16 TODAY S MUSICAL OFFERING IN THE CHURCH Keep in touch with SJD Music at our blog: sjdmusic.wordpress.com. The beloved aria He Shall Feed His Flock from Hel s Messiah has a text comprised a compilation words from both Isaiah Matw. The first part, He shall feed his flock (Isaiah 40:11), is sung by mezzosoprano to music in 12/8 lending a more pastoral feel. The second part is sung by a soprano to words Jesus changed to third person, Come unto Him, all ye that labor (Matw 11:2829). The soprano sings same melody but elevated to a higher key. We are most grateful to our soloists, Katie Marcell Laura LeVoir, both whom are members SJD Chorale.. 16.
