2 TOUR PROGRAM May 24 Wednesday - USA / PORTUGAL Departure from USA on our intercontinental flight to Lisbon. Meals and night on board. May 25 - Thursday LISBOA / BATALHA / FATIMA Arriving in Lisbon in the morning, meet with our representative and transfer by private motorcoach to Fátima, we will visit the Batalha Monastery. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Fatima. we will participate in the 9 pm procession of torches. May 26 Friday FATIMA Breakfast. we will visit the most famous places of Fatima: The Basilica of Francisco and Jacinta, the town of Aljustrel, where the children lived, and Valinhos, the place of the appareance of Our Lady when the children returned back from the prison. We will spend our afternoon in prayer and devotion. Dinner and overnight. May 27 Saturday FATIMA/SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA Breakfast. Departure with our motorcoach crossing the border of Portugal and Spain to Santiago de Compostela. Arriving early in the afternoon. Visit the Cathedral, Plaza del Obradoiro, and to the rest of this city, heritage of the humanity, where is found the remains of Santiago the greater and is the end of the routes of Santiago. Dinner and overnight. May 28 - Sunday SANTIAGO DE C. / ALBA DE T. / AVILA After breakfast, we will depart early this morning to Alba de Tormes, city where died Santa Teresa of Jesus. We will visit the Carmelite Monastery, first church dedicated to St John of the Cross and the monastery of the Annunciation. Here is retains her body incorrupt, and two of their relics more illustrious: the arm left and her heart. Visit the Ages of Man. We will continue towards Avila. Dinner and overnight. May 29 Monday AVILA / MADRID Breakfast. This morning we will begin the visit of the birth city of Santa Teresa, Santa Teresa Convent. Possibility of celebrating Eucharist. Visit the Saint Joseph Convent, the first monastery of Discalced Carmelite nuns. Early in the afternoon depart to Madrid. Dinner and overnight. May 30 - Tuesday MADRID Breakfast. Departure with our bus for a panoramic tour of Madrid, Europe's highest capital. During the visit, you will discover extraordinary monuments and sites, as old as the city itself, as the Puerta del Sol, Casa de las Américas, Town Hall of Madrid, Banco de España, la Plaza Mayor, and museums like El Prado or Thyssen-Bornemisz. Some monuments built during the reign of Carlos III are the Puerta de Alcalá, la Fuente de Neptuno and the Fuente de Cibeles, located in the middle of an important axis of movement. The afternoon will be at leisure. Dinner and overnight. May 31 - Wednesday MADRID / ROMA Breakfast. Transfer with our motorcoach to the airport in time for departure of our flight to Rome. Meeting with our representative at the Leonardo Da Vinci airport and transfer by bus to our hotel. This afternoon we ll met with our local guide and depart by our motorcoach for a half day tour of the Basilics. We will start with the St. Mary the Major Basilica, a las Basílicas más emblemáticas de Roma. Early transfer this morning to the Vatican to attend the Holy Mass of Pentecost at 10:00 with Pope Francis and celebrate the Great Jubilee of gold of the renewal charismatic in the Catholic Church. Afternoon departure with our Bus to visit with a local guide: the Imperial Rome with the Colosseum (entrance not incluided), the Roman Forum (entrance not incluided), Venice Square with the Unknown Soldier monument, Trevi Fountain, the famous Via Veneto. Dinner and overnight. Jun 05 - Monday ROME / LUCCA Breakfast. Early departure this morning with our bus to Lucca. Visit the Church of St. Agustin where rests the body of blessed Elena Guerra, founder of the Congregation of the Oblates of the Holy Spirit. Celebration of the Holy Mass. The rest of the day will be free. Dinner and overnight. Jun 06 - Tuesday LUCCA / ASSISI Breakfast. Departure to Assisi, birthplace of St. Francis. Arrival and visit of St. Claire Basílica where rests the body of the Saint. In one of the Chapel is saved the Cricifix of St. Damián. St. Francis Basílica, the more beautiful of all the Temples formed by the upper and lower church and the crypt where the tomb is located. The upper Basilica highlights the already restored frescoes of Giotto. Continue our visit in the afternoon with St. Mary of the Angels Basílica, erected on the Chapel of Porziuncola. Dinner and overnight. Jun 07 - Wednesday ASSISI / ROME / U.S.A. Breakfast and early departure to Leonardo da Vinci airport in Rome in time of departure of our flight back to USA. Same day arrival.
