Jesus, September 15, 1999 This topical study is a fruit of the Confraternity of the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary and can be viewed and printed from the website: United Hearts of Jesus and Mary means the mystical union of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary that began at the moment of Jesus conception, never to be parted. The Confraternity of the United Hearts promotes a journey of sanctification through devotion to the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary. MT 5:48 THE CHAMBERS OF THE UNITED HEARTS OF THE HOLY TRINITY AND IMMACULATE MARY The Door to Each Chamber is Deeper Surrender to Love - the Divine Will The first Constitution of the Confraternity of the United Hearts was drafted in the Fall of 1999 by Archbishop Gabriel Gonsum Ganaka of the Catholic Archdiocese of Jos, Nigeria and, at the request of Our Lady, it was officially inaugurated in the Catholic Church on the Feast of the Annunciation, March 25, 2000, by the Apostolic Administrator of the Archbishop s diocese. About the Founder of the Confraternity Archbishop Gabriel Ganaka ( ) His Grace, the Late Most Rev. (Dr.) Gabriel Gonsum Ganaka of thecatholic Archdiocese of Jos, Nigeria, founded the Confraternity of the United Hearts shortly before his death in He was a native of Plateau State, Nigeria. Archbishop Ganaka occupied important positions both within and outside this Archdiocese, including: Appointed a member of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples by Pope Paul VI Appointed to the Canon Law Review Commission and the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue by Pope John Paul II. Served as President of both the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria and the Symposium of Episcopal Conference of Africa and Madagascar (SECAM). He was a leader and representative to many international pastoral events, including the World Day of Prayer for Peace and the Millennium of Christianity. The Archbishop was known by all for his loving pastoral approach to his flock, his innovative evangelization which impacted the Church at large, and his role as the Charismatic Renewal leader in all of Nigeria. 4 Preface Continued In 1997, the Archbishop became acutely ill and was flown to the United States for medical treatment. One of his flock came to Maranatha Spring and Shrine, the home of Holy Love Ministries, to seek Our Lady s intercession and subsequently introduced him to Holy Love Ministries and the all-important messages of Holy and Divine Love. His Foreword graces the pages of the book Holy and Divine Love: The Remedy and Triumph. Archbishop Ganaka established the Confraternity of the United Hearts, with the international headquarters in Nigeria. He wrote the Constitution for the Confraternity before his death on November 11, 1999, exactly three months to the day from when he introduced the visionary and other Missionary Servants of Holy Love to Pope John Paul II. On the joyful occasion of the visit by the visionary, Maureen Sweeney- Kyle, with the Holy Father in August of Her husband, Don (lower right), the Late Archbishop Gabriel Ganaka (top left), and Rev. Frank Kenney, her Spiritual Director ( ) (top center), accompanied her on the visit. What is Truth? March 25, 2002 Truth and Humility St. Thomas Aquinas comes. He says: Praise be to Jesus. Understand that truth strips the soul of all pretense and sanctimony. Truth allows the soul to see himself as he stands before God. That is humility itself. Each one should pray for this grace daily. Never be puffed up--thinking yourself to be holy. That is one of Satan s lies. March 31, 2002 Courage and Challenge I am your Jesus, born Incarnate. Alleluia! I have come to bring you truth. Each wound I bore for you and for all sinners was the truth of man s cooperation with evil. The empty tomb is the truth of My power over evil and the redemption of mankind. Truth challenges the soul just as the message of Holy and Divine Love challenges each one to increase in holiness--to change evil to good--to bring light into darkness. The first apostles were challenged to deeper faith when they were told of the resurrection. Today I, the Risen Lord, challenge the world to live the message of Holy Love--the truth. Jesus: I am your Jesus, born Incarnate. My brothers and sisters, humility is the hand that turns the key in the lock that opens the door to the First Chamber of Our United Hearts. It is humility that strips away all pretense and reveals truth. It is humility who gives true self-knowledge. Therefore, rather than to pray for great gifts and even greater missions, making yourself important in the eyes of people, My children should be praying for humility. 5 What is Truth? Continued April 17, 2003 Conviction, Tradition I am your Jesus, born Incarnate. Once again, I come to you to speak only the truth. Solemnly I tell you, those who do not embrace the truth are convicted by the truth. Those who do not live in Holy Love are convicted by Holy Love. To those who consider themselves Catholic, the truth is the Tradition of Faith as handed down through the ages and through John Paul II. Catholics need to be familiar with Catholic tradition so that they do not fall victim to compromise. The faith is all-embracing and must not be compromised by gender identification crisis. For Catholics, the truth is served by frequent reception of the sacraments with hearts of faith and love. The truth is your faith which is given over to the protection of My Mother s Immaculate Heart. These days many attempt to compose their own truth. I tell you, where faith is concerned, you cannot replace the Holy Trinity with false gods. Do not make false gods of your opinions, but turn your hearts to Heaven and come to Me. Your peace is always temporary unless you have trustfully surrendered everything to Me. Love Me as I love you. November 3, 2003 Truth is Humility St. Martin de Porres comes. He says: Praise be to Jesus. I have come that you might see--the reason the Church and the Tradition of Faith are in crisis today is that souls do not allow the truth to penetrate their hearts. The truth is humility. It is not a false humility that exists only on the surface, but it is all consuming and convicting. December 29, 2003 Humility I am your Jesus, born Incarnate. It is important that you understand it is only through humility that truth can come to light. Humility is truth. The humble heart knows where he stands before God. In him there is no guile, envy or selfaggrandizement. He aspires to nothing except to love God and neighbor. In this way it is the humble soul that enters the kingdom ahead of the self-important. May 21, 2004 Free Will and Misunderstanding I am your Jesus, born Incarnate. I have come to help you understand these things. The truth always exists and is always an alternative to falsehood, rash judgments and detraction. It remains for people to search for the truth and not to embrace the lies which oppose it. No one can force another to accept the truth. This must come as a movement of their free will. When the truth is challenged, it does not mean that it does not exist--only that it is misunderstood. Take heart in this. May 22, 2004 Truth is the Standard St. Thomas Aquinas comes. He says: Praise be to Jesus. Let me explain this to you. The truth is a constant against which all other hypotheses are weighed and measured. The truth does not change or disappear because it is challenged. Indeed, every challenge serves to strengthen the truth. The truth can be defined and expounded upon in many ways, but it is unchanging. Those who compromise the truth listen to Satan who is the father of lies. Compromise is an attempt to re-shape the truth according to personal agenda. The truth cannot be changed to meet personal ambitions. Rather, hearts must be molded in the truth. May 26, 2006 Truth, the Weapon St. Michael is here and says: Praise be to Jesus. Tonight, my brothers and sisters, I have come especially to invite each of you to become warriors of truth. Truth is the only weapon that is not in Satan s arsenal. My brothers and sisters, tonight I have come to you, asking you to become apostles of truth. Truth is comprised of Holy Humility and Holy Love, for without these, God s Will is not accomplished. Truth is God s Holy and Divine Will. You must spread these Messages wherever possible, for it is in this way Satan s lies will be dispelled. Tonight I m blessing you with My Blessing of Divine Love. I come to help you understand the importance of truth. Truth is the beginning of every conversion. It is only when the soul realizes the true state of his soul that change can be effective. Acceptance of the truth is the beginning. Ongoing conversion is the result of perseverance in Holy Love, which is truth. Opposition to Truth January 29, 2001 Satan s Lies Jesus and Blessed Mother are here with Their Hearts exposed. Blessed Mother says: Praise be to Jesus. Jesus: I am your Jesus, born Incarnate. My brothers and sisters, the path of your surrender is strewn with obstacles-- obstacles that Satan would like you to trip over. Understand that humility is truth. Satan would like you to trip upon his lies, so that you cannot find the way to peaceful surrender to My Sacred Heart. If you use Holy Love as the maxim of all truth, these ensnarements will be made noticeable to you. Hearts that are afraid of the truth--afraid to proclaim it- -are already compromised. Hearts that deny the truth are in league with Satan himself. Always allow truth to be your breastplate of armor, for when you stand for the truth all of Heaven is on your side. Understand it is pride that allows truth to be compromised. Pride makes compromise appear reasonable. Humility is truth. Humility views all things as they stand before God. Never be afraid to reveal the light of truth in its entirety, for this effort bears good fruit. Tonight we extend to you the Blessing of Our United Hearts. January 2, 2004 Compromise through Fear and Pride St. Thomas Aquinas comes and says: Praise be to Jesus. Understand that truth which is not proclaimed does not serve its purpose. Truth is the weapon against all compromise and injustice. Truth is what brings evil out of the cover of darkness into the light. February 9, 2004 Every Sin is Committed Through Compromise Jesus and Blessed Mother are here with Their Hearts exposed. Blessed Mother says: Praise be to Jesus. Jesus: I am your Jesus, born Incarnate. My brothers and sisters, tonight I have come to warn you against compromise. Compromise undermines the very nature of truth. It is through compromise every sin is committed; every flaw in Holy Love is made to seem reasonable. March 22, 2006 Self Love St. Thomas Aquinas comes and says: Praise be to Jesus. I have come to tell you that Satan plants the seeds of his lies always in the fertile soil of inordinate self-love. So then, understand it is this disordered self-love which accepts compromise and convoluted truth. You can see this very much in those who are content only with their own opinions and will not listen to the truth based on Holy Love. people respect the rights of others in Holy Love, not even the right to live. Compromise has taken the place of truth. Reality is clouded by deceit. This is why I come here with these Messages--to prescribe to you the way of truth and your salvation--holy and Divine Love. Only in Holy and Divine Love can true unity and lasting peace come. December 12, 2007 Self-Righteous Arrogance Blessed Mother is here as Our Lady of Guadalupe. She says: Praise be to Jesus. August 6, 2006 Intellectual Pride St. John Vianney says: Praise be to Jesus. Today I have come to help you realize just why intellectual pride is an attitude that holds souls in Purgatory for so long. This type of pride leads people to believe more in themselves and their own opinions than in the Holy Spirit who is Truth itself. Intellectual pride results in false discernment, rash judgment, liberal theology and an obtuse spirit in examining their own conscience. Every heresy throughout history has been the product of intellectual pride. This type of pride leads the soul to believe he is always right--everyone who opposes him is wrong. In this same way, he closes himself off from constructive criticism. Souls, in humility, must realize that all intellect comes from God alone, and is only lent to the person as a grace to be used for the greater honor and glory of God. It is so with any gift or talent. How foolish to consider it otherwise. When the soul believes too much in himself, he begins to use what God has given him towards his own selfdestruction. January 28, 2007 Disunity I am your Jesus, born Incarnate. I tell you solemnly, departure from the truth bears the fruit of disunity--the truth being Holy Love upon which all moral decisions must be based. You can see how the evil one has influenced every culture to his advantage. No longer do Tonight, dear children, I, your Heavenly Mother, call you to live in peace-the peace that proceeds from Holy Love, for this is why God created you. No longer seek a path apart from the Father s Divine Will. The evil one tempts you to trust in your own intellect. He wants to destroy not only your souls, but all that God has created or ever will create. You must be warriors of love. We must win hearts in order to win this war. The enemy knows well each heart and how best to lead the soul away from the path of Holy Love. That is why, My children, you must wrap your hearts in My Rosary, in many sacrifices and penance. These are your defense, without which you are easy prey for Satan s wiles. My children, tonight I have come to ask the world to give pause to the ways in which the generosity of God the Father is being put to the test. In the Father s Infinite Love for all of humanity, He has passed many graces through My Immaculate Heart into the world-not the least of which are the Heavenly visits here at this Site and the Messages given. Much, much of what God gives falls into the hands of Satan as he convolutes good to appear evil, and uses technology towards his own evil designs. A deadly spirit has grasped the heart of the world-that of self-righteous arrogance. This evil spirit fills the human heart with unwarranted self-importance and an air of always knowing the truth. But much of what the world perceives as truth is really Satan s lies. Because decisions regarding what the Father gives are not formed in Holy Love, much of what He has given will bring destruction instead of prosperity. 8 Opposition to Truth Continued You cannot read these Messages that are revealing to you the path into the Divine Will and then seek the destruction of the Mission itself. You cannot be inspired with modern technology and then use it to destroy the life God gives. These things lead to the destruction of a great number of souls. I am not speaking of lives in human terms, but of eternal souls. Be forewarned! When I speak of a soul s destruction, I do not refer to the soul s annihilation. I speak of the soul s complete ruin before the Judgment Seat of Christ s Divine Love; for all truth and all salvation is in Divine Love. Do not allow the forces of evil to tell you otherwise. Dear children, many of you come here searching for the miraculous-the spectacular. Realize that each present moment is miraculous and spectacular. Each present moment holds the opportunity for your salvation, your holiness, and even your sanctification. Each present moment is filled with the grace of My Immaculate Heart. Each present moment offers you the opportunity to overcome darkness and step into the light. Tonight, My dear little children, I invite you to let God be at the center of your hearts, for He cannot be victorious in the heart of the world until He is victorious in every heart. Let everything you think, say or do, flow from a love of God. Be united in this love and no longer be indifferent towards the graces given to you in each present moment. Forgive the ones who oppose you. God exacts His Own Justice, which is perfect in its timeliness and prosecution. Do not allow Satan to confuse you as to what you must do and what should be surrendered to God s Divine intervention. Be at peace. Peace is a sign of Christ s Presence within you. Peace flows from Holy Love. Dear children, I desire to be part of your every present moment. I desire to help you choose your own salvation, holiness and sanctification. Do not forsake this, My call to you, for fear of loss of reputation, position in the world or worldly sophistication. No one is above Jesus call to be childlike. No one can circumvent his moment of judgment before My Son. To hear My call carries with it the responsibility to respond. As little children, come into the arms of the Messages here and I, your Mother, will lead you to eternal happiness. Dear children, tonight you are experiencing My Tears, which fall copiously from Heaven for the unborn. When I appeared under this title in Mexico, I appeared to convert pagan hearts-hearts that never knew Christ and God the Father-that never experienced inspirations from the Holy Spirit. But I appear to you here tonight as I desire very much to convert the hearts of all unbelievers, of those who are reluctant to believe in these apparitions or these Messages, and those who reject them out of pride. Dear children, no longer listen to Me with indifferent hearts, but become the Message of Holy and Divine Love. I beg for your prayers, for so many walk the path to perdition. Tonight I am taking your petitions to Heaven with Me. I m blessing you, My little children. December 17, 2007 Cynicism Jesus is here with many angels who are saying: Praise be to Jesus. Jesus says: I am your Jesus, born Incarnate. My brothers and sisters, it is important that you realize that the heart of the world has embraced cynicism to such a degree that it is impossible for many to accept the truths of the Messages of Holy and Divine Love. This same spirit prevents them from seeing the errors in their own hearts. Therefore, I continue, and repeat asking you to pray for unbelievers. Tonight I m imparting to you the Complete Blessing of the United Hearts. February 5, 2008 Manipulating Truth This message has been edited. The missing parts are included in the next section How Are We Called to Act?. I am your Jesus, born Incarnate. Solemnly I tell you, that today in the world there are few in number who seek to please Me above all else. Love of God has been replaced by love of self above all else. This is portrayed by departure from the truth in various ways and in all walks of life. Whole groups of some whom I chose to serve Me [including those who have chosen a religious, consecrated life] have lost their sense of righteous direction and choose, instead, to be known as liberal thinkers. But they are serving a false god the god of self-love that is HOLY LOVE MINISTRIES TOPICAL STUDIES SERIES TRUTH 6

9 Opposition to the Truth Continued the god of reputation, avarice, power and money. Many such as these hide behind important titles which demand esteem.. Today, as I address all people and all nations, I will relate to you why souls depart from the truth. Such souls establish within their hearts their own truth a truth which is selfserving. The motive for this is always self-love. Perhaps they feel rejected by someone, and so they set about saying the one who rejected them is not worthy of their affection or esteem anyway. Perhaps they manipulate laws, both secular or religious in nature, for material gain or to gain power or improve their reputation. In every case, they reinvent the truth to suit themselves, but they are really living a lie. The truth does not exist to please people but to please God. This is why society today has become morally degenerate. People please themselves and not God. This, too, is the answer to why this particular Mission has come under such attack. The persecutors of this Mission attack the truth of Scripture and of Church tradition. The Holy Father himself encourages ecumenism. Yet, My Mission here is under attack for being ecumenical. This attack is motivated, not out of love, but out of the desire to control to eliminate. In My day it was the same. I was criticized for associating with sinners with the underside of society. But I came for everyone and all just as I do here today. My call was and is ecumenical.. There is no such thing in My Eyes as the New American Church. There is only the Roman Catholic Church. Anything else is apostasy clothed as Catholicism. The Bishops in this country and elsewhere need to align themselves with the Tradition of Faith under this Holy Father; otherwise they, too, have apostasized. All priests, Bishops and Cardinals are answerable to Me for the souls under their charge. Those who have compromised the truth to accept abortion, birth control, same sex marriage, embryonic research are not living in grace whether they are Catholic or not. Whole sects of religions support violence. They are tools of Satan. Innocence in children is no longer revered, but exploited. When you look at this broader spectrum of the heart of the world, you must wonder why a prayerful Ministry such as this would be opposed. The conclusion should be easy. Satan opposes it.. How Are We Called To Act? February 12, 1999 Pray and Sacrifice I (Maureen) saw Our Lady s hands in the air. Then St. John Vianney appeared in front of them. He says, Praise be Jesus. My brothers and sisters, you must pray for priests for they are so under attack, today more than ever. Satan s confusion has attacked every heart consecrated to the priesthood. It is only through much prayer and sacrifice that the truth can be found and made known. My brothers and sisters, apostasy and schism have reached the very heart of the Church in this day and age. Those in error do not leave, but remain within the Church itself, and obscure the truth. This is why I tell you, pray for the priests. St. John Vianney blessed us. February 17, 2003 Stand Up for Truth St. Thomas Aquinas comes and says: Praise be to Jesus. I have come to help you see that God s Justice is the broom that sweeps away the debris of Satan s lies. The debris of Satan s lies is the evil that has been accepted in hearts as truth. Our Mother s images weep in the world today and even at this site, for She sees the world racing towards God s Justice. In any given moment the truth of Holy Love and the truth which is Holy Love is challenged and compromised by abortion, greed, exploitation of innocence--even world leaders who portray lies as truth and truth as lies. Always remember, Satan is the father of lies. You must stand up for the truth with courage as the saints did before you. Otherwise you stand to be swept away by God s broom of Justice. 10 How Are We Called To Act? Continued March 3, 2003 Confront Attacks within the Church I am your Jesus, born Incarnate. I have come to encourage you--not to reproach you. I have come so that you can make these things known. Never be afraid to stand up for the truth. My Remnant must hear this and take it to heart. Those who strike the Church from within must be confronted. The sacraments themselves are under attack. My True and Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist is challenged. The sacrament of reconciliation is taken lightly even though it is the precious gift of My Mercy. The holy priesthood has become a hotbed of controversy. Every aspect of this institution of the priesthood has been challenged and trodden upon. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is under attack, as well. Those who oppose sin are most often mocked rather than applauded. Is it any wonder My Mother weeps? You cannot have a live and let live attitude in this world without answering for it in the next. Understand, every sin affects the whole world and the course of human events, just as every communion, every prayer, every holy hour, every corporal work of mercy affects the entire world. Do not endorse sins such as abortion and homosexuality by not opposing them. You can pray against them--you can join and/or support organizations which oppose them. Most of all, do not be afraid to stand up for the Tradition of Faith. Let go of your reputation and live in truth. You are no more than you are in My Eyes. December 25, 2005 Stand Firm in the Tradition of Faith I am your Jesus, born Incarnate. I come to you bearing the gift of peace, just as I came as Prince of Peace in the manger at Bethlehem. Peace does not come into the heart with great pomp and fanfare. Rather, peace engulfs the heart in quietude, simplicity and humility. My attempts at shedding peace upon the world must be met with the surrender of free will; for unless free will cooperates with grace, the graces of Heaven cannot act in the heart and spirit. Further, I tell you, that peace and truth are companions. This is why I am also Lord of Truth. Untruths come from Satan, the enemy of peace. Untruths bear agitation, unrest and anxiety. Therefore, do not be swayed by any compromise or any heresy that calls your heart away from the true Tradition of Faith. Be on guard. Ask Me, and all truths will be revealed to you. A lying spirit cannot stand up to the test of truth. As Prince of Peace and Lord of the Truth, I am the Light that pierces all darkness. March 17, 2006 Pray for Enlightenment Jesus is here with His Heart exposed. He says: I am your Jesus, born Incarnate. My brothers and sisters, every day you should pray that the Light of Truth come into your heart, revealing to you areas of sin, areas of faults and doubts; where you need to improve in order to progress deeper into Divine Love. I have come to help you better understand the pharisaical spirit, for it is this spirit that is most often embraced by unbelievers. The Pharisees, in Jesus day, were spiritually and intellectually smug. They believed their opinion was the only true opinion--their truth--the only truth. They placed great value on station and wealth, intellect and power. It took much arrogance to reach this level of pride. Many of those who purport disbelief in all that takes place here are embracing, not the truth, but a pharisaical spirit. They may waste many precious moments trying to satisfy doubts instead of embracing, like a little child, the core of the Message of Holy and Divine Love. They may think the future of the Mission itself rests solely on their opinion of the Messages. Some trust only their own discernment, which may be just a rash judgment. Others believe the opinions only of those in authority, without regard for the truth. This is why I tell you, to be spiritually little is like a safety net as you walk the tightrope of life. The spiritually little do not fall into the trap of pharisaical pride, but are able to humbly recognize truth from error. St. Michael s Shield is a shield of spiritual littleness. It is man s free will which chooses for himself salvation or damnation. God s grace invites, but God does not and will not force the soul to make righteous choices. St. Michael s Shield and his anointing offer the truth, but the soul may, through his free will, choose to reject it. The lies of Satan cannot penetrate the Shield, but the soul with his free will may choose not to accept the truth, but to cling to the lies as he has in the past. August 14, 2007 Cling to Truth TO PRIESTS Blessed Mother says: Praise be to Jesus. My Son sends Me to unite the hearts of priests in the propagation of this spiritual journey through the United Hearts. I, Myself, am binding together those who will answer My call with My Rosary of the Unborn. I seek their fidelity to the basic journey shown to them in the Messages and their commitment to the propagation of the Messages and My Rosary of Life.
