Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Most Sweet Jesus, whose overflowing charity for men is requited by so much forgetfulness, negligence and contempt, behold us prostrate before you, eager to repair by a special act of homage the cruel indifference and injuries to which your loving Heart is everywhere subject. Mindful, alas, that we ourselves have had a share in such great indignities, which we now deplore from the depths of our hearts, we humbly ask your pardon and declare our readiness to atone by voluntary expiation, not only for our own personal offenses, but also for the sins of those who, straying far from the path of salvation, refuse in their obstinate infidelity to follow you, their Shepherd and Leader, or, renouncing the promises of their baptism, have cast off the sweet yoke of your law. We are now resolved to expiate each and every deplorable outrage committed against you; we are now determined to make amends for the manifold offenses against Christian modesty in unbecoming dress and behaviour, for all the foul seductions laid to ensnare the feet of the innocent, for the frequent violations of Sundays and Holy Days and the shocking blasphemies uttered against you and your saints. We wish also to make amends for the insults to which your Vicar on earth and your ministering servants are subjected, for the profanation, by conscious neglect of terrible acts of sacrilege, of the very Sacrament of your Divine love, and, lastly, for the public crimes of nations against the holy innocents and the true Church. Would that we were able to wash away such abominations with our blood. We now offer, in reparation for these violations of your divine honor, the satisfaction you once made to your Eternal Father on the cross and
5 which you continue to renew daily on our altars; we offer it in union with the acts of atonement of your Virgin Mother and all the saints and of the pious faithful on earth; and we sincerely promise to make recompense, as far as we can with help of your grace, for all neglect of your great love and for the sins we and others have committed in the past. Henceforth we will live a life of unswerving faith, of purity of conduct, of perfect observance of the precepts of the Gospel and especially that of charity. We promise to the best of our power to prevent others from offending you and to bring as many as possible to follow you. O loving Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mother, our model in reparation, deign to receive the voluntary offering we make of this act of expiation; and by the crowning gift of perseverance keep us faithful unto death in our duty and the allegiance we owe to you, so that we may all one day come to that happy home where with the Father and the Holy Spirit you live and reign, God, forever and ever. Amen. Act of Consecration by Saint Margaret Mary I, (your name), give and consecrate to the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ my person and my life, my actions, pains and sufferings, not wishing to make use of any part of my being except to honor, love and glorify that Sacred Heart. It is my irrevocable will to be entirely his and to do everything for his love, renouncing with my whole heart whatever might displease him. I take you, then, O Sacred Heart, to be the sole object of my love, the protector of my life, the pledge of my salvation, the remedy of my frailty and inconstancy, the repairer of all the defects of my life, and my secure refuge in the hour of death. Be, then, O Heart of Goodness, my justification before God your Father, and remove far from me the shafts of his just wrath. O Heart of Love, I place my whole confidence in you. While I fear all things from my malice and frailty, I hope all things from your goodness. Consume in me, then, whatever can displease or be opposed to you, and let your pure love imprint you so deeply upon my heart that it will be impossible for me ever to forget you or be separated from you. I implore you, by all your goodness, that my name may be written in you, since I desire that all my happiness and glory should consist in living and dying in very bondage to you. Amen. Adoration of Saint Margaret Mary O Heart of Love, I place all my trust in you: for though I fear all things from my weakness, I hope all things from your goodness. Daily Act of Oblation O Lord Jesus Christ, in union with that divine intention with which you offered on earth your praises to God through your Sacred Heart, and now continue to offer them in all places in the Sacrament of the Eucharist, and will do so to the end of the world, I most willingly offer you throughout this entire day, without the smallest exception, all my intentions and thoughts, all my affections and desires, all my words and actions, in imitation of the most pure heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary ever immaculate.

7 Graciously hear us, O Lord. Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world, Have mercy on us. Conductor: Jesus, meek and humble of heart, Congregation: Let our hearts resemble yours. Almighty and eternal God, look upon the Heart of your most beloved Son and upon the praise and satisfaction which he offers you in the name of sinners; and to those who implore your mercy, in your great goodness grant forgiveness in the name of the same Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you forever and ever. Amen. Prayer to the Sacred Heart O Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, pour down your blessings abundantly upon your holy Church, upon our beloved Vicar of Christ, and upon all the ministering servants and Communicants and Keepers of the Flame; give perseverance to the just, convert sinners, enlighten unbelievers, bless our relatives, friends and benefactors, help the dying, free the souls in purgatory and extend over all hearts the sweet empire of your love. Amen. Pious Invocations Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in you. Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Sacred Heart of Jesus, your kingdom come! Divine Heart of Jesus, convert sinners, save the dying, deliver the holy souls in purgatory. Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make our hearts like unto yours. Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in your love for me. Glory, love and thanksgiving be to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Consecration of the Community and the Family to the Sacred Heart O Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, who manifested to Saint Margaret Mary your desire of reigning in Christian families: we today wish to proclaim your most complete regal dominion over our Community of the Holy Spirit and each family and individual member of your Mystical Body in heaven and on earth. We would henceforth live your life; we would cause to flourish in our midst those virtues to which you promised peace here below; we would banish far from us the spirit of the world which you condemned. You shall reign over our minds in the simplicity of our faith, and over our hearts by our love of you alone, with which our hearts are on fire and whose flame we shall keep alive by the frequent reception of your divine Eucharist. Deign, O Divine Heart, to preside over our assemblings, to bless our enterprises both spiritual and temporal, to ward off all annoyance from us, to sanctify our joys, to alleviate our sufferings. If ever on earth the other of us should have the misfortune to afflict you, remind him, O Heart of Jesus, that you are good and merciful to the penitent sinner. And when the hour of separation strikes, when death shall come to cast mourning into our midst, we will all, both those who go and those who stay be submissive to your eternal decrees. We will
8 console ourselves with the thought that a day will come when the entire body of God, reunited in Heaven, can sing forever your glories and your goodness. May the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the glorious Patriarch Saint Joseph present this consecration to you and keep it in our minds all the days of our life. All glory to the Heart of Jesus, our King and our Father! Act of Consecration My most loving Jesus, I consecrate myself again today, and without reserve, to your Divine Heart. I consecrate to you my body with all its senses, my soul with all its faculties, and my whole being entirely. I consecrate to you all my thoughts, words and actions, all my sufferings and labors, all my hopes, consolations and joys; and, above all, I consecrate to you my poor heart, in order that it may love only you and may be consumed as a victim in the fire of your love. Accept, O Jesus, my most sweet Spouse, the desire that I have to console your Divine Heart and to be yours forever. Take possession of me in such a manner that from henceforth I may have no other liberty than that of loving you, no other life than that of serving you and following you in the resurrection unto eternal life. I place in you unlimited trust, and I hope from your infinite mercy for the pardon of my sins. I place in your hands all my cares, especially that of my eternal salvation. I promise to love you and to honor you to the last moment of my life and to propagate, as much as I am able, devotion to your Sacred Heart. Dispose of me, O my Jesus, according to your good pleasure; I seek no other reward than your greater glory and your holy love. Grant me the grace to set up my dwelling place in your Divine Heart, where I desire to pass every day of my life, where I desire to breathe my last breath. Set up in the Secret Chamber of my heart your abode, the chosen spot for your repose, where our Father has sealed his Threefold Flame, so that we may remain ever closely united; thus may I one day be able to praise, love and possess you for all eternity on high in heaven through the bonding of my heart to your Sacred Heart. And there I will sing forever the infinite mercies of your most Sacred Heart. Pious Invocations in Honor of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus *In the Sacred Heart of Jesus I AM consumed by God s Love. Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, burning with love of us, enkindle in our hearts the love of you.* Blessed be the most Sacred Eucharistic Heart of Jesus. * Blessed and praised be the Sacred Heart and Precious Blood of Jesus in the most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.* Praised be the most Sacred Heart of Jesus in the most Blessed Sacrament.* Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, increase in us faith, hope and charity.* Praise, adoration, love and thanksgiving be every moment given to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus in all the tabernacles of the world and unto the end of time.* Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, furnace of divine charity, give peace to the world.* I adore you, most Sacred Eucharistic Heart of Jesus.* Love, honor and glory to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus.* Amen.
