Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. New Testament Reading: Ephesians 4:1-7 Sean McIntyre I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 8 WORSHIP WITH US We are one church with two locations, and we invite you to join us in worship at either location: Salem or The Connection. Come early for coffee and donuts. Kids classes and nursery care provided on Sundays mornings during worship services at both locations. MID-COUNTY (SALEM) 1200 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO Sundays, 8:30 am // Chapel Worship // The chapel service is an intimate service for those seeking traditional style worship. It includes hymns, liturgy, and other traditional worship elements. Sundays, 9:30 am // Modern Worship // Service featuring music led by Salem s worship band, an engaging message, and children s time. Worship in a welcoming and casual atmosphere. Children s groups meet at this time. Sundays, 10:45 am // Traditional Worship // A traditional service featuring music by the Salem Chamber Orchestra and Chancel Choir, engaging message, and a children s moment. Following the children s message, children are invited to Kids Worship, a special kid-style worship service, in the Chapel. Guest singers and musicians from Opera Theatre of St. Louis and Jazz at the Bistro as well as stars from The Muny are occasional featured guests in worship. Tuesdays, 7:30 pm // Prayer Service // Join us on Tuesdays for a prayer service at 7:30 pm in the Chapel. The prayers of the people will be lifted, and Holy Communion will nourish us for the journey. In the Community // Mid-County & South-City // We offer many ways to serve in St. Louis such as: Haven Street Meal Ministry, Kingdom House Day Care, Epworth Drop-In Center Lunch Ministry, and St. Louis Public School Tutoring. Student Mission Trip // Mid-County // June // Students 6-12th grade will serve in the St. Louis Public Schools and assist with Summer Fun Camp at the South-City site. Cost is $140 and deadline to register is May 12. SAVE THE DATE May 19 // 7:30 pm // Hearts All Whole Concert // Mid-County The Salem Chamber Orchestra and American Chamber Chorale welcome international opera star Christine Brewer for Hearts All Whole, a free concert featuring music by American composers. Ms. Brewer will also sing in the 10:45 worship service on May 13. June 4-8 // 9:00 am-noon // Vacation Bible School // Mid-County Children age 3 years old (by 1/1/18 and potty trained) to entering 5th grade in the fall of 2018 enjoy games, crafts, Bible stories, and more.
