2 Palm Sunday 9 a.m. O Lord, I ask for faith enough to accept the love which has been revealed to us through Him. Keep me from wriggling away from the Cross of Jesus. Keep me from hiding behind it with flowers and fine words. For if it is to mean anything real, it must stand in the deep places of my heart. It must mean that I too will enter into the pain of life. All: Hallowed be Your Name! Liturgist: Early in the morning, a voice in a guarded graveyard and footsteps in the dew proved that You had risen, that You had come back to those and for those who had forgotten, denied and destroyed You. All: O God, bring new life where we are worn and tired, new love where we have turned hard-hearted, forgiveness where we have wounded, and the joy and freedom of Your Holy Spirit where we are prisoner to ourselves.
