It is the final Sunday/ week of Advent prior to the celebration of the birth of the one who brings, Hope, Love, Joy and Peace to the world; Jesus the Christ Son of the Most High God. In fact, tonight we will begin our liturgical celebration of Christmas. Let us then welcome into our lives Jesus beginning this season of Christmas. Check-in begins at 7:30AM, and the test will take place oncampus. Each student who has applied to attend Cathedral Catholic High School is registered to take the exam. Any amount is appreciated to help defer the cost of flowers. For a $15 donation, you may honor a loved one, living or deceased, with a poinsettia on the altar. Chastity and Marriage Education hosted by The Goretti Group Friday, January 5 th The Goretti Group will start courses on John Paul II s Theology of the Body. The Goretti Group meets every First Friday of the month at 5:30 pm for Adoration/Confession in the Church, 6:30 pm for Mass and 7:30 pm for dinner and Theology of the Body course in the Parish Hall. Come to any or all of it! There will also be an age appropriate course on Theology of the Body for teen girls at this time. Does your daughter need this vital education on the importance of purity? Debbie Bradel is a RN at the Culture of Life Family Services and Nathan Apodaca is a apologist and representative for Students for Life in San Marcos. Join us for this special prolife conference at OLR. Baptism For registered parishioners. Parents and Godparents must attend a Baptism class, held on the 3rd Thursday of the month, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. First Holy Communion is 1st and 2nd grades. Confirmation is 8th and 9th grades.
