2 Gratitude: Every year, St. Andrew's is blessed by the generosity of parishioners who exercise their stewardship over God's treasure by giving faithfully to this church. The Stewardship Team is calling your attention to the many ministries supported by those gifts, and in doing so is pointing to how we all grow in faith through supporting God's work at St. Andrew's. Mission, Ministry and Liturgy Every Tuesday, all year 'round, the men and women who have spent the night at the Greensboro Urban Ministries shelter and others who wait at the door after a night "somewhere" are served a hot breakfast by the Episcopal churches of Greensboro. The churches pledge the funds to buy the food, and they send the volunteers to scramble the eggs, pour the coffee, serve the food, pause for devotion, and clean up afterward. Episcopal Tuesday breakfasts are made possible by the gifts of parishioners to St. Andrew's and other Episcopal churches, directed to Urban Ministries through outreach budgets. Those who are strengthened by the meal, the volunteers who serve, the many residents of Greensboro who hold the poor in their prayers, all thank you for your stewardship in support of this ministry. 2

Coffee Hour Sign-Up St. Andrew s would love for parishioners to sign up to provide refreshments for the Sunday Coffee Hour after the 10:00 a.m. service. Anything you want to bring will be appreciated. Just be sure it is in the parish hall kitchen before the Sunday services. The VPOM will handle setup and cleanup. A sign-up calendar is on the bulletin board in the parish hall. Thank you in advance. Changes in St. Andrew s Urn Garden Policies, Rules and Regulations The Urn Garden Committee, with the approval of the Vestry, has made the following changes regarding the Urn Garden: 1) All urns will require an outer container (provided by the church). 2) Flowers and decorations are welcomed for special days. Decorations should be removed within two days of the special day. 3) Urn Garden Fee Increase. 5 Fellowship & Christian Formation Announcements Adult Formation for May Joe Graves will be leading our worship and formation class for three Sundays in May on race and the church. Discussion is based on the book by Joseph Barndt, Becoming the Anti-Racist Church. Five copies are available to buy or borrow from our library. Meeting times: May 15, 22, and 29. Bazaar Time Mark your calendars for the 2016 Bazaar on October 15th from 9:00-2:00. St. Andrew s 2015 bazaar grossed $21, netting $19, This success was the result of 100+ volunteers working in all aspects of the event. It could not have been successful without tremendous involvement from so many! Basket workshops begin in May.
