Paul Nancarrow THE WASHING OF FEET The Book of Common Prayer, p. 247 Please go with bare feet and form lines at the station closest to you. You may join the line at any time. The clergy will be the last ones to have their feet washed. After your feet are washed and dried, move to the place on the floor to wash the next person s feet. If you are only able to have your feet washed, just ask the person to do the next person also. To wash feet, pour water over a foot and wipe it dry; then do the same with the other foot. After you finish, return to your pew. Everyone in the pews may pray, reflect, and meditate during this part of the service. We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us; that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.
