Then, daunting fears arrive, blown on an alien wind. It s obvious that we have not mastered the basics of serving our Christ. Only his presence saves us from sinking in the storm. Sometimes we sourly grumble and wish for less risky acts. Does walking on water really matter? It s easier on the roads. Forgive us, Lord, for our faltering faith and faulty attempts to walk in the way of our Savior. Amen. Activities will include cleaning out flower beds, spreading mulch, trimming up shrubs, power washing sidewalks and other great cleaning activities.
