God Children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband s will, but born of God» (John 1:12-13). He wants you to believe in what is written. For example, it is written: «The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.» (Psalm 34:7), you must believe that you 17
Accept the work of Christ at the cross October 2018 are guarded by an angel. It is written: «And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.» (Matthew 28:20b), believe that God is with you whatever the situation you are going through. The Bible gathers many promises of God; to believe that it is true and to be able to say with conviction 'IT IS WRITTEN, is to manifest the first level of faith. Jesus Christ defeated the devil in the desert with this Word: IT IS WRITTEN. 2- Faith based on the revelation of God: IT HAS BEEN REVEALED TO ME This level of faith requires an intimate relationship with God. When you meditate on the Word, He gives you a precise instruction on a specific situation. This is the case of Abraham to whom God said clearly: «As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations.» (Genesis 17:4), Abraham is barren and old, God gives him this revelation. He seized it, considered it, kept it in spite of all the human barriers and it was fulfilled: «Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, So shall your offspring be. Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old and that Sarah s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why it was credited to him as righteousness» (Romans 4:18-22). That is the second level of faith; it is more demanding in terms of determination, patience, and perseverance! It is God who triggers this level of faith. In his sovereignty, he decides to show you his glorious plan for your life, he makes every effort for you to understand (through visions or people around you). You realize that you endure all that follows this revelation (trials, adversity, etc.); when you want to weaken He relieves you and you keep the joy. That s what he did with Joseph, Abraham. God creates circumstances in your life to remind you of the revelation and show you that you re tending to the goal. He raises testimonies to convince you of your glorious end and encourage you to persevere. The revelation should be of no error or confusion. In this level of faith, God allows difficult situations to happen to you (a sickness that lasts, a long time of unemployment or long financial crises, divorce, rejection, accident or even the loss of a loved one etc.) because he 18
October 2018 Accept the work of Christ at the cross wants to use you to create impact and convert a lot of people. You will then go through moments when you will have the impression that his Word does not act; it is the process through which you must pass so that the glory of God may shine in your life. Consequently, in your intimacy with God, he will reveal his plan for you to move forward. He wanted to create an impact in Bethany through the case of Lazarus and he let him die and rot in the grave. Before Lazarus situation became dramatic, he had already revealed his plan: «When he heard this, Jesus said, This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God s glory so that God s Son may be glorified through it.» (John 11:4). Then, in the verses that followed he said, «Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going there to wake him up» (John 11:11). He wanted to say this: 'Even if Lazarus' sickness is complicated until he dies, I, Jesus Christ, have foreseen something, glorify God through his case'. It was just up to the men who had announced the news of Lazarus sickness and to Martha and Mary his sisters to believe. In the same way, for your case my brother, my sister, what God has told you in secret, what he has planned to do, even if you happen to see the opposite, manifest the great faith and you will see the glory of God: «Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?» (John 11:40). For each situation, ask the Lord to reveal his will and do not force revelation. The disciples met a man blind from birth and they questioned Jesus Christ about his case; here is the revelation: «Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life» (John 9:3). In other words, God let him be born blind so that his healing testimony would touch hearts and lead them to salvation. God no longer wants our faith to be groundless: it must be supported by a Word revealed by God to avoid discouragement. Some people interrupted treatments by faith, but without revelation. For some, it was following a testimony that touched them; for others it was based on a dream, but they did not receive a specific instruction from the Lord and it was a chaos and even a counter-testimony. Many have acted without waiting for God's answer, indeed they relied on Bible verses, but they did not receive a specific instruction for their case precisely and they have been disappointed. God wants you to go to the second level of faith so that 19
Accept the work of Christ at the cross October 2018 his name might be lifted even higher in your life and there might no more be confusion. This level of faith brings forth great victories for the glory of God. It also gives you strength and courage to endure afflictions, hard times, and wait patiently for fulfillment. It makes you a reference person, a model of faith.
