2 Music notes Anyone who sings or plays an instrument is invited to join in our Sunday celebration of the Eucharist. Music practice is held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.. The Tuesday practice is for 4:30 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. Mass, the Wednesday for 6 p.m.. Please : No practice Dec. 17th, 24th, 25th & 31st. Merry Christmas from the CCUP Contemporary Music Group! This year s recipients are Central City Ministries, Family House, Ronald McDonald House and the orphanage in Honduras. Please note that the gifts with the orange ornaments need to be delivered to the DeBenedetti Rm. no later than Friday, Dec. 13th so that our students going on the Christian Service trip can take the gifts with them. This information, received from local sources, will be used to help prepare for the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, called by Pope Francis, for October 5-19, 2014; the theme of this meeting will be: Pastoral challenges of the family in the context of evangelization. To help us efficiently receive your thoughts, we ask that you take a brief online survey, that is available on your parish website; Please take the survey right away, if possible. Parish registration at the beginning of each fall semester our parish reconstitutes itself. help us serve you by filling out a card even if you have done so in the past. students since your information changes each year it is very important that you re-register. Please be sure to fill out both sides of the registration form. students who are registered at their home parish can also be registered at ccup because this will be your ut parish. For more information please contact Lauren in the parish office. christian LeadershiP PrograM (clp) christian Leadership Program scholarships: $ scholarships are available for catholic Freshman students at the university of toledo. applications are available for the christian Leadership scholarship Program (clp) sponsored by corpus christi university Parish. any full-time freshman student who will be attending ut, is a practicing catholic, and is willing to meet the program requirements, is encouraged to apply for one of the twelve $ scholarships. We ll make you Feel at home! infant baptism: the sacrament of baptism is celebrated after the 11 a.m. Mass on the fourth sunday of the month. registered parishioners are asked to make arrangements for the baptismal Preparation class and the Liturgical celebration by calling the Parish office. Matrimony: anyone planning to be married must contact the Parish at least six months in advance. the exact date and time of your wedding should not be determined until after consultation with a priest or deacon. if either party has previously been civilly or religiously married, the Presider is not permitted to set a date for the wedding without resolving the previous marriage. Pastoral care of the sick: When a parishioner is confined to home because of age or infirmity, or in a hospital or nursing home, please call the parish office to arrange for holy communion to be brought to them. When one is seriously ill, the healing Presence of the Lord should be requested in the sacrament of the sick by calling the Parish office holy orders: When a gentleman feels the call to follow the Lord as a Priest in the catholic church, he should call Monsignor charles singler, our diocesan vocation director, as or speak to one of the Parish Priests. if the Permanent diaconate is of interest to a gentleman he should call deacon james caruso, our vicar for deacons at or speak to one of the deacons of the Parish. religious Life: consecrated women religious by their lives witness the joy of eternal union with god.
