1 Eucharistic Adoration It is very important to keep parishioners informed of the days and hours of Eucharistic Adoration at your parish. A telephone number of a person to contact is also very important. Bulletin notes may be a means to maintain contact with current adorers as well as a way to encourage new adorers. 2 God dwells among His people in the flesh of Jesus Christ, born in Bethlehem, present in the Eucharist. God is made present in the Holy Eucharist at Holy Mass for us to receive as our Spiritual Food. He dwells in our tabernacle and is enshrined in the monstrance for us to adore. He will be with us until the end of time. Adoration is given to God alone. That is why it is called Eucharistic Adoration because the Holy Eucharist is God! Visit our Risen Lord. In Eucharistic Adoration, we are not just thinking about God, we are with God! Visit our Risen Lord. I have risen: I am with you once more. (Luke 24:34) Our Blessed Lord has indeed risen, and awaits our visit with Him during Eucharistic Adoration. God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him might have Eternal Life. This is the Son of God. Believe in Him! Visit Him! Look upon Him Whom they have pierced (Pope Benedict XVI)...in Eucharistic Adoration Let your eyes of faith see within the Sacred Host, Our Savior Jesus Christ, Whose Heart was pierced for love of us.

3 The Lord, your God, shall you worship and Him alone shall you serve. (Matthew 4:10) The Lord Our God s Real Presence is with us, and His command is very clear. Give some time and worship Him. He gives us every second of our life. Ours were the sufferings He bore; ours the torments He endured. (Antiphon) Being in the Presence of Our Lord is the perfect way to meditate on the sufferings He endured for our sins. Visit with Him during Eucharistic Adoration. Jesus loves us so much that He. Chose to remain with us in His glorified human body veiled in the Holy Eucharist. How do we repay this love? By simply visiting Him. The Eucharistic Presence "is a Presence in the fullest sense: a Substantial Presence whereby Christ, the God-Man, is wholly and entirely present" (Pope Paul VI) God is made really and truly present in the Holy Eucharist at Holy Mass for us to receive as our Spiritual Food. Be Still! Listen! This is He of Whom John said: I have seen and have given witness that this is the Son of God. (Jn 1:32,34) Do you need a witness to believe that this is Jesus, the Son of God? Ask St. John to help your unbelief.

4 Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening. (1 Samuel 3:10) Do we hear Our Lord calling to us? He speaks to us in the silence. Come Listen to Him. Time waits for no one! But the Lord Jesus is waiting for you! It is hard to believe, but it s true. God, Who love us more than we can comprehend desires personal time with you. Don t keep Him waiting. Truly, You are the Son of God. (Matthew 14:33) After calming the sea, the apostles believed that Jesus was the Son of God. What do you need to believe? This Son of God waits for us to visit Him, so that He can calm the rough waves in our life. I Am the Lord, your God, Who grasp your right hand; It is I Who say to you, fear not, I will help you. (Is 41:13) Our Lord is always ready to help us, but we must ask Him. Share your fears and hopes with the Lord Jesus Who waits patiently for your visit. He was laid in a wooden manger And nailed to a wooden cross It is easy to recognize an image of Our Lord in the manger at Christmas, as well as when we look upon a crucifix. But when we look at the Consecrated Host, enshrined in the monstrance, is He as easily recognized? Pray for the gift of faith. The little baby in the manger and the Man on the cross are images of Jesus Christ, but the One Who is in the monstrance is not an image, but the Real Presence of Jesus in His glorified body, hidden within the Consecrated Host. Take the opportunity to know Jesus a little better in His Eucharistic Presence so that He becomes more easily recognized.

5 We, as Catholics, are truly blessed. We have with us, the Real Presence of Jesus Christ. He is with us in His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity, made possible only by the HOLY PRIESTHOOD. THANK OUR PRIESTS What makes us even more blessed is we have the opportunity to visit Jesus during Eucharistic Adoration. When you look at the Consecrated Host, enshrined in the monstrance, do you see bread, or do you recognize that it is not bread but the Risen Christ? This is Jesus Christ, True God and True Man, a doctrine of our faith that is not negotiable. Come visit Him. Jesus waits with loving patience for His servants, His children; day and night He is waiting for them. (St. Peter Julian Eymard) St. Eymard is referring to Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament. He is reminding us that we are His servants, we are His children and He is waiting in our Adoration Chapel day and night for us to visit. The DOCTOR is in! Praise and thank the Lord for His countless gifts and blessings! Where? In His Real Presence in your Adoration Chapel or Church How? By being really present to Him, as He is Really Present to us.
