On November 22, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, our OPC Youth will be packing treat boxes for college students to enjoy during their exam week. On Sunday, November 15, Elizabeth Mendoza will begin leading a multi-week discussion session on the ethical and spiritual themes in Charles Dickens', A Christmas Carol. Elizabeth will share the work of Paul Mack Somers, author of the framework for a similar series within the Quaker community. Please join us for this enlightening series... God bless us everyone! 10 Annual Pledge Drive Begins Keep an eye on your mailbox the first week of November as you will be receiving your pledge card for the annual Overbrook Presbyterian pledge drive. We are asking members to bring their pledge cards to church on Pledge Sunday, November 15. Pastor Drew will give a special sermon that day and we will bless our bountiful gifts and thank those who, with their pledges, will have committed to helping build God s Kingdom on Earth from here at the Crossroads. Inspired by the popular TED Talks, OPC Talks...and Walks will feature inspirational academic presentations and cultural tours led by members and friends of Overbrook. On November 16, our premier speaker will be Dr. Rachel Baard, OPC congregant and the Laurence C. Gallen Fellow in the Humanities at Villanova University.
