I have been blessed these many years at Saint Raphael by the dedication, commitment and pride of the many people of our parish. Reflecting on these many years, much has happened in the life of our church, society and parish. Through the accomplishments and challenges, God s grace has helped us along the way. As we move forward, through the intercession of our patron, Saint Raphael (God s healer), may we continue to grow in God s love and service to his people. Father Paul Cursillo Cursillo is a short course in Christianity. In Cursillo, you encounter Christ in a small community of the Church, in order to deepen your own faith and strengthen your ability to be a witness of Christ in the world. Women s Cursillo Weekend - Oct Men s Cursillo Weekend - Nov Dec. 2, 2018 The weekend runs from Thursday evening through Sunday afternoon and is held at the Campion Center in Weston, MA. Members of St. Raphael Parish, Maryellen & Paul Stanton are on the team for the (women s/men s) weekend this Fall. The dinner will be Italian Buffett with dessert. We will be selling tickets for the dinner after all Masses on the weekends of Sept 29 th & Oct 6 th. Tickets will be $10 Adults/$5 children under 12 years old. No tickets will be sold at the door on the night of the dinner.

We will be offering a 6 week bereavement support group for people who are living with loss. It is Intended for those who would like to learn new and supportive ways to reclaim moments of contentment and happiness while honoring those who have died. Monday nights from 6:00-7:30pm- In the Parish Center. Monday October 15th Monday October 22nd Monday October 29th Scripture Study Course Fr. Hughes will offer a four week Scripture Study course on the Book of Psalms. The course will cover the place of the Psalms in the life and faith of Israel, their classification and poetic structure, and their centrality in the liturgical prayer life of the Church. Classes will meet on four Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM 8:30 PM in the Parish Center. The dates are 10/3, 10/10, 10/17 and 10/31. Registration is helpful in order to have sufficient course material available for those attending.
