2 Celebrant People Blessed be God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And blessed be his kingdom, now and for ever.amen. The Celebrant says Almighty God, to you all hearts are open, all desires known, and from you no secrets are hid: Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you, and worthily magnify your holy Name; through Christ our Lord. Amen. All sing

3 Celebrant People Celebrant People Amen. The people sit for The Lord be with you. And also with you. Let us pray. O loving God, who order all things by your unerring wisdom and unbounded love: Grant us in all things to see your hand; that, following the example and teaching of your servant Charles Simeon, we may walk with Christ in all simplicity, and serve you with a quiet and contented mind; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. The First Reading: Isaiah 12:1-6 After the Reading, the Reader says The Word of the Lord. People Thanks be to God. Psalm 145: The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, * slow to anger and of great kindness. 9 The LORD is loving to everyone * and his compassion is over all his works. 10 All your works praise you, O LORD, * and your faithful servants bless you.

4 11 They make known the glory of your kingdom * and speak of your power; 12 That the peoples may know of your power * and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. 13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom; * your dominion endures throughout all ages. The Second Reading: Romans 10:8b-17 After the Reading, the Reader says The Word of the Lord. People Thanks be to God. All stand and sing The Holy Gospel: John 21:15-17 All standing, the Deacon reads the Gospel, first saying The Holy Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christaccording to John. People Glory to you, Lord Christ.

5 After the Gospel, the Reader says The Gospel of the Lord. People Praise to you, Lord Christ. The people sit for The Bishop s Address The people stand for The Prayers of the People In the course of the silence after each bidding, the People offer their own prayers, either silently or aloud. At the conclusion of the prayers the Celebrant says Lord Jesus Christ, you said to your apostles, "Peace I give to you; my own peace I leave with you:" Regard not our sins, but the faith of your Church, and give to us the peace and unity of that heavenly City, where with the Father and the Holy Spirit you live and reign, now and for ever. Amen. The Confession of Sin and Absolution The Deacon says Let us confess our sins against God and our neighbor. Silence may be kept. Deacon and People Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us; that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen. The Celebrant says Almighty God have mercy on you, forgive you all your sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen you in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep you in eternal life. Amen.

6 The Peace The Celebrant says to the people The peace of the Lord be always with you. People And also with you. Then the People may greet one another in thename of the Lord. The Holy Communion The Celebrant begins the Offertory with a sentence of Scripture. Representatives of the congregation bring the people's offerings of bread and wine, and money or other gifts, to the deacon. All stand and sing

7 The Great ThanksgivingEucharistic Prayer B The people remain standing. The Celebrant proceeds It is right, and a good and joyful thing, always and everywhere to give thanks to you, Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. For the wonderful grace and virtue declared in all your saints, who have been the chosen vessels of your grace, and the lights of the world in their generations. Therefore we praise you, joining our voices with Angels and Archangels and with all the company of heaven, who for ever sing this hymn to proclaim the glory of your Name: Celebrant and People

8 The Celebrant continues Therefore, according to his command, O Father, Celebrant and People We remember his death, We proclaim his resurrection, We await his coming in glory; The Celebrant continues By him, and with him, and in him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit all honor and glory is yours, Almighty Father, now and for ever. AMEN. People and Celebrant Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread.

9 Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial, and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and for ever. Amen. The Breaking of the Bread The Celebrant breaks the consecrated Bread.A period of silence is kept. The Celebrant then says Alleluia. Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us; People Therefore let us keep the feast. Alleluia. Then is sung by all The Celebrant says the following Invitation The Gifts of God for the People of God. Take them in remembrance that Christ died for you, and feed on him in your hearts by faith, with thanksgiving.

10 The ministers receive the Sacrament in both kinds, and then immediately deliver it to the people. During the communion of the people all sing After Communion, the Celebrant says Let us pray. The People stand.

11 Celebrant and People Almighty and everliving God, we thank you for feeding us with the spiritual food of the most precious Body and Blood of your Son our Savior Jesus Christ; and for assuring us in these holy mysteries that we are living members of the Body of your Son, and heirs of your eternal kingdom. And now, Father, send us out to do the work you have given us to do, to love and serve you as faithful witnesses of Christ our Lord. To him, to you, and to the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory, now and for ever. Amen. The Bishop blesses the people. All then sing
