3 A LIST OF THE Early Editions and Reprints OF THE General Convention Journals 1785=1814 IN THE LIBRARY OF TRINITY COLLEGE HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT APRIL. 1908

4 PREFATORY NOTE As the early issues of the Journals of the General Convention are each year becoming more rare and difficult to find, the present list of imprints may be of some interest to individuals and to libraries endeavoring to acquire complete sets or to fill up an imperfect series. The College Library contains perfect copies of every item in the list with the exception of the first; that it possesses only in facsimile and reprint. The size of each pamphlet is given in the notation adopted by the American Library Association. Thus, so indicates that the outside height of the copy in the College Library is between twenty and twenty-five centi meters. The size symbol in parenthesis (40) shows the actual fold of the printed sheet as ascertained from the signatures. A few copies have been trimmed rather too deeply by binders. Unnumbered pages are enclosed within square brackets, [ ]. The College owes this complete set of the early journals to the care and diligence of two former Librarians, the Rev. J. H. Barbour, D. D., '73, and the Rev. Samuel Hart, D. D., '66. The present Librarian will be grateful for any information which corrects or adds to the data given in the following pages.
