100 Days of Prayers, Quotes, and Proverbs For the year 2019 April 19th Good Friday For the sake of your sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and the whole world. Divine Mercy Chaplet April 20th Holy Saturday Heavenly Father, as your crucified Son lay in the dark tomb, may we too be raised from the darkness of sin, rising with Him to a new life. Amen. April 21st Easter Hallelujah! He is Risen! April 22nd Monday after Easter Jesus stood in the midst of His Disciples and said to them: "Peace be with you." Alleluia. April 23rd Tuesday after Easter Awaken our faith to see you and our love to serve you with rejoicing. Amen. April 24th Wednesday after Easter May we, along with the newly initiated into the Church at Easter, never cease to hunger and thirst for the table of the Lord. April 25th Thursday after Easter A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1 April 26th Friday after Easter Protect Life Loving God, I thank you for the gift of life. I pray that with your grace, I will reverence, protect and promote all life, especially of the unborn, neglected, abused, disabled and the elderly. Through You and Your Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

April 27th Saturday after Easter May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. St. Therese of Lisieux April 28th Divine Mercy Sunday Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world. Divine Mercy Chaplet April 29th St. Catherine of Siena First Woman Named a Doctor of the Church Be who you were created to be, and you will set this world on fire. April 30th Life is like a cash register; every account, every thought, every deed, like every sale, is registered and recorded. Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen May 1st St. Joseph the Worker St. Joseph was a just man, a tireless worker, the upright guardian of those entrusted to his care. May he always guard, protect and enlighten families. Pope John Paul II May 2nd The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him. G. K. Chesterton May 3rd St. Phillip Patron Saint of Bakers and Cooks St. Phillip, you were the apostle that Jesus gave the command "Follow Me." Help us to be faithful disciples and follow that command of Jesus. May 4th St. Monica Patron Saint of Wives, Abused Victims, Alcoholics, and Mothers Dear St. Monica, pray for me that I may, like your son, St. Augustine, turn from sin and become a great saint for the glory of God. Amen.

May 5th May our parish be animated by a missionary spirit, may it also be a place where faith is communicated and charity seen. Pope Francis May 6th Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here. Ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen. May 7th How cool is it that the same God who created mountains and oceans and galaxies looked at you and thought the world needed one of you too? May 8th Apparition of St. Michael St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and the snares of the devil. May God rebuke him and cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who seek the ruin of souls. Amen. May 9th Lord remind me that nothing is going to happen to me today that You and I can't handle together. May 10th St. Damien of Molokai Patron Saint of Lepers The Eucharist is the bread that gives us strength. It is the most eloquent proof of Jesus' love for us. Help us to persevere in compassion for the poor and forgotten. May 11th If we do not fill our minds with prayer, it will fill itself with anxieties, worries, temptations, resentment and unwelcome memories. Scott Hahn May 12th Mother's Day The loveliest masterpiece of the heart of God is the love of a mother. St. Therese of Lisieux Happy Mother's Day!

May 13th Our Lady of Fatima O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy. May 14th Many are the plans in man's heart, but it is the Lord's purposes that prevail. Proverbs 19:21 May 15th Every time I hear a televangelist emphasize a personal relationship with Christ, I thank God I am a Catholic. For only here can I receive the Lord, body, blood, soul and divinity. It doesn't get more personal than that. Father William Casey May 16th You don't have to be worthy; you only have to be willing. St. Padre Pio May 17th God gave us friends so that we might know the immeasurable beauty that comes from sharing our dreams with another human heart. May 18th Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love. Mother Teresa May 19th God made us a family. We need one another. We love one another. We forgive one another. We work together. We play together. We pray together. Together we learn God's Word. Together we grow in Christ. Together we serve our God.

May 20th St. Bernadine of Siena Patron Saint of Advertising, Public Relations Dear St. Bernadine, pray that we may always choose to speak Jesus' name with reverence and choose words of love over words of shame. Amen. May 21st Moral principles do not depend on a majority vote. Wrong is wrong, even if everybody is wrong. Right is right, even if nobody is right. Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen May 22nd St. Rita Patron of Impossible Causes, Difficult Marriages and Parenthood O Holy Patroness of those in need, whose pleading before the Lord is almost irresistible, who for thy lavishness in granting favors has been called the Advocate of the Hopeless and even of the Impossible, be favorable to our petitions. Amen. May 23rd Be not anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. Philippians 4:6 May 24th It is impossible to lose your footing when you're on your knees. Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen May 25th Those who know Your name will trust in You, Lord. You have never forsaken those who seek You. Psalm 9:10

May 27th Memorial Day Heavenly Father, on this day we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. May they be with You in Your heavenly kingdom. Cover our servicemen and women with Your grace and protection and give their families Your peace, providing hope and strength while their loved ones are away. In Jesus name, Amen. May 28th Most commit the same mistake with God that they do with their friends; they do all the talking. Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen May 29th Gentle Mary, my Mother, I place before you the worries, hurts and hopes of my heart. I reach out to you, Lady of Hope, smile on my loved ones. Your tender smile works miracles and heals. You are my true Mother, thank you, Mary. May 30th St. Joan of Arc Patron Saint of Soldiers and France O Lord, you wondrously raised up Joan to defend the faith and her country in Your name. Through her intercession, grant that the Church and our country may overcome the snares of her enemies and attain lasting peace. St. Joan, pray for us. May 31st The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Hail Mary, full of grace. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. And how does this happen to me that the Mother of my Lord should come to me. For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy. Luke 1:42-44

June 1st St. Angela Merici Patron Saint of Sickness, Disabled and Physically Challenged People and Those Grieving the Loss of Parents St. Angela, you were not afraid of change. You did not let stereotypes keep you from serving. Help us overcome our fear of change in order to follow God's call for us. Amen. June 2nd Ascension of the Lord Before Jesus ascended into Heaven, He said to His disciples, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and to the ends of the earth." When He said this, He was lifted up and a cloud took Him from their sight. Acts 1:8-9 June 3rd If we cannot love the person whom we can see, how can we love the God whom we cannot see? Mother Teresa June 4th You must remember to love people and use things; rather than to love things and use people. Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen June 5th Some people come into your life as a blessing; some come into your life as lessons. Mother Teresa June 6th Prayer is an act of love, words are not needed. Even if sickness distracts from thought, all that is needed is the will to love. St. Teresa of Avila June 7th When you feel like you're drowning in life, don't worry, your lifeguard walks on water. He will hold your hand.

June 8th Most Sacred Heart of Jesus O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I offer You all my prayers, works, and sufferings of this day in reparation for my sins and that I may grow to love You more and more. Amen. June 9th Pentecost Come, O Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. June 10th Mary's joy was to form Christ in her own body; her joy now is to form Christ in our souls. Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen June 11th When God sees us coming to Him in prayer, He leans His heart down very low to His little creature like a father who bends down to listen to his child when it speaks to him. St. John Vianney June 12th Feeling Anxious Prayer Dear Lord, fear or anxiety threaten to overtake me. Help me remember Your promise to be with me every second of my day. Help me to remember that You fight for me, provide for me, and protect me. Please touch my body and heal me mentally, emotionally and physically. Help me to relax, to be at peace, and to focus my mind on You. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. June 13th St. Anthony of Padua "Finder of Lost Articles" Patron Saint of Lost Things Saint Anthony, Saint Anthony, please come around. Something has been lost and must be found! The spirit of humility is sweeter than honey and whoever is fed by this sweetness produces fruit.

June 14th Flag Day I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. June 15th Lovely Lady dressed in blue, teach me how to pray! God was just your little boy, tell me what to say! Did you lift Him up sometimes gently on your knee? Did you sing to Him the way mother does to me? Did you hold His hand at night? O! And did He cry? Lovely Lady dressed in blue, teach me how to pray! God was just your little boy and you know the way. June 16th Father's Day Heavenly Father, You entrusted Your Son, Jesus, the child of Mary, to the care of Joseph, an earthly father. Bless all fathers as they care for their families. Give them strength and wisdom, tenderness and patience; support them in the work that they do, as we look to You for love and salvation. Through Jesus Christ. Amen. Happy Father s Day! June 17th Serenity Prayer God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. June 18th The great danger for family life in the midst of any society whose idols are pleasure, comfort and independence, lies in the fact that people close their hearts and become selfish. St. John Paul II

June 19th No one is perfect. Jacob was a cheater. Peter had a temper. David had an affair. Noah got drunk. Jonah ran from God. Paul was a murderer. Gideon was insecure. Miriam was a gossip. Martha was a worrier. Thomas was a doubter. Sara was impatient. Here's proof that God's grace is sufficient for you. June 20th Lord make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love; Where there is injury, Pardon; Where there is discord, Unity; Where there is doubt, Faith; Where there is error, Truth; Where there is despair, Hope; Where there is sadness, Joy; and Where there is darkness, Light. St. Francis June 21st O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; To be understood as to understand; To be loved, as to love; for It is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; It is in dying that we are born to eternal life. St. Francis

June 22nd Memorare Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins my mother, to thee I come before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful; O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen. June 23rd Most Sacred Heart of Jesus May the Sacred Heart of Jesus, be loved everywhere. Sacred Heart of Jesus, I give myself to you through Mary. Divine Heart of Jesus, convert sinners, save the dying, deliver the souls in purgatory. Sacred Heart of Jesus, protect our families. Amen. June 24th Quarrels end, but words once spoken never die. African Proverb June 25th God does not see as man sees, but the Lord looks at the heart. I Samuel 16:7 June 26th Don't shine so others can see you, shine so that through you, others can see Him. C. S. Lewis June 27th May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand. Irish Blessing
