Unexpected events happen every day to people of all ages. A simple estate playbook can provide security for you and your family from headaches, stress and expenses in the future. Attorney Dustin Crouse of Knoxville Elder Law will discuss wills, limitations of wills, dying without an estate plan, inheritances for children or grandchildren, mistakes families make, and more. Program runs 6-7pm. RSVP by calling Child care and youth activities available. Dinner is free for GAP families and reservations must be made by noon Monday, October 22. 3 Missions & Ministry OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Kickoff Date: TODAY Touch the heart of a special child this Christmas by sending a gift-filled shoe box and the Good News of Jesus Christ. Pick up a shoe box today as you leave either worship service. Decide whether your gift will be for a boy or girl and tape brochure label to top of shoe box. Fill the box with gifts. (Please review gift suggestion guide in brochure.) Include a $9 donation for shipping cost for each shoe box (cash or check payable to Samaritan s Purse) on top of gift items. If you give this donation online, please place the barcode on the shoebox. Place a rubber band around shoe box to secure gift items. Bring shoe box back to church on November 4. CBCFC/CHS PARTNERSHIp Friday, October 26 Volunteers from our church will serve the faculty at Central High School our annual Fall Luncheon: homemade soups, salad bar, homemade desserts, tea, and water. Please join us in this ministry by volunteering to set up/serve, preparing a soup or dessert, or donating money to help cover expenses.
