1 Sunday, November 25, 2018 November is American Diabetes Month, Alzheimer's Awareness Month and National Caregiver's Month. 1 Corinthians 3:17 says, If anyone destroys God s temple, God will destroy him. The Ministry Advisory Council (MAC) is sponsoring a Mandated Reporter Training offered by the Children s Law Center of the University of South Carolina s School of Law on Monday, December 3rd, 2018, beginning 6:00 PM 7:30 PM at the TECCC. All adult ministry workers/volunteers (for the purpose of this training 18 years or older) that work with children and youth ministries are required to attend, to include but not limited to: Licensed/Ordained Preachers of the Gospel, Children s Church, Nursery, Youth Council, Young Women on a Mission, Boyz 2 Men Mentoring, Sunday School Teachers, Bible Study Teachers, Music Ministry, VBS workers, Praise Dancers, Mimers and Ushers. This training is designed to provide information that will help us safeguard the welfare and safety of children according to the Child Protection Act of This training is mandatory and highlights your legal duty to report child abuse and neglect. There will be a Christmas Fellowship Committee meeting on Monday, November 26 th 5:30PM in the TECCC Conference Room. We are asking all interested person to be in at this meeting. at Mr. Roosevelt McLamore will be facilitating a meeting on Tuesday, November 27 th at 6:30PM about Social Media and Communications. We are asking all members interested to please be in attendance at this meeting. The Hour of Power: Praise and Preaching will be on Wednesday, November 28 th. Rev. Vernette Dees will be delivering the Word. We are asking for the Praise Team to be in place at 6PM for Praise and Worship. We are asking all members to come out for the one hour service. The Decoration Committee will meet on Thursday, November 29 th Sanctuary. If you have any questions, please see Rev. Andrew Sansbury. at 6PM here in the The Singles Ministry will have its Christmas Fellowship on Friday, December 7 th from 6PM- 8:30PM in Room 17 of TECCC. If you have any questions for details, please see Doris Douglas or you can see her in the vestibule on the 1 st Sunday after service. Christmas Cantata rehearsals will be held on December 4 th, 11 th, and 13 th at 6:30PM. If you would like to sing on the Christmas Cantata Choir, please be in attendance at these rehearsals. Mr. Domino Boulware, the 1 st Black Male to be inducted into the South Carolina Tennis Association Hall of Fame, will be honored at the Eau Claire Print Building on Sunday, December 9 th, deemed as Domino Day at 6PM. Althea Gibson, a native of Silver in Clarendon County, was the 1st Black Female to ever be inducted in the South Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame. This makes it all the more an honor for Mr. Boulware. 2 Announcements Continued Tis the Season of Love and Fellowship! Trinity's Christmas Fellowship will be held Friday, December 14, Doors open at 6:30 PM and fellowship begins at 7:00 PM. Tickets for this event are $10.00 (Ages 12 & up) and $5.00 (Ages 5-11). Tickets sales begin immediately following Worship Service in the vestibule. In addition, all are encouraged to come out for Games Day w/cookies & Hot Cocoa on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM. We look forward to seeing each of there!
