Registration form and payments can be mailed in advance to: Schuylkill Valley Middle School, Attention: Mrs. Jennifer Koch, 114 Ontelaunee Drive, Leesport PA Some classes have limited enrollment and will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Class Dates: Monday, September 18th through Friday, November 10th 2017 *Please be aware that some designated sessions are broken into two groupings and each session is paid separately. Our instructors, having completed a certification class, are Certified Swim Lesson Instructors, Note to Parents/Guardians: Please read each level carefully to decide the placement of your child. Our instructors will confirm your placement on the first night of lessons. Your cooperation with the following rules would be greatly appreciated: 1. Have your child prepared for each class. 2. Please have your child use the lavatory before class. 3. Stay with your child until the instructor calls the class. Children should remain AWAY from the edge of the pool until that time. 4. All parents/guardians are required to observe from the mezzanine, unless expressly called by the instructor or Deck Supervisor. Learn to Swim Program: Fee $45.00* (Per four (4) week session) Session 1-9/20/17 through 10/13/17 Session 2-10/18/17-11/10/17 Swim lessons held Wednesday & Friday s - end dates based strictly on those day/dates Level I- Preschool Skills- Ability to separate from parent(s)/guardian(s) Class A-1 Monday and Wednesday 5:00 P.M. 5:30 P.M. Class A-2 Monday and Wednesday 5:40 P.M. 6:10 P.M. Class A-3 Monday and Wednesday 6:20 P.M. 6:50 P.M. Level II- Advanced Preschool Skills- Fully submerge for three (3) seconds, float on front and back with assistance, familiarity with alternating arm action. Class B-1 Monday and Wednesday 5:00 P.M. 5:30 P.M. Class B-2 Monday and Wednesday 5:40P.M. 6:10 P.M.

Level III- Primary Skills Skills- Hold breath under water for five (5) seconds, float on front and back unassisted, swim ten (10) yards unassisted. Class C-1 Monday and Wednesday 5:00 P.M. 5:30 P.M. Class C-2 Monday and Wednesday 5:40 P.M. 6:10 P.M. Class C-3 Monday and Wednesday 6:20 P.M. 6:50 P.M. Level IV- Stroke Readiness Skills- Jump and dive into deep water, front and back crawl for one length of the pool, demonstrate rotary breathing. Class D-1 Monday and Wednesday 5:00 P.M. 5:30 P.M. Class D-2 Monday and Wednesday 5:40 P.M. 6:10 P.M. Class D-3 Monday and Wednesday 6:20 P.M. 6:50 P.M. Private ½ hour Swim Lessons are available on Wednesdays (6:30 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.) and Saturday s (9:00 A.M. 11:30 A.M.). These lessons are on a 1 st come 1 st served basis and must be requested with Mrs. Jennifer jsnyder@schuylkillvalley.org. The cost per four (4) week session is $65.00 and each lesson is ½ hour in length. Parent and Tot Classes: Fee $50.00* (Per four (4) week session and per one parent and one child. Additional parent/guardian and child is $30.00/session) Session 1-9/19/17 through 10/12/17 Session 2-10/17/17 through 11/9/17 Held Tuesday & Thursday - end dates based strictly on those day/dates This class is not intended to be a learn-to-swim class, it is designed to give children who are ages three (3) months to three (3) years an opportunity to have a safe and enjoyable introduction to the water. Parent or guardian must accompany the child in the water. Instructor: Mrs. JoAnn Hyneman Class E: Tuesday and Thursday 5:00 P.M. 5:30 P.M. Class F: Tuesday and Thursday 5:30 P.M. 6:00 P.M. Aqua Exercise: Fee $65.00* (Eight (8) week session 9/19/17 through 11/9/17) This class is a work at your own rate water exercise program. Helping to condition all of the muscles of your body with very little stress to the joints. This program is excellent for all ages and especially beneficial to those who suffer from stiff joints, arthritis, and back pain. Non- swimmers are welcome to participate; class is held in standing water only. All routines are performed to upbeat tunes! Come join the fun! 3 Competitive Dive Clinic: Fee $75.00* (Eight (8) week session 9/19-11/9/17) Designed to prepare the new or experienced diver to compete in Summer/Winter Dive programs, this clinic will cultivate skills, teach proper stretching and warm-up techniques and required approach and hurdles. Instructor: Mr. Chad Evans Class J: Tuesday and Thursday 6:30 P.M. 8:15 P.M. New divers from 6:30 P.M. 7:15 P.M. and experienced divers from 7:15-8:15 P.M. Competitive Swim Clinic: Red Group Grades K - four (4) Class L: Monday and Wednesday 7:00 P.M. 7:45 P.M. Fee: $60.00 Friday 3:45 P.M. 4:45 P.M. (Full eight (8) weeks) Black Group Grades five (5) seven (7) Class M: Monday and Wednesday 7:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. Fee: $70.00 Friday 3:45 P.M. 4:45 P.M. (Full eight (8) weeks) Gold Group Grades eight (8) - twelve (12) Class N: Monday and Thursday 3:00 P.M. 4:00 P.M. Fee: $ Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday 3:00 P.M. 4:30 P.M. (Full eight (8) weeks) Pool Rentals: The pool is available for Community Rentals on Saturdays.
