1 Developing a Relationship with God gives one the anointing Good evening, thank you for joining us tonight. Hi I am an evangelist and a chaplin and my name is Gladys Sanchez. Hi I am a chaplin and my name is Miguel Angel Perez. We are gathered here tonight at the Christian church of Abundant life whose pastor is Doctor Geraldo Cartagena. Let us open with a prayer. JESUS, YOU SAID THAT WHATEVER WE ASK THE FATHER IN YOUR NAME HE WOULD GIVE US. FATHER GOD IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST I PRAY THAT YOU WILL TOUCH EACH PERSON LISTENING TO THIS BROADCAST. HEAL THEM FATHER. LET EACH PERSON FEEL YOUR LOVE IN A MIGHTY WAY AND NEVER BE THE SAME A GAIN. We will be talking tonight about Developing a Relationship with God and about the anointing. When Jesus came into this physical world, God s children were steeped in religion. Thus the religious Pharisees and the Sadducees (those that wouldn t see and couldn t see) forbade Jesus from doing God s work because Jesus wasn t following their religious doctrine; rules and regulations. Jesus came to pay for our sins and to make us all fisher of men. To bring home the lost sheep. In order to do that mandate, he had to rebuke religion and develop a relationship with the disciples. John 15:15-17 (KJV) 15 henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

2 Through the relationship that we establish with God we get the anointing. The anointing is the power of God. The same power that healed the woman with the issue of blood. The anointing is transferable. Acts 19:12 People would take handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched Paul's skin to those who were sick. Their sicknesses would be cured, and evil spirits would leave them... The anointing is personalized. Some are anointed to be evangelist, prophets, teachers, pastors, chaplains and even businessmen. All for the sol intent to win the lost for God. Matthew 24:14 (KJV) 14 and this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. What scripture speaks about funding the gospel. (1 Timothy 5:17-18 ) "The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching. {18} For the Scripture says, "Do not muzzle the ox while it is treading out the grain," and "The worker deserves his wages."" Companies that have funded the spreading of God s word.

3 Since 1886 when Richard Sears began his mail order company he supported God s work and Sears company still contributes millions of dollars today. Another philanthropic foundation was the JC Penney. There are also many wealthy business men who support missionaries and evangelist who spread God s gospel around the world. In the bible we read about the different anointing. Some of those who stand out the most were anointed to be warriors, kings, men of great wealth. For example, King David was wealthy. He wanted to build God s temple. But he was not worthy to build it himself because he had blood on his hands, but he paid for it to be built. Today, we know that it requires wealth to spread the good news; The Gospel. If you are an evangelist, a teacher, a pastor, a prophet or a businessman for God than you are an anointed one in the full time ministry. We are not all anointed to preach or teach the word of God. But you may be anointed in the field of business, than your are still in the ministry of God. You can fund the end time harvest so that soul s will be won for God and receive your crown at the end of this life for a job well done. The bible speaks of five crowns that God has for us. One of the crowns being the Soul winner s crown. Matt 28:19 - the Soul Winner's Crown - For Believer's who were Obeying Jesus' Great Commission WOW! well I want all five crowns so that I can lay them all at Jesus feet. God might test you first to see if you are faithful with the little and once you prove yourself worthy than may come the gift of Wisdom and the witty inventions spoken about in the word of God. Speak about wisdom and witty inventions

4 Proverbs 8:10-12 (KJV) 10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. 11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. We should ask God to guide us and show us how we may be a blessing and how we may help win the lost souls for God. I find myself speaking to God about spreading the good news. What is the good news? It is the gospel; That we don t have to go to eternal damnation. Acts 8:26-40 (KJV) Here, the angel of the Lord directed Philip to go from Jerusalem to Gaza and join himself to the chariot of a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure. He was sitting in his chariot reading about Esaias the prophet. Philip caught up to the chariot and opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto the eunuch about Jesus. the eunuch said, what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart that Jesus is the Messiah you shall enter the kingdom of heaven. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. God is perfect good (for there is non good but God) and will give you that which you are able to receive that will bless you. For God wants to give you the anointing, but God wants you to keep the anointing and multiply it.

5 Miguel give us a scripture for this. Judges 1:15 Caleb's daughter, Achsah is given by her father a portion of the Southland; but, upon her request, he gives her a more fruitful locality with upper and nether springs. The nether or lower springs comprise the anointing of wisdom; the upper springs comprise the wealth. Request first and foremost the nether springs of the anointing of wisdom, and as the anointing grows so will the blessing of the upper springs for the upper springs represent wealth. Who is wisdom? Proverbs 3:16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honor.... We must make wisdom our business; we must venture all in it, and be willing to part with "rubies.... in exchange for eternal life, a life of vision or enjoyment of God; a life of perfect knowledge,...epinosis is God knowledge; wisdom Remember that King Solomon received the anointing of the left hand of wisdom which was wealth. 1 king 11:3 he had 700 wives and 300 concubines. His wives turned his heart towards lesser gods; and away from God thus he was in direct violation of God s word. God gave Adam one wife; Eve. How did Solomon handle 1000 wives, more wives then days in a year. No wonder they had time to worship evil. The holy bible reads whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved we are all whosoever, aren t we?

6 If you were once strong with God but because of some lost or some problem in your life you have grown cold with God and if you, like the eunuch in Acts 8:26 want to be sure to enter in to eternal glory with Jesus at the end of this earth s walk, then I would like you to bow your heads and close your eyes an repeat after me: DEAR LORD JESUS, COME INTO MY HEART. FORGIVE ME OF MY SIN. WASH ME AND CLEANSE ME. SET ME FREE. JESUS, THANK YOU THAT YOU DIED FOR ME. I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE RISEN FROM THE DEAD AND THAT YOU ARE COMING BACK AGAIN FOR ME. FILL ME WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND GIVE ME A PASSION FOR THE LOST; A HUNGER FOR THE THINGS OF GOD AND A HOLY BOLDNESS TO PREACH THE GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. I AM SAVED. I AM BORN AGAIN. I AM FORGIVEN AND I AM ON MY WAY TO HEAVEN BECAUSE I HAVE JESUS IN MY HEART. 1 Corinthians 3:12-13 (KJV) 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, or wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. We must all go through the fire of the Holy Spirit or the fire of eternal hell. When we report to heaven the fire will consume all that is wood, hay, and stubble and we will have nothing to show for earth s journey. But if we build upon the things that are eternal, upon the foundation of precious stones, then we will receive the crowns.
