Reflection on Our Cover Today is Gaudete Sunday, the midpoint in Advent, a time for rejoicing. As we move further into the season, we come to realize that being invited into the reign of God is the reason for our rejoicing. We can ask God to give us that joy that the world cannot give, a joy that is found rooted in our faith in God, in our trusting that the God who raised Jesus up will also bring us to fullness of life. Advent Season A New Member on the Parish Finance Committee I am delighted to appoint Robert Vallecorse (school parent; Amanda in 7th Grade) to the parish finance advisory committee.

He will collaborate closely with me and the rest of the finance committee in evaluating and planning in regards to the school and parish finances.

Currently, he is Vice President for Investments in UBS Weath Management. He writes songs/music and plays guitar at the 9:30 a.m. once a month.

4 Advent Season A New Member on the Parish Finance Committee I am delighted to appoint Robert Vallecorse (school parent; Amanda in 7th Grade) to the parish finance advisory committee. Despite his busy schedule, he has kindly accepted to shoulder this responsibility. I m deeply grateful to him for this service to our parish community. He will collaborate closely with me and the rest of the finance committee in evaluating and planning in regards to the school and parish finances. Robert had been on the parish council and finance committee some years ago when Father Will Smith was pastor. He has a business degree from SFSU.
