1 Lúmen Chrísti The deacon enters the church with the procession carrying the triple candle. After the acolyte lights one of the branches, the deacon sings: All, except the sub-deacon genuflect while the choir answers: All rise. The procession stops in the middle of the church and again in the sanctuary where the same ceremony is repeated. The deacon sings, Lúmen Chrísti, in a higher key each time, and the choir answers, Déo grátias. DialogEasterVigil_776L INSTITUTE OF CHRIST THE KING SOVEREIGN PRIEST p. 739
2 Responses during the Exultet The Choir sings responses from the Preface in the ferial tone: Per Dóminum nostrum Jesum Christum Fílium suum: Qui cum eo vivit et regnat in unitáte Spíritus Sancti Deus At the conclusion of the Exsultet, the Choir responds with Amen as follows: Per eúmdem Dóminum nostrum Jesum Christum Fílium tuum: Qui tecum vivit et regnat in unitáte Spíritus Sancti Deus 3/16/2018 DialogEasterVigil_776M Missale Romanum (1954) DoxologyEasterVigil_776O INSTITUTE OF CHRIST THE KING SOVEREIGN PRIEST pp. 185, 193
