2 Prayer of Approach (inspired by James 5, Mark 9) (in unison) Christ Jesus, we come into your presence from many different places. We come with songs of joy and shouts of gratitude. We come carrying heavy burdens and sighs of suffering. As you welcome us into your house, lift our burdens and receive our praise. Salt us with your grace and flavor us with your mercy. Bind us together, that we may be at peace with one another and be strengthened to go forth in service to the world. In your holy name, we pray. Amen. Please join us as we worship together. 8:00am 7:30am September Mission 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer's Alzheimer's is a type of dementia that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. Symptoms usually develop slowly and get worse over time, becoming severe enough to interfere with daily tasks. This terrible disease has affected many members and their families in our congregation. Join our team to help fight Alzheimer s. Go to and search for the St. Andrew UMC Team to donate or sign up for the walk on October 6, 2018 at Fluor Field in Greenville. All those participating in the Alzheimer's walk that would like to car pool will need to meet at the Church on October 6, 2018 at 7:30 A.M.
