A human starts as an embryo, becomes a fetus, is born an infant, develops into a child, grows into a adolescent, matures into adulthood, and eventually dies.

At birth, a fetus simply changes location and changes its mode of acquiring food and dispensing waste, but at no point does the child become something entirely new or different.

The memorial Mass on Saturday and the luncheon afterward was a wonderful tribute to George s life. Thanks to all those who provided food and decorations and helped in anyway. Thanks to John Mebruer and all those who came back to sing in the choir. Thanks to all who were here to celebrate and reminisce with us. A special thank you to the Mary Queen of Peace Athletic Association for remembering him with prayer before all the CYC games that were played at St. E s on Saturday and with a plaque in his honor that they placed on the backstop of the ball field. It is comfort to know so many people are keeping George and his family in their thoughts and prayers.
