1 Welcome to All Saints. We are glad you have come to worship with us. If you would like to know more about our parish or the Episcopal Church, we invite you to fill out a pew card and place it in the offering plate or give it to one of the ushers or clergy on your way out this morning. We also encourage you to pick up a red visitors information bag from the newcomer s cart located just outside the doors to the church. Please join us in the parish house after the service for refreshments and fellowship. This bulletin has been designed to assist those unfamiliar with the Episcopal service. Our worship service can be found in The Book of Common Prayer, the red book in your pew rack; our hymns and service music are from The Hymnal 1982, the blue book in your pew rack. BCP numbers refer to pages in The Book of Common Prayer. Service music, preceded by S, is located in the front of The Hymnal Nursery care for infants through four year olds is available 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on the first floor of the Pritchett Center. If you are unfamiliar with our campus, an usher will be happy to direct you to the nursery. If you need communion brought to you in your pew, please inform an usher, who can assist those with mobility impairments. Hearing assistance and large print versions of The Book of Common Prayer are available. Restrooms are through the chapel and around to the right. ADVENT Advent is the first season of the church year, beginning with the fourth Sunday before Christmas and continuing through the day before Christmas. While MAC sees close to 30 clients each day, this particular situation seemed particularly heart wrenching. Recently one family found Midtown Assistance Center through their hospital social worker. A husband came to MAC seeking help with an electric bill after a recent job loss. His wife was in and out of the hospital being treated for a chronic illness. With no support system, the husband missed several work days trying to juggle the trips to the hospital and their two children. With the help of MAC staff and volunteers, Midtown Assistance Center was able to not only keep the lights from disconnection, but also with rental assistance and Christmas toys for the family. Since 1986, MAC has assisted in over 109,000 emergency situations and provided over $6,500,000 in assistance. On behalf of the MAC staff, clients, and volunteers, Have a joyous New Year, and thank you for your continued support! To learn more about MAC, visit PRAYER LIST From time to time a particular prayer is needed for oneself or others. All Saints maintains a continuous prayer list at Sunday services. Please do not use our online contact form for pastoral requests. Please send your request to Pat Kiley at patkiley@allsaintsatlanta.org or
