Luisa Piccarreta "The Little Daughter of the Divine Will" Luisa Piccarreta was born and baptized in Corato, (Bari), Italy, on April 23, In the "Mother Church" of Corato she also received her First Communion and Confirmation in At age 11, she became a Daughter of Mary and at age 18, became a Dominican Tertiary. Invited by the Blessed Virgin Mary she offered herself to the Lord as a victim of love and reparation when she was 17 years old. From this point on, she was slightly more than 64 years in bed, without being sick, and was nourished almost exclusively on the Eucharist. By obedience to her confessor, on February 28, 1899, she began to write her spiritual diary and finished on December 28, Her education consisted of only first grade studies. 5

She had as an extraordinary confessor and censor of her writings, the now Blessed Annibale Maria Di Francia. The relationship with him started in 1910 and ended in 1927 when he passed away. Luisa, the "Little Daughter of the Divine Will," chosen by God for the Mission of "Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven" died on March 4, The Congregation for the Cause of Saints, granted the "Nulla Obstare" on March 28, 1994, to open the Cause of Beatification of the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta, Dominican Tertiary. On November 20, of the same year, Monsignor Carmelo Cassati, Archbishop of Trani-Barletta-Bisceglie, in the "Mother Church" of Corato, initiated the process of Beatification and Canonization, establishing for that purpose the Tribunal. The Archbishop, President of the Tribunal; the other members of the Tribunal, faithful from many parts of the world; and a great participation of the people of Corato attended the Opening Mass of her Cause. This is how Luisa began the journey toward the honor of the altars. With the authorization of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith, from January 28 to February 3, 1996, copies were made of the 34 manuscript volumes written by the Servant of God, that since 1937 were in the Archives of the above mentioned Congregation, and were released to the Tribunal of the Cause for their study. 6

"THE ROUNDS OF THE SOUL IN THE DIVINE WILL" This little book entitled "The Rounds of the Soul in the Divine Will" which you now hold in your hands is a guide for praying "The Chaplet of the FIAT of Creation, Redemption, and Sanctification. The book contains twenty-four meditations divided into four parts which we call "The Twenty-four Hours of a Day in the Divine Will." "The Chaplet of the FIAT of Creation, Redemption, and Sanctification" In your hands you also have a little rosary which we call "The Chaplet of the FIAT of Creation, Redemption and Sanctification...", because it is similar to a crown and is formed by seven groups of three small beads, one white, one red and one green; separated by a large white bead. The Chaplet finishes with a medal of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which has the word "FIAT" on the reverse side. The beads of the Chaplet are of three colors: white, red and green, in memory of what happened to the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta, when at age 23, she received from God the grace of "The Mystical Marriage", a grace she received in the presence of the Most Holy Trinity, when Jesus gave her a ring with three precious stones: the first white, the second red and the third green; which symbolize the Most Holy Trinity and the Theological Virtues. And that same day, as Jesus told Luisa many years later, God gave her the "Gift of the Divine Will". When we pray the Chaplet, we ask God, with insistence for the same Gift. We also ask for the same thing when we pray the Our Father. 7

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE THREE "FIAT" Dear brother and sister, now that we are inviting you to make "The Rounds of the Soul in the Divine Will", praying the "Chaplet of the FIAT of Creation, Redemption, and Sanctification", we would like to explain to you the meaning and intention of this beautiful prayer. The book is entitled "The Rounds of the Soul in the Divine Will" because the twenty-four meditations which it contains, are like a journey in the form of reflection and prayer, through all the marvelous works realized by the Holy Trinity since the Creation of the world for Love of His children. In this journey, we contemplate these Works of God with the brief meditation of each "Hour" which helps us to reflect on them with love and gratitude, remembering them and receiving them in our hearts; and giving in return to them our correspondence of love to Our Creator. Since in the journey that we make, we briefly visit Creation, Redemption and the Sanctification of all the human family, we call it the "Chaplet of the FIAT of Creation, Redemption and Sanctification. You must have noticed how often the word "FIAT" is repeated and you must have asked yourself what it means. "FIAT" is a Latin word which means "Let it be done". In the Eternal Plan of God it is very important, since It is in the root, and is the Life of the three greatest Works of God which we consider here: Creation, Redemption, and Sanctification of man. You know that...by the Will of God all which never existed was created", this Divine Will, to create wanted to pronounce a word, and this was: "FIAT LUX", which is to say "Let there be light", and in this way 8

God initiated the Creation of all that exists. The work of Redemption is also the fruit of God's Will and it was fulfilled by means of the Incarnation of the Word, His Passion, Death and Resurrection. However, for the Saving Will to be accomplished, God decreed that another "FIAT" be pronounced, but that now it should be that of a creature. And it was Mary who with her "FIAT MIHI", the "Let it be done to me according to Your Word", received and opened the door to this grandiose Work. The fullness of Redemption, which is the Sanctification of man and the perfect Glorification of God, will be totally developed with the fulfillment of the Third FIAT, the "FIAT VOLUNTAS TUA", the "THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN". In this Third FIAT the initiative is also from God, and just as it was with Redemption, it is likewise necessary that the creature respond with its little Fiat. Which like Mary, each of us should pronounce and live every day in every one of our acts, and in this way, God will reign in us on earth as in Heaven. The fulfillment or realization of this Third or last FIAT is the crowning of all the Works of God.; it is a marvelous, immense, and undeserved Gift, which God wants to give to all humanity; it is the "Reign of the FIAT in the midst of the creatures"; it is the "Reign of the Will of God on earth as in Heaven"; it is the Reign that Christ conquered for us and taught us to ask of the Father. God wants to give us the fullness of this Reign of Sanctity, Beauty, Love, and Infinite Happiness, but He wants us to dispose ourselves to receive it, and for that it is necessary to know it, love it, desire it, and ask for it. To know this Reign, we should meditate on the Word of God and all that the Church teaches us. Our understanding of the significance of the Reign of the Divine Will on earth as in Heaven can also be augmented by reading and reflecting on the writings of the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta "The Little 9

Daughter of the Divine Will", which have this as their central theme. We love this Reign if we put the Word of God into practice as Mary our Mother, and pronounce our little Fiat every day in all of our acts, uniting them with those of Jesus and Mary. Lastly, a beautiful way to desire and ask for this Reign is to pray this "Chaplet", since imprinting our little "I love you, I adore you, I bless you, I thank you", in all the Works of God, in His eyes we make a most beautiful act of love; which, little by little begins to give us the possession of all His Works and together with Them we learn to ask the Father for His Kingdom. It is also a very simple way of praying, which helps us to fulfill the first obligation of love which every creature, and every child has: to adore, worship, bless and be thankful to God for all His Works and the Divine Life which He offers us and wants to share with us. As a complement and help to all which has been said in the preceding pages, we offer the beginning of the chapter of August 9, 1925; Volume 18 of the writings of Luisa. As I was fusing myself into the Holy Divine Will to correspond in love to God for all that He did in Creation for love of the creature, my thoughts were telling me that it was not necessary to do that, nor was this form of prayer pleasing to my Jesus, they were telling me that all of this was only an invention of my head. And my always lovable Jesus moving Himself in my interior, said to me: "My daughter, you must know that this way of praying, that is, of corresponding to God in love for all the things created by Him, is a divine right and enters in the first obligation of the creature. Creation was done for Love of man, even more, so much was Our Love that if it had been necessary, We would have created as many 10

heavens, as many suns, as many stars, as many seas, earths and plants, and all the rest for as many creatures as would have come to the light of this world, so each one would have a complete creation all for itself, a universe all exclusively its own. In the beginning it was like that. When everything was created, there was only Adam the only spectator of all Creation. He could enjoy and rejoice in all the goods that he wanted. And if We did not do it that way, one Creation for each person, it was because man could enjoy all creation equally as if it were his, no matter if others also enjoy it. In reality, who cannot say: the Sun is mine, and enjoy the light of the Sun as much as he wants? Who cannot say, the water is mine, and quench his thirst and make use of it wherever he needs it? Who cannot say, the earth, the fire, the air, are mine? And the same of so many other things created by Me. And if it seems that man is lacking some things, and does not receive them, it is because of sin which, obstructing the passage to my benefits, impedes things created by Me from being magnanimous and all because of the ungrateful creature. Then being this way, that in all created things God bound His love to each creature; it becomes the creature s duty to correspond to God with its little love, its gratitude, its thankfulness towards Him Who has done so much for it. This lack of correspondence to God in love for all that He has done in the Creation for man is the first fraud of the creature against God; and the creature is an usurper of His gifts, without even recognizing from where they come and Who has loved her so much. That is why, it is the first duty of the creature; and it is so indispensable and important, that She who took to heart all our glory, our defense, our interests, did none other than go around everywhere, from the smallest to the greatest of things created by God, to imprint her correspondence of love, of glory, of thanksgiving for everyone and in the name of all the human generations. Ah, yes, it was really my Celestial Mother who filled Heaven and earth with the 11

correspondence for all that God had done in Creation. After Her, it was my Humanity which fulfilled this duty so sacrosanct in which the creature had been so lacking, and which made My Father favorable towards the guilty man. Thus, they were my prayers and those of my inseparable Mother and, do you not want, then, to repeat our same prayers? Indeed, it is precisely for this that I have called you into my Volition so that you associate with us and continue and repeat our acts. Then I tried so much as I could, to make rounds through all created things in order to give to my God the correspondence of love, of glory, and of gratitude for all that God did in the Creation... And I seemed to see then in all the things, the correspondence of love of my Mother and of my beloved Jesus, and this correspondence formed the most beautiful harmony between Heaven and earth and bound the Creator with the creature. Each correspondence of love was a note, a little sonata of Celestial music that enraptured. PRAYER ON AWAKENING Oh, Most Holy Trinity! as soon as I open my eyes to the light of this new day, I ask that You renew the consecration with which You consecrated me to You in my Baptism. I want to renew this consecration and the total surrender of all that I am, repeating together with Mary our Mother: "FIAT MIHI, Let it be done to me according to your Word"; and together with Jesus in the moment of His Incarnation: "Here I am Father, I come to do Your Will", and in the Garden: "Not my will, but Yours be done". Because I want, as They did to live only and always in Your Will, and that It be my Life, my nourishment and my All. And so, permit me to enter now in Your Will, what's more, give me Your hand and put me in the Immensity of Your Will, so that nothing is done that is not an effect 12

of Your Most Holy Will. It is my intention, Lord, that all my acts of this day, small and large, natural and spiritual, serve to make the Life of Your Will grow in my person, in Your Church, and be a continuous prayer which repeats: "Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done on earth as in Heaven. Oh, Most Holy Trinity! in Your Holy Will I want to fulfill my first obligation as a creature, and so, following Jesus and Mary, I repeat: "I love You, I adore You, I bless You, and I thank You" for all that You have created and made for me and for all. And since everything is found in Your Will, I want to begin the day by going to each intelligence of the creature, to each thought, affect and desire, to each beat, breath and movement, to each glance, word and work, and to all that has been made, is being made and will be made, to give You the kiss, the correspondence of love, the adoration and the glory that all owe You for each and every one of Your creatures and for each one of Your Works. Lord, I want to unite also these acts to those that were done by innocent Adam and Eve in the Eternal Light of Your Will, and to those which have been done and will be done by all who live in Your Adorable Will. Oh Most Holy Trinity! to live always in Your Will, I ask that You fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and grant me the help and protection of the Holy Angels and all the Saints. And since to Luisa "The Little Daughter of Your Will", You manifested the grand marvels of "Living in Your Will", by her intercession, grant me the grace to imitate her in her love for You and for Your Will, and in her fidelity and attention to all that You taught her; and let it be as in her, that the flight of all my acts be continuously in Your Will. Amen. 13

HOW TO PRAY THE CHAPLET In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Say the "Initial Prayer": My Lord and God, now that I dispose myself to visit the Works of Your Hands, I ask that You give me Your Holy Spirit, and grant me the spiritual wisdom and intelligence to be able to obtain a perfect knowledge of your Will. Jesus, I want to unite myself to Your Most Holy Humanity to make this journey, and with You submerge myself in the Divine Will, where all your Acts are found, to fulfill with Your help and that of our Immaculate Mother the holy task of keeping you company and reciprocating with my "I love you, I adore you, I bless you and I give you thanks for me and for all" to Your Love, to Your Will in all of Its manifestations in Creation, Redemption and Sanctification of the world. It is my intention also, to bring into the presence of the Most Holy Trinity each of Your Acts and together with You and our Mother ask that "Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done on Earth as in Heaven". Amen. Now, choose any one of the four parts into which The Twenty-four Hours of the Day in the Divine Will" are divided and start with the reading of the meditation corresponding to each hour. At the end of each hour, pray an Our Father, a Hail Mary and a Glory Be, which correspond respectively to the small white, red and green bead, then say the aspiration: "Descend Oh Supreme Will, and come to Reign upon the earth", which corresponds to the large white bead. After finishing the six "Hours", say an Our Father, a Hail Mary and a Glory Be for the intentions of the Holy Father. 14

The Twenty-four Hours of the Day in the Divine Will FIRST PART The soul is lifted up in the arms of its Creator and throws itself on His Divine Heart, to unite itself with Him in all the Acts that He did in Creation for Love of the soul; it does not want to leave Him alone, but wants to follow Him in everything. In doing this it returns to its origin and finds the beginning from whence it came. There, in His Divine Heart, everything is present as if in actuality He were in the process of creating everything. The creature wants to reciprocate with all its love for each created thing. In order to do this he must receive in his soul the deposit of the Love and Power that his Creator effused from His Heart with His Omnipotent FIAT in all Creation; and so he runs in each FIAT of his Creator to receive His Love and to be able to give in this way love for Love, glory and adoration to The One Who loves him so much. God wants His children always with Him, in everything that He does, He wants the presence and the company of those He loves and for whose love He is working. Later the soul is transported to Paradise, and receives there the FIAT of God, with which He infused in man the breath and Life of His Will. The soul is hurt, and tries to amend with love for its fall. Finally, it travels through all the centuries to embrace all men and to make reparation for each one of them. 15

First Hour The soul follows the Divine Will in the creation of the Heaven and of the Sun. My Jesus, I want to make my own all the love that your Divine Fiat had in creating the star-studded sky, so I may in turn spread out my heaven of love in your Omnipotent Fiat. And so, adorning all the sky with my love, I want to give my voice to every star, so it may repeat with me: "Jesus, I love You... May your Kingdom come quickly upon the earth. I come to the Sun which you created for me, I want to receive in myself all its light, its warmth and all its effects, so I too may be able to offer you my sun, to praise, glorify and bless with it the everlasting Light, its unquenchable Love, Your exquisite Beauty, Your infinite Sweetness, Your countless tastes. Second Hour The soul follows the Divine Will in the creation of the sea and the wind. My Jesus, I come to the sea, I hear its continuous murmur, the symbol of your Eternal Motion that never stops. I enter into that infinite and ceaseless Divine Motion that gives life to everyone, and I make it my own to give it to everyone and to ask You in behalf of everyone for the Kingdom of your Will. I make rounds also in the wind, to love, to praise, to glorify, to sing, and to bless the Kingdom of your Will in it. Jesus, with the Sovereignty of your Supreme Will, make Your Kingdom come in the midst of creatures, and dominate in them in such a way that no one will ever be able to resist It. Third Hour 16

The soul follows the Divine Will flying over the earth, admiring all created things. My Jesus, I see that all creation is filled with your adorable Will. And I want to praise, to glorify, and to seal with my "I love You" the order and harmony of all Creation, to bring to everyone the order and harmony of the Kingdom of the Divine Will. I want also to animate everything, and give my voice to all, so that all will say: "Thy Will come to reign upon the earth. Fourth Hour The soul goes to Eden and joins in God s festivity over the creation of man. My Jesus, here I am in Paradise where I contemplate how with the Father and the Holy Spirit You are forming your beloved jewel, your masterpiece: the beautiful statue of man. With how much love They form the statue! They infuse so much beauty in it, They dress it in so many Divine hues! And being able to contain Themselves no more, They infuse in the statue Life and Their Own Likeness. I also want to receive Your breath of Creation and I want to love You and adore You with the same perfection and holiness with which my first Father, Adam, loved and adored You; and offering You Adam s acts, I ask of You, that Your Reign come. Fifth Hour The soul is present at the fall of Adam in Eden, and tries to make amends with its own love. 17

My Jesus, Adam and Eve withdrew from your Will to do their own. And from the highest degree of all joy and delight, they plunged into the abyss of all miseries. To console your Heart, I want to form my fixed abode in your Divine Will. I never want to turn away from It. Sixth Hour The soul continues its act of reparation. It passes in review the principal figures of the Old Testament. My Jesus, I now pass in review the principal figures of the Old Testament, I meditate in them the prodigies of your Divine Will. For that I imprint my "I love You" in the sacrifice of Abraham, of Isaac, of Jacob, of Moses, etc., and I ask of You the Reign of Your Will. 18

SECOND PART The soul maintains itself in the arms of its Creator and follows the Divine Will, detaining itself in all the Acts of the Virgin Mary, makes them its own and gives them to God as if they belong to itself. It considers immediately the Conception of the Word, all the Acts that He did in His Life, and to each of them gives its little correspondence of love and gratitude, and begs for the advent of the Reign of the Divine Will upon the earth. Seventh Hour The soul submerges into the oceans of Light and Holiness of the Heavenly Mother. With Her, it prays that the Reign of the Divine Will come upon the earth. Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I see You are displaying oceans of power, wisdom, love, and indescribable beauty. Gathering all these oceans together, You call from the very depths of these oceans, in virtue of Your Omnipotent Word, the life of the Little Queen. You create her so very pure, without stain, and so rich in beauty that Your Own Divinity is enraptured. My Mother, in this first act of your Conception, together with Creation we storm upon our Heavenly Father and exclaim: "Let the Kingdom of the Divine Will come upon the earth!". 19

Eighth Hour The soul continues with the Sovereign Mother to beseech the Heavenly Father that the Divine Will may be known to all and His Kingdom come. Holy Mother, give your hand to your little child and help me cross the sea of your love, so that with your love I may more effectively ask for the coming of the Kingdom of Your Divine Will. I make my own your adoration of our Creator. I make my own your prayers, your supplications and your sighs, to ask through them for this Kingdom. Ninth Hour The soul follows the Divine Will in the Conception of the Word and keeps company with the little Prisoner Jesus, in the womb of His Mother. While I consider the Conception of the Word, I hide in your maternal womb my continual "I love You" and all my sufferings, to render fervent homage to the Son of God. Little Jesus, how many pains You suffer in the womb of the Virgin Mother for the tightness, immobility, and darkness you encounter there! I imprint my kiss, and my "I love You, on your tender limbs, to ask of You, through the merits of these sufferings of Yours, that your Divine Will may have movement in the creatures and, through Its light, may dispel the night of the human will and form the perennial day of your Divine Fiat. 20

Tenth Hour The soul follows the Little Child Jesus in the arms of His Heavenly Mother during the pain of the Circumcision and encloses all human wills in the pain of that wound. My delightful little Child, to implore your Divine Fiat I imprint my "I love You" in the pain You suffered with the cruel cut of Circumcision. I beseech You to enclose in that painful wound all human wills, to grant us in exchange the Life of your Divine Will. Eleventh Hour The soul follows the Baby Jesus in the flight to Egypt; it invites all Creation to caress the Child and, with everyone, asks for the Kingdom of the Divine Will. My lovable Child, You are forced to flee to seek refuge, for an impious man desires your death. Isn't this episode, perhaps, a symbol of the perfidy of the human will, which persecutes your Divine Will because it doesn't want your Will to reign? And I, my Jesus, as You run away, I want to make You feel everywhere my "I love You ", and since You run away to give me Life, I want to offer You my existence to defend Yours and to ask for the triumph of Your Will. 21

Twelfth Hour The soul with Jesus in Egypt: It offers Him its heart as a lodging and asks with the Queen of Heaven for the Kingdom of the Divine Will. My dear Jesus, here You are, arriving in Egypt. Accompanied by sorrow and tears, being forgotten, and by the abandonment of everyone, You are forced to enter into a small open shed. All this is symbolic of Your Will also wandering, for centuries, seeking lodging and does not obtain it. I unite myself to our Holy Mother to dry your Face and to imprint my "I love You" in every one of your tears and over your trembling lips; and, asking You for your Fiat, I offer my heart to your Divine Will as a perpetual dwelling. 22

THIRD PART The soul follows the Incarnate Word step by step, and accompanies Him with its love in all the Acts that He did in His hidden life and later in the most relevant Acts of His public life, asking always that His Kingdom come. Thirteenth Hour The soul is present at the first outing of the dear Child Jesus in the midst of the children of Egypt; it watches Him as He blesses them and it prays that He will also seal human wills with His blessing. My Heavenly Child, the children of Egypt, gather around You and You instruct them and finish blessing them. My Love, I accompany You in everything with my "I love You, I adore You, I bless You, I thank You and at the same time I ask for the Kingdom of Your FIAT. Fourteenth Hour The soul follows Jesus Who, after the exile, returns to Nazareth. Showering Him with its "I Love You, it asks Him with a thousand voices for His Divine Kingdom to come. Jesus, my Life, now that the exile is over, You are returning to Nazareth, and I follow You step by step. What's more, I want to accompany You with a shower of "I love You, I adore You, I bless You", inviting all Creation to keep You company. You are now arriving in Nazareth, and I want to enter together with You into this sacred enclosure and, there, continue to offer You the canticle of my "I love You, to conquer You with love and to obtain what You 23

Yourself want and what the Queen Mother asks for: which is, that Your Will be known by all creatures. Fifteenth Hour The soul follows Jesus into the Desert. Stopping by the Jordan, it asks Him for the Life-giving Baptism of His Divine Will, so all may receive His Life. Jesus, my Life, I see that You go into the Desert and to ask You for the Kingdom of your Divine Will, I follow You step by step with my "I love You. As You reach the Jordan, I saturate that water with my "I love You" to ask You for the Life-giving waters of Your Divine Will and the coming of Your Kingdom for all creatures. Sixteenth Hour The soul follows Jesus to the Wedding Feast in Cana. It asks Him to exchange the human will with the Divine Will. It continues to follow Him in His Public Life. Jesus, at Cana, your Heart beats with special tenderness, because You recall having blessed other nuptials in Eden, that of innocent Adam. It was a double wedding feast You attended at that time: a wedding between your Divine Will and the human, wedding between man and woman. You gave them as dowry the entire Creation but, above all, your Divine Will beating in their hearts and in every created thing. I beg You for love to the Sovereign Queen, to perform the great miracle: to change the human will into the Divine Will. Seventeenth Hour 24

The soul follows Jesus in His miracles and asks Him to perform the great miracle of resurrecting all souls in the Divine Will. My Jesus, Friend, Master and Physician of men, for everyone You have words of consolation and You do not hesitate to touch their diseased limbs to heal them. All human miseries pierce your Divine Heart and wound It. It is this degraded human will, that in producing its worst effects, makes humanity so unhappy. That is why You go dispensing miracles to call Your Divine Will to Reign in the midst of Your creatures. Eighteenth Hour The soul follows Jesus as He enters Jerusalem and asks Him for the Victory of the Divine Will over the human will. It follows Him later in the institution of the Sacraments. My Heavenly Love, I follow you with my I love You in the triumphant entry You made into Jerusalem. This entrance seems to want to give me the joyful news that the Kingdom of Your Divine FIAT will soon arrive on earth. My Love, I come close to You to imprint my "I love You, I adore You, I bless You, I thank You in each of the Sacraments that you institute. 25

FOURTH PART The soul follows the Incarnate Word step by step, makes its own all these mysteries, envelops them in its love and offers them to the Most Holy Trinity asking Them for Their Divine Kingdom. That is why it follows Him from His Passion to His Death, goes with Him unto Limbo, waits for Him in the Sepulcher, and asks of Him the triumph of the Kingdom of His Divine Will in virtue of His Glorious Resurrection. Finally, it follows Him in His Ascension to Heaven to urge Him to reestablish the Kingdom of the Divine FIAT over the earth. Nineteenth Hour The soul follows Jesus to Gethsemani and in the three Hours of agony in the Garden. My Jesus, here in the Garden, everything makes itself present to You: the sins of all men, the pains of Your Passion, each of which bears the infamous imprint of the deadly weapon of the human will that fights against a God. I want to comfort You, by making my "I Love You, I adore You, I praise You" flow in every drop of Your Blood, in Your every suffering, anguish and sigh. And before You leave Gethsemani I ask you to assure me that the triumph of your Divine Will will not be long in coming. 26

Twentieth Hour The soul follows Jesus in the suffering of His Passion to Calvary, and in His Death on the Cross and prays for the Triumph of the Divine Will. Jesus, my "I love You" follows You always and seals all Your sufferings and Your spasms until Your last breath. By the pain that You suffered in being condemned to death free us from the death that we give to Your FIAT in our souls, make our will die to itself and let Your Divine Will resurge dominantly and form Your Kingdom in all our acts. Oh Jesus, now You agonize and are ready to take Your last breath, I beg You, for the atrocious pain that You suffered on the Cross, that You infuse in us a burning desire to live in Your Will. Twenty-first Hour The soul encloses itself in the sepulcher with Jesus to bury its will with Him, it descends later to Limbo and asks with all those souls for the Reign of the Divine Will. My Love, now deceased, I seal Your tomb with My "I love You" and I ask that You bury my human will in a manner that it will never have the possibility to return to life. I follow You to Limbo, and with surprise see that those holy souls rejoice; and, prostrating themselves, adore You. But it seems that the celebration is not complete because they all, in chorus say to You: "Sweet Savior, we thank You for how much You have done and suffered for Love of us, but now that You have redeemed us, fulfill Your Work: Make Your Divine Will Reign on earth as in It does in Heaven. 27

Twenty-second Hour The soul witnesses how Jesus triumphantly leaves Limbo and asks together with the Queen of Suffering and with all the souls of the just that the Divine Will Reign upon the earth. My Jesus, do You not hear the chorus of those voices so dear to You, and do You not hear the petition of the Queen of Suffering herself? Today, the day of Your Death, is also the day of Your victories, of Your triumph, grant us then, before leaving Limbo, the triumph of Your Divine Will over all human wills. Twenty-third Hour The soul follows Jesus in the act of the Resurrection and asks of Him that the human will be overthrown, and resurge in the Divine Will.. My Jesus, now You direct Yourself to the sepulcher to triumph over death and make Your Most Holy Humanity resurrect from the dead. What a solemn moment! To celebrate it and to obtain the resurrection of Your Divine Will in all creatures, I want to hide my "I love You everywhere: in the sepulcher, in the Act in which You rose from the dead, and in the same light of glory that surrounds You. And You, My Love, in order to celebrate this date of jubilation, conquer our human will and make Your Victorious Will resurge forever in us. 28

Twenty-fourth Hour The soul is present at the Ascension of Jesus and asks to be able to sing always: "May the Kingdom of Your Divine Will come to earth". My risen Jesus, while, with Your triumphant entrance into Heaven You open the doors which were closed for so many centuries to poor humanity, I imprint my "I love You" over those eternal doors. By that same blessing that You gave to all the disciples who were present at the celebration of Your Ascension, I ask You to bless all human wills, so that they can know and appreciate the gift of the Life lived in Your Divine Will. My Love, already seated at the right hand of the Father, I ask You to leave the doors to Your Heavenly dwelling always open, so that I can come unceasingly to Your feet, climb up into Your arms and, untiringly, repeat my canticle of love: "Make the Kingdom of Your Holy Will come and Your Will be done on earth as in Heaven!". Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be for the intentions of the Holy Father. Pray for us Queen of the Divine Will, so that the Divine Will Reigns on earth as It does in Heaven. 29

CONCLUSION In finishing this "Rounds of the soul in the Divine Will" we would like to invite you, to pray at least part of this daily, as in this way, not only will you correspond in love to Our God, but also you will be tightening the links of love with all His Works and taking possession of them; and His Reign, of which these Works form part, will extend itself in your soul. The meditations and prayers of this "Chaplet" are taken of the "Book of the Rounds of the Soul in the Divine Will" which Luisa wrote. With the help of this little book you can complement what you have learned to do in this "Chaplet". Once you have mastered the intention and the spirit with which these rounds are done, guided by the Holy Spirit, you be able to do your own rounds or journeys in the Works of God. To finish, we would like to insist on the importance, not only in doing this exercise of love in our prayer, but also that this attitude should remain in our hearts throughout the day, in all our actions. One truth which is repeated throughout the writings of Luisa and which is very important is that the Divine Will wants not only to enclose all of His Works in us, but also to extend Its Reign, that is to say, form Its Divine Life in ours. Do you want to know how to grow in the Fiat, that is to say: how to Live in the Divine Will during the day? Luisa responds in one of her letters: "Call the Divine Will in all that you do, if it is a natural thing, or spiritual. Because everything is in the Divine Will and It wants to Love together with you, if you call the Divine Will, It will grant you Its Love to love It, It will give you Its holiness to sanctify you, the light to know It and to make disappear weaknesses, miseries, passions, so that they will no longer have life in you, but that only 30

the Divine Will extends Itself and forms Its Life in your every little act. (From the letters of Luisa, Corato, ) Fiat!!! 31
