VETERANS GROTTO FUND Donations to maintain the grotto on our parish cemetery are being accepted at the parish office. While donations may be made as a memorial to a loved one or a friend, a donation to the Veterans Grotto is a fitting tribute to celebrate life s milestones for living service persons and veterans as well. LOTS AVAILABLE FOR PRE-NEED PURCHASE Sequence for Pentecost Sunday It is never too early to make preparations for the inevitable. Lots are available for pre-need purchase in the new section of the PLEASE, VISIT US AGAIN SOON! cemetery. Traditional burial and cremain burial are available. Burial in our cemetery is open to all persons not just to parishioners. Contact parish office for more details. Birthright of Schenectady expresses their appreciation and thanks for our donations to its Mother s Day Flower Sale. 180 flowers were purchased and $360 was raised. They also thanked us for baby blankets that were donated recently. All donations to Birthright, help women in crisis pregnancies choose life. It is a great way to put our faith into action. Throughout the year, Birthright of Schenectady has need of various items. Current Needs: Diapers sizes 4 & 5 Donations of diapers may be placed by the crib in the gathering area of our worship space.

St. John the Evangelist Church Sr. Bernadette Filter, C.R. will be specially recognized for being a model for and inspiration to others in faithfully living out the Works of Mercy in their daily lives and in their ministry, ALL ARE INVITED. Once the materials have been scanned they will be returned to you. If you have names, dates or other information to be included, please make notation of that as well. The more detailed information you can provide, the more accurate DVD we can produce. Please drop off your materials upstairs in the choir loft. I will begin collecting information beginning May 29.
