It is our heart and desire to engage the community of Waseca with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, equip those who respond to be the next generation of disciples of Jesus Christ and to empower them to go into the world as partners with God for the healing of the world. All: Jesus, our Lord, we shout hosannas to praise you. With eager hands, we place our palms of praise on the path before you. L: Yet, Lord, we confess that the mouths that seek to praise you often deny or defy you. L: We confess that the hands that seek to serve you often become fists. L: We confess our praise is often empty. Just as the people of Jerusalem did long ago, We sing Hosanna, but will cry Crucify. Around 110 persons will be served. Again this year the meal will be catered by Hy-Vee and taken to Minneapolis. Your support is needed to help pay for the meal as well as provide bread, milk, bananas, and cookies. A signup sheet for the latter items will be available today. Please make your checks out to Faith United Methodist Church and put Simpson meal on the memo line. This is one of the ways we are able to reach out to our brothers and sisters in need in a very concrete way.
