First Holy Communion: Our second preparation Mass for our First Holy Communion class together with their parents and families will be celebrated today, Sunday at 10:30 am in St Michael s Church, Kildysart. Adoration: Our extended period of silent prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament will take place from 10 am until 3 pm on Friday, 1st December in our parish church. All are welcome to spend time in the presence of the Lord. First Friday: Next Friday is the first Friday in December. The monthly visits to the sick and housebound will take place that morning. Mass will be celebrated in St Michael s church, Kildysart on Friday evening at 8 pm. If anybody would like to have the Blessed Sacrament brought to them on the First Friday, they are very welcome to contact the parish office or Fr Albert McDonnell ( ). Ordination: Martin Shanahan will be ordained as a deacon for the Diocese of Killaloe by Bishop Fintan Monahan in the Cathedral Ennis on Sunday, 26th November. Martin is a native of Quilty and worked for over thirty years with the ESB. His wife, Margaret Mary died in 2011 and he has one son Éoin who is a third level student. As Martin is ordained a deacon, he enters into the final stage in his preparations for his Priestly Ordination next summer. Please keep him and his family in your prayers this weekend. Clare Stroke Support Club will hold its next meeting on Monday, 27th November from 12 noon to 2 pm in Fahy Hall, Roslevan.
