ENTRANCE SONG Here I Am to Worship Sending Song Shout to the Lord Verse My Jesus, my Savior, Lord, there is none like you; all of my days I want to praise the wonders of your mighty love. My comfort, my shelter, tower of refuge and strength, let ev ry breath, all that I am, never cease to worship you. Sign of the Cross Priest: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. All: Amen.

14. Communion Song When We Gather at the Table Greeting Priest: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 3. All: And with your spirit. Penitential Act & Gloria Please stand. Prayer After Communion Concluding Rites Greeting & Final Blessing Dismissal All: Thanks be to God. Collect

4. LITURGY OF THE WORD FIRST READING Genesis 2:18-24 Introduction to the Reading: The first 11 chapters of Genesis have very little historical foundation but they teach religious truths in parable form. In Chapter One and Chapter Two, there are two quite different accounts of creation. Today we hear a part of the second account. Lord s Prayer Sign of Peace Communion Rite The peace of the Lord be with you always. And with your spirit. Lamb of God 13. Mass of a Joyful Heart And they became two in one flesh. The LORD God said, "It isn't good for Adam to be alone! I need to make the right kind of partner for him." The LORD then took some earth and made all the animals and birds. He brought them to Adam to see what names he would give to each of them. Adam named all of the tame animals and all of the birds and the wild animals. That's how they got their names. Not one of the animals was the right kind of partner for Adam. So the LORD God made him fall into a deep sleep, and he took out one of Adam's ribs. Then after closing Adam's side, the LORD made a woman out of the rib. The LORD God brought her to Adam, and Adam shouted, "Now here is someone like me! She is part of my body, my own flesh and bones! She came from me, a man. So I will name her Woman!" That's why a man will leave his own father and mother. He marries a woman, and the two of them become like one person. Priest: Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb. All: Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.

Psalm 145 Together we sing with the Music Ministry: Lord our God, listen to our prayer. Send the Holy Spirit to all of us who share in this meal. May this Spirit bring us closer together in the family of the Church, with Francis, our Pope, Blase, our Bishop, all other Bishops, and all who serve your people. We praise you, we bless you, we thank you! Remember, Father, our families and friends, and all those we do not love as we should. Remember those who have died. Bring them home to you to be with you for ever. We praise you, we bless you, we thank you! Gather us all together into your kingdom. There we shall be happy for ever with the Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our mother. There all the friends of Jesus the Lord will sing a song of joy. We praise you, we bless you, we thank you! Verses sung by the Music Ministry. Through him, and with him, and in him, O God, almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, for ever and ever.

6. SECOND READING Hebrews 2:9-11 Introduction to the Reading: Today and for the next six Sundays, our second reading will come from the Letter to the Hebrews. The section from which today's passage is taken is perhaps the New Testament's most profound commentary on the implications of Jesus becoming a human being. He who consecrates and those who are being consecrated all have one origin. Brothers and sisters: He "for a little while" was made "lower than the angels," that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. For it was fitting that he, for whom and through whom all things exist, in bringing many children to glory, should make the leader to their salvation perfect through suffering. He who consecrates and those who are being consecrated all have one origin. Therefore, he is not ashamed to call them "brothers." Blessed be Jesus, who you sent to be the friend of children and friend of the poor. He came to show us how we can love, Father, by loving one another. He came to take away sin, which keeps us from being friends, and hate, which makes us all unhappy. He promised to send the Holy Spirit, to be with us always so that we can live as your children. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, in the name of the Lord. Hosanna, hosanna in the highest. God our Father, we now ask you to send your Holy Spirit to change these gifts of bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord. The night before he died, Jesus your Son showed us how much you love us. When he was at supper with his disciples, he took bread and gave you thanks and praise. Then he broke the bread, and gave it to his friends, and said: Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body which will be given up for you. Jesus has given his life for us. 11. The word of the Lord. Gospel Acclamation Thanks be to God. Please stand. When supper was ended, Jesus took the cup that was filled with wine. He thanked you, gave it to his friends, and said: Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this is the Chalice of my Blood, the Blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins. Jesus has given his life for us! Then he said to them: Do this in memory of me. And so, loving Father, we remember that Jesus died and rose again to save the world. He put himself into our hands to be the sacrifice we offer you. We praise you, we bless you, we thank you!

10. God, our loving Father, we are glad to give you thanks and praise because you love us. With Jesus we sing your praise: Hosanna in the highest. Because you love us, you gave us this great and beautiful world. With Jesus we sing your praise: Hosanna in the highest. Because you love us, you sent Jesus your Son to bring us to you and to gather us around him as the children of one family. With Jesus we sing your praise: Hosanna in the highest. For such great love we thank you with the Angels and Saints as they praise you and sing: GOSPEL Mark 10:13-16 Priest: The Lord be with you. Deacon/Priest: + A reading from the holy gospel according to Mark All: Glory to you, O Lord. 7. All: And with your spirit. The kingdom of God belongs to children like these. Some people brought their children to Jesus so that he could bless them by placing his hands on them. But his disciples told the people to stop bothering him. When Jesus saw this, he became angry and said, "Let the children come to me! Don't try to stop them. People who are like these little children belong to the kingdom of God. I promise you that you cannot get into God's kingdom, unless you accept it the way a child does." Then Jesus took the children in his arms and blessed them by placing his hands on them. The gospel of the Lord. Praise to you, Lord, Jesus Christ.

8. Homily Profession of Faith Apostles Creed I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, Bow: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, Stand: suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen. Universal Prayer Response: Lord, hear our prayer. Prayer of the Faithful LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST Presentation Song Love Come Down Casey Darnell, Ross King, Todd Fields, and Heath Balltzglier 1995 Mercy/Vineyard Pub. Chorus I will sing forever of Your love come down. With my hands to heaven shout Your praises loud. I was lost in darkness when You pulled me out. I will sing forever of Your love come down. Whoa, whoa, oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh Verse I once was blind, I could not see, Chains of sin had shackled me But God in heaven heard my plea. Jesus, Jesus rescued me. Jesus, Jesus rescued me. Please stand. Priest: Pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father. 9. All: May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name, for our good and the good of all his holy Church. The Lord be with you. All: And with your spirit. All: We lift them up to the Lord. Lift up your hearts. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. All: It is right and just.
