1 This is your schedule! Thank you for perusing it and returning it with typos and questions LEGIBLY MARKED at the first rehearsal you can attend. I hope to see you all on August 28 th at 7:00pm. Do not return this schedule with notes about your availability. Just log them in the system or on the minister clip board. Notes: Just a reminder you never need to let me know when you CAN T be at Monday rehearsal. I know you are adults, with busy lives and beautiful families. My job is to make rehearsals enriching and urge you to be with us making beautiful music for the beatification and optimization of our PARISHIONER S Mass prayer as often as you are able. In return for this commitment you will have my enthusiasm, my support and I will provide as much opportunity AS I CAN for fellowship and education in Christ and Music we make FOR HIM. Talent is NOT A MERE GIFT we are given to share, but rather a call to deeper work and enrichment for Christ. The joy of that work is indescribable and I look forward to sharing it again AND again with all of you! I AM REQUESTING with some passion that you enter the SUNDAYS you are unavailable in to the MSP system whenever possible!!!!! If you REALLY feel uncomfortable learning to use the system (I always am willing to train you). Until you are comfortable with the system, please mark the SUNDAYS you cannot sing on the clip board above the ministry sign in table. PLEASE NOTE the retreat dates listed in the schedule. Come to as much of each of them or either of them as you can. Squares and Rectangles..Being absent on a given SUNDAY does NOT mean I don t want you at rehearsal the previous MONDAY. Being ABSENT on a given MONDAY does necessarily not mean you cannot sing on the following SUNDAY. I ask that people are ALWAYS on time for Sunday warm ups and I ask that people only come to Sundays if they have been at any 2 of the previous 3 rehearsals. The ONLY exception is September 10 th, as our season is new. Cantors, please sign up for the Sundays you wish to Cantor The Psalm and then, I ask you ALSO sign up for EITHER the cantor spot at 7pm of the Monday prior to the Sunday you wish to Sing, OR come for any other cantor time on the schedule that s convenient for you instead. Whenever the Cantor of a given Sunday signs up for a time OTHER than the Monday night before his/her Psalmist DATE, I will send out notice that the time before that Monday s rehearsal is open to whomever grabs it off of MSP first. Choir warms up at 9:00am on Sundays when they sing. Since we have the schedule so far in advance, we will not need to change this. Thank you for your enthusiasm and support. PLEASE BRING FRIENDS TO CHOIR ALWAYS!
