1 THE TRUE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH The traditional way life approaches its end and is terminated is called aging. A characteristic post-mortem report: death by natural causes. Aging is a disease that commences as the pituitary gland slows down and finally stops producing Human Growth Hormones. Normally this occurs about 40 years of age. The Fountain of Youth is not a mystical dream that Ponce de Leon had but is a scriptural reality. Ponce de Leon, as others have searched for, is called IMMORTALITY. I have said this before but for clarity of this article please allow my repeating: THERE CAN BE NO DECEPTION WITHOUT A TRUTH. Ponce de Leon s dream was a deception. History proved the mystical Fountain of Youth was never discovered. You will enjoy and probably amazed at what scripture has to say about immortality and restoration of youth. You must first mentally remove yourself from the Flat World Society and believe what God has spoken about The Fountain of Youth. Psalms 103: 2-5 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases. Who redeemed thy life from destruction; who crowned you with loving kindness and tender mercies. Who satisfies thy mouth with good things; so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. Paraphrasing the four verses above: 1. Let your brain remind your tongue to thank the Lord for all the good things He has provided you in order to live the good life. 2. God has forgiven all your sins and everything you have ever done wrong because He loves you and not because of your good or bad works. 3. The Lord has healed all of your diseases including the disease of aging so that you can live forever or immortal life. 1

2 4. God has redeemed your life from destruction or death to life everlasting. 5. Your youth will be restored as strong as an eagle because the Lord will give you the correct words to speak for this to happen. Does healed all your diseases have an end date or could it be unending? I have never read in scripture that healing all my diseases, said until you are 70, 100 or some other number of years. If healing diseases is continuous then aging would never happen and living forever would be the result. Does this verse in II Timothy 1:10 suggest the same thing? But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. This is really the good news of the gospel immortality. The real and true message Jesus came to deliver to mankind is about living on earth as it is in heaven. He said, I have come to provide you a God kind of life and to provide it more abundantly. Living now, in this lifetime and not after death is the reality of why God allowed Jesus to be born and die on earth. The prayer God gave to the world: My kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and everything will be added for you. Everything includes freedom from disease and aging. Later in this paper righteousness will be understood to replace sin consciousness. A Christian favorite is John 3:16. Let s see what the original thought God was sending to mankind. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Perish in the original Greek is apollumi and means to physically die. 2

3 Everlasting in the original Greek is aionios and means immortality. Life is always Zoë in the New Testament and infers the God kind of life or eternal life now on earth. God is immortal and His sons can be also. This confirms what He said in John 3:16. Removing unbelief and believing is the component to make it happen. God in John 3:17 speaks that He did not send Jesus to earth to condemn the world but to save mankind. Saved in the original Greek is sozo and means to make whole, well and without disease. Being saved is without the disease of aging. When my studying the scriptures about the Fountain of Youth led into the study of immortality my head started reeling. How is yours doing? The scriptures corroborate immortality many times but our Flat World mentality says impossible. No one has ever experienced living forever. An experience, if contradictory, can never replace the word of God. Let s go to the book of Job. After each verse I will paraphrase in bold print using what I believe were the original thoughts of the author. Job 33:22 Yes, his soul drew near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers. This verse is prophesying about Jesus and to the other sons of God. Jesus imparted the ability to retain equal rights with him. 23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show unto man his uprightness. A true and rare messenger will release unto mankind who Jesus and the other sons of God are and their benefits of righteousness. 24 Then he is gracious unto him, and said, deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom. God s love or grace will deliver sons of God from death. Jesus was the first of many brethren to be delivered from physical death and also the ransom for mankind. Jesus or the ransom is the word of God. 25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child's and he shall return to the days of his youth. 3

4 This is a promise for mankind who understands and believes Jesus destroyed death and made immortality obtainable. 26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favorable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness. When mankind correctly perceives what are the entitlements for a son of God, because of the reality of the accomplishments of Jesus, his life will be one of righteousness and without sin consciousness. 27 and 28 He looked upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not. He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light. When mankind understands that the wages of sin is physical death he also will see the light or perceive what God has said and he will inherit immortality. 29 Observe, all these things worked God oftentimes with man. God will thoroughly do all of the above for mankind for the reason that He is not a respecter of persons. Lamentations 5:21 Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old. This is speaking to the Jews who were in slavery for 70 years. Their slavery was a result of their actions and not God s. The miraculous scriptures always can provide a secondary meaning for us today as well as the original message. Today s message; return us to our former days; restore our youth, as you told us in the past (this may refer to the book of Job). Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. When you bind yourself to the ways of the Lord the strength of your youth will be restored and you will be able to run as you did as a youth and when walking you will never be tired. Similar to all of God s promises the fulfilling is a believer s responsibility. Out of your mouth are the issues of life and death. John 11:26 If anyone is alive and has no unbelief in me or God s words they shall never die physically. Can you believe this? Paraphrased. 4

5 Unbelief short-circuits and makes of none affect all of the promises God made about The Fountain of Youth. Jesus could do no good works in the presence of Unbelief. Nothing is impossible to those that Believe. Jesus said; The traditions of men make God s word of none affect. What are the two things that will keep the word of God from working? Unbelief is a popular term. Finding where it came from in order to reverse it to Belief is coming next. Adam, in the Garden of Eden, decided to believe what Satan said and introduced Unbelief in what God had previously commanded him. What did Adam do to introduce Unbelief? Unbelief was birthed when Adam obtained knowledge of evil or sin consciousness. The knowledge of sin consciousness introduced death as God had previously promised Adam. The traditional church message is if your sins aren t forgiven you will go to hell This is the message of sin consciousness. The conclusion of the matter: Sin consciousness and unbelief are Siamese twins and inseparable. The good news is Jesus came to replace the first Adam and his mistakes. Again, like all of God s promises and commands, believing and speaking will make them a reality: 1. Jesus replaced unbelief with belief. 2. Jesus replaced sin consciousness with righteousness. 3. Jesus destroyed death and made everlasting life or immortality possible. 5

6 Traditionally the following eight scripture verses in I Corinthians 15 are believed the foundation for rapture of the church. After extensive study I have determined that the rapture doctrine is a deception that transfers the reality of living in divine health and prosperity now in this lifetime to a future time after physical death. It compares to what the slave owners told their slaves: Don t worry about your miserable life you are experiencing now because you will get your pie in the sky after you die, or in the sweet bye and bye. Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly now John 10:10b. His message was how to live in the kingdom of God, now, not after death. The rapture doctrine keeps Christians believing that being sick, poor and victims of the world system are normal. John 10:10a I am going to put in bold print under each verse what I have determined is the correct translation from the original Greek. I believe these verses are addressing a transformation when a spiritual metamorphose or born again and salvation occur. I Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Jesus told Nicodemus; while alive an individual must be born again in order to perceive and enter the kingdom of God. After being born again it is possible to escape corruption or physical death and live incorruptible or immortal. The natural man has no way to understand spiritual things. I Corinthians 2:14 51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, God, by revelation knowledge, will reveal in His word how to be transformed so we can be obedient to His word and not die. 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. I believe this is in the form of a Jewish idiom and is a continuation of how the born again experience happens in an instant and imparts immortality. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 6

7 The mortal body by the presence of the indwelling Spirit of God imparts immortality. Romans 8:11 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. This verse confirms that Jesus destroyed physical death when he destroyed sin consciousness. The entitlements and benefits of what Jesus did are transferable to sons of God by being born again and accepting salvation. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? There is no fear of death because Jesus abolished death. 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. Jesus birth and death destroyed the power of sin for this lifetime. 57 But thanks are to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank God continually for His incredible plan of making being a son of God within reach for anyone. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch, as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. As a son of God, as Jesus is a Son of God, we are able to allow God to vicariously work and labor through us just as He did through Jesus. Once unbelief and sin consciousness are eliminated from your mind The Fountain of Youth can become a reality. Read other articles for conformation.
