The Very Rev. Howard W. The Rev. Michael A. Donald Chortos, retired, maintains his residence at St. Patrick Parish, Canonsburg, effective Monday, Oct. 15, The Rev. Ladis J. Cizik from chaplain to Rehab, Nursing, and Elderly Facilities in East Suburban Deanery, to parish chaplain of the parishes within the Beaver Falls/Chippewa/Darlington/Midland grouping, namely: St. Blaise Parish, Midland; and St. Monica Parish, Beaver Falls/Chippewa/Darlington, effective Monday, Oct. 15, Father Cizik maintains his private residence. The Rev. Joseph B. Codori to parish chaplain, of the parishes within the City Center/Strip District grouping, namely: St. Benedict the Moor Parish, Hill District; Epiphany Parish, Uptown; St. Mary of Mercy Parish, The Point/Gateway Center; and St. Patrick-St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish, Strip District; effective Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, with primary responsibility to Allegheny County Jail and St. Joseph House of Hospitality. In addition, Deacon Caruso is assigned to ministry of service and charity at the parishes in this same grouping. These appointments are effective Monday, Oct. 15, Deacon William H. In addition, Deacon Carver maintains his ministry of service and charity assignment at UPMC Passavant Hospital, Cranberry, and the nursing homes within this grouping. These Deacon Joseph A. In addition, Deacon Cerenzia is relieved of his responsibilities as deacon director of Religious Education Vicariate 3, and assigned to ministry of service and charity in the Diocese of Pittsburgh Diaconate Office, helping to increase vocation awareness. These appointments are effective Monday, Oct. 15, Deacon Richard R. Cessar from diaconal ministry at St. Sebastian Parish, Ross Township, to ministry of sacrament and the ministry of word in the Observatory Hill/Perrysville/Ross/West View grouping, namely: St. Athanasius Parish, West View; Incarnation Parish, North Side; St. Sebastian Parish, Ross Township; and St. Teresa of Avila Parish, Perrysville, in accord with the faculties for deacons and under the direction of the administrator. In addition, Deacon Cessar is assigned to ministry of service and charity at the parishes in this same grouping. These appointments are effective Monday, Oct. 15, Deacon Edwin P.
